  I noticed that there was no WiFi service. I have downloaded and run the file 0zwl03ww.exe, which is listed as driver WiFi Intel for Win 7 32/64. The result was a message saying "access denied." Later, there was still no WiFi and no WiFi service pilot shown in Device Manager.

  I found and ran a setup.exe for Win7 inside the extracted folder. I went through the typical installation of choice routine and told me "The Intel ProSet Wireless WLAN software Setup Wizard ended prematurely" with no further explanation given.

  And, now resolved.  I ran the EXE file from a prompt CMD (DOS window).  When I opened the CMD window as an administrator, it worked fine.  I am up a race!
