* ACS enterprise architecture *.

Is it possible to use a combination of devices of full ACS configured as primary on the HQ site, with remote offices configured as secondary servers that are run on ACS express devices? OR are there restrictions on express devices ACS which would avoid this type of installation.

Thank you

ACS Express and non-express ACS are totally different products. They may not be in the same distributed deployment (i.e. replication partners) because they do not support the same things and don't work the same way.

That said, you can use Express to the branch and the non-express on the central site. Don't expect replication :-)

  • Error activate Windows 7 Enterprise 0xC004C020

Recently, I demanded a restoration of a backup of my Win 7 Enterprise install.

Windows told me that I needed to activate it. During the attempt, I got an error of activation 0xC004C020

I realize that it is a code of volume and the number of activations has been exceeded. However, the problem is that this error code occurs after a restoration that seems to me to be a problem. I don't understand why this should happen in this case. I can't have a new code for this computer as the financial support of our group is limited. Is there something that can be done?

    Thank you

    Chad

  • Windows 7 x 64 enterprise not real popups on a real system

My company gave me a couple laptop years at home because the screen got busted (I'm the company IT Department.). So I use it as a Media Center with a monitor external 24 ".  I removed all applications except Media Center. It is used in the room, so look at a most is done while in his bed. Then when the "your system is not authentic" pop-up happens I just press the green button on the remote control and Media Center jumps forward. Problem solved temporarily. I did it for a year or more. But now I want to remedy.

Now, this laptop was part of our area of work for a year or so and never complained of not being authentic. When I moved it to my original domain that he never complained. But sometimes in the last year or so he began to complain. System properties show that it is authentic. The MGADIAG.exe shows that it is authentic (see below)

Is there a way to get this popup to stop?

As long as you are certain that the enterprise MAK key is always good (your IT group so you should know if the key has been overused) download and install the latest drivers Intel IRST: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/sftwr-prod/imsm

Restart then run another report of Diag and post in your response.

  • Why my windows says that it is not a copy authentic?

I got my PC for at least 4 years now. I bought it from a reputable store and I signed everything. Now its saying my windows is not genuine. I have read the forums that seem to be overwhelmed from 2014, but I have not really found a solution. I don't think I have the registration key provided with this PC to fix this problem. I believe that after reading posts that it is Microsoft bug to fix, not mine.

How can I get rid of this message? Someone said to run the genuine tool and copy the report so here it is-

    Separated from this thread.

    Hello

Since a few days I also get the message that my computer is not running a version of Windows (Windows 7). It'Windows 7 Enterprise and we have a KMS host on our network. I checked on the spot and on the KMS host and Windows is successfully activated. I ran MGADiag:

I haven't added any hardware lately, so I don't really have any idea why this is happening all of a sudden.

Almost forgot to mention, the last days I'm on another Site of our society and it seems that some users more have this problem here.

At the beginning we had some problems with rogue KMS hosts (clients installed with the wrong key, and then they began to behave like a KMS host), but this has been fixed.

I see activation all requests come to the KMS host.

Someone at - it an idea?

    Kind regards

    Mario

With luck, validate the installation using Internet Explorer to www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate simply deletes this error and the machine turns real new.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

    Thank you very much

The installed product key is a license key from the KMS Volume - valid ONLY within the network of the issuing organization, and requires periodic reactivation at the level KMS servers in the organization.

There is no sign that this machine is connected to a network of business or organization.

Where did you get this installation of Windows 7 Enterprise? (which is itself only a Volume License edition)?

If this is your school or work, contact the system administrator for assistance.

If you have purchased this installation - it is wrong.

... Oh - and it installed Office 2007 Enterprise is definitely fake!

  • Windows is authentic but said copy of Windows is not genuine

I have of course my copy of windows is genuine, I paid the school buy the laptop for us students. In recent weeks, I got my motherboard replaced by Acer technicians because I kept BSOD problems. And after I got it back I start to see windows 7 build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine. I can let the teacher IT to recreate the image on the laptop to solve this problem, but I got all my files inside, so I don't really want to.

He is currently using a Volume License KMS client.

Based on your report, you are currently using KMS license that requires that you enable with a KMS host. This is normally configured by an IT Department in a company to manage activations of clients on a network. This should be done every 6 months (180 days).

If the school is a license for Windows 7 Enterprise, you can try to join the domain and see if she wakes. Its possible to repair ship installed a non-genuine Windows 7 license Enterprise or trial that uses a KMS host that is illegal. So your best optio is likely to have reimagee using the standard image of schools which may contain important apps you need as an office.

  • Virtual switches

    Hello

Are an essential component of the model of infrastructure VMWare virtual switches? I think forbidding them to my enterprise architecture and I would like to know what I lose. I know I'll win a simple deployment architecture and at least have a chance to be able to identify the biz application to physical hardware dependencies, but I'm sure I'll lose something.

    Hope someone can help me.

    see you soon

    Tim

    Hello

I have security concerns around integrity and availability (definition of security as the confidentiality, integrity, availability), and maybe the link meets these concerns.

It should, but I'm not sure your exact concerns.

In case it doesn't, I want to reduce the complexity here - I seems to be part of the network inside a host computer configuration - this will increase my cost and the risk of a bad configuration a lot.

Not really. You can watch is no longer the 'system' so much that host, but when ESX is installed it is a hybrid computing, network, storage device. This view of ESX will help you see the system better. Remember that a physical NETWORK adapter is just a uplink with ESX port that is installed on the host computer.

I spent these last years are measuring how good companies to understand how their business applications relate to their server and network infrastructure. It's not pretty. There is very good reason that it is not pretty, but more complex than necessary is the last thing I want to let teams design because, over time, the design assumptions will be broken in the implementation and implementation teams will understand not the design goals.

You're right, but trying to force something on virtualization which can not happen physically is also a possibility for poor design.

I'll stop pontificating from a position of ignorance of the product now and fill you in on what he does.

    This is the best approach.

Do you know if there is a design document that justifies this design which is available worldwide?

ESX, network, who precisely? I'm not pointing to a few blogs that I wrote that covers security in detail as well as virtual networks in detail. These should help you.

    Best regards

  • Not able to connect the earpiece/headset Bluetooth for Wndows 7 Enterprise (64-bit)

I tried to connect a new Bluetooth headset to my laptop Lenovo T420.

The laptop runs on Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (64 bit OS).

The laptop has built-in Bluetooth adapter and I turned on.

Also, I went ON my helmet and guarded in discovery mode.

After that, I added the helmet using the button 'Add a device' from the control panel-> devices and printers.

Windows 7 installed the drivers required and the headset is successfully added.

Now, I tried to connect to the headset using Bluetooth configuration dialog window.

I did a right click on the icon of headset to Panel-> devices and printers.

The right click is not display the option 'control' for the headphones.

He showed that other options - "Create a shortcut", "Troubleshooting", "Remove the instrument", "Properties".

So, I won't be able to connect my Bluetooth headset.

I tried the same helmet on my friend's laptop computer.

His laptop is running on Windows 7 Home Edition (32 bit OS).

The connected properly Bluetooth headset and the option 'control' is also available on the right click.

The 'control' option provided the Bluetooth configuration dialog window where I can use the "connect" button to connect the headset.

Kindly let me know the resolution of the issue.

If your computer has built-in Bluetooth features, you can enable or disable the functions by pressing on Fn + F5. If you press Fn + F5, a list of the wireless features is displayed in the window Radio wireless.
