Action/effect of defect in an action game in PSE5

I have a set of Photoshop scripts that contains a 'main' action that performs some features and call a bunch of actions 'sub '. The main action is listed first in the game and is automatically included as the default action and runs correctly when it is installed in PSE6, PSE7 & PSE8 and also works as expected in a German version of PSE5, but in an English version of PSE5, somehow that the second action (IE a 'sub' action) is running rather than the first. Is it possible to configure the default action or force PSE5 to recognize the first action as the action to perform? If this is not the case, is anyone know what PSE algorithm uses to determine the action to execute? The action being performed is not prime (or the last) in alphabetical order, nor place first (or last) in all of the action. Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This example can work for all versions.

I never thought to put actions outside the subfolders.

I'll have to remember that one.

It seems that pse5 is the odd man out when it comes to actions.

In any case, I hope that you can get all this worked.

  • Has anyone created a script opened on that charge action games?

    I still get tired, with Illustrator do not remember running a script in the scripts menu, after that Illustrator is closed. Whenever I open it I need to run a script, and then reload recorded actions so that I can use my scripts easier.

    If someone created a script that runs at startup of illustrator, runs a menu script, and then recorded actions loads? If not, anyone know if this is possible, as I will probably create.

    I had the following approach.

    You should always run a script, but now you have to do it once and also rely on some folders inside your folder My Documents.

    Re: Action: "Insert a Menu item" Script still not save CS6

    You can probably do an auto-hotkey or Applescript to show the file menu if, and I'm pretty lazy / do not use a lot of actions with scripts, where reloading only in this way is tolerable.

    What about a simple conditional that determines whether to execute the action?

    var valid = true;

    If (app.documents.length > {0})

    app.doScript ('Create The File", (the set name));

    }

    else {}

    Alert ("No Document Open!");

    valid = false;

    }

    if(valid && App.activeDocument.Saved) {}

    app.doScript ("Run The Rest of the Action", (the set name));

    }

    ElseIf (valid &! app.activeDocument.saved) {}

    Alert ("save your document!");

    }

    I agree that this would be better done through JS. But it is a simple solution that bypasses the inability of measures to use conditional statements.

  • Writing problems of action games with adjustment layers

    When I write an action that includes adjustment with Photoshop CC 2014 adjustments layers will add the layer, but don't include my settings. I have to go back to CS6 and write my adjustment layer actions if I want to save my settings as well. Make one - 10 red color are moving to correct for the sake of a red camera is much easier on the 300 files if you can automate it.

    If someone has encountered this problem and how solve you this problem if you could?

    This is the overview of my computer and I have 2 drives scratch dedicated for a total of 500gbs between them two more records that are for the archives too, but manage overflow then the primary drive which has 750gbs an another free Photoshop the judge that necessary if.

  • Action game for a menu

    Hello everyone, I have a problem to set up action for a JavaFX menu root.

    I tried the following snippet is unsuccessful:
    @FXML
    private MenuBar mainNavBar = new MenuBar();

    final Menu menu = new Menu("My Menu");
    menu.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {

         @Override
         public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
            // Doesn't go into this method on click of the menu
            System.out.println("Inside On Action!!!");
         }
    });
    menu.addEventHandler(MouseEvent.MOUSE_CLICKED, new EventHandler<MouseEvent>() {

        @Override
        public void handle(MouseEvent e) {
            // Doesn't go into this method on click of the menu
            System.out.println("Inside Event Handler");
        }
    });
    mainNavBar.getMenus().add(menu);
    However, the following code works if I add a menuItem:
    @FXML
    private MenuBar mainNavBar = new MenuBar();

    final Menu menu = new Menu("My Menu");
    final MenuItem menuItem = new MenuItem("My Item");
    menuItem.setOnAction(new EventHandler<ActionEvent>() {

         @Override
         public void handle(ActionEvent event) {
            // GOES into this method on click of the menu item 'My Item'
            System.out.println("Inside On Action!!!");
         }
    });
    menu.getItems().add(menuItem);
    mainNavBar.getMenus().add(menu);
    So, is there a way to make this work without adding the item menu in the menu that I have some menus such as help, on, etc., which does not have a menu item.

    Any help to fix this would be appreciated. BTW I use "JavaFX SDK 2.2" and "JavaFX Runtime 2.2"

    Thank you.

    Well, it looks like there is no way to capture a click on a Menu event, however, because whenever you click Top doesn't show her children, I believe that the code below may help you:

    menuAdm.showingProperty().addListener(new ChangeListener() {
         @Override
         public void changed(ObservableValue observableValue, Boolean oldValue, Boolean newValue)
         {
              if(newValue.booleanValue())
                   System.out.println("Showing|Clicked");
              else
                   System.out.println("Not showing|Clicked again");
         }

    });

  • Problem of Windows with Action Scripts run from a Panel

    I created a panel that has shortcuts for Menu items and tools. I have also two buttons on my slab that run scripts that were created with Actions. I tested these two scripts with the ExtendScript Toolkit for both Mac and windows.

    Both scripts do not run on some computers in the window, but they do on others. It seems that the problem more with 7 of the window then in any other operating system, but it is not universal.

    I am at a loss on how to get hurt this problem. Machine window 7, I'm testing on runs the script without any problems, but some users of my panels have the problem above.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance - Sam

    Action handler code looks like it's a step to play a shadow of action which lies in a defined action named SmileixPix.

    If you added that action shadow action value saved SmilePix the action defined and distributed the action defined in the package.

    If users have an action set SmilePix and you loaded the update action defined as a part of you install. Users can end up with two responsible actions named sets SmilePix one containing the action of the shadow and the other without the Sdade action.  I don't know what would happen if your panels has been used and there was a prior action set SmilePix which is not the action of the shadow.  Make sure that defective computers do not list Action Games named SmilePix twon

  • How do dynamic actions using work to set the value in all browsers?

    I'm having a problem of incompatibility between browsers with dynamic actions to help to set the value.  Dynamic action works like a charm on Chrome but has no effect on IE or Firefox.  The code in oracle.apex.com and here are the credentials:

    Workspace: DDBA

    Username: [email protected]

    Password: redtruck12

    These codes is on page 3 and here are the details:

    There are two lists of report (Standard and special) and some reports require additional information provided in the lists of selection or text boxes.

    If the user selects a report select Standard requiring a list/text box, then the dynamic action sets the value of the special reports to NULL (and vice versa).

    Dynamic action is to prevent a simultaneous Standard reports and special selection.  To see how it works on Chrome, follow these steps:

    1. Run the Page 3
    2. Select the "Search report" option in the list Report Standard .  A text 'Search criteria' box
    3. Select the option 'Release report' in the list of special reports .  A selection list appears and disappears from the text box 'search criteria '.

    If you do the same on IE or Firefox, the text box does not disappear.

    Hi Edward,.

    Please check page 4 of your app, I made a copy of your page and made a few changes:

    I have set up an example of dynamic action 1 this hanles the report and special report selection list.

    Dynamic action games, select the value of the selection list and he accompanies in detail the report lists to null and then submits the page.

    For this I have deleted the page submit events to the time the report and special report select lists. Instead I handed them a HTML class. The dynamic action is triggered by a change of this category of html.

    When the trigger is the report selection list, select special report is set to null. Also underlying selection sub lists are set to null.

    When the trigger is the special report selection list, the selection of the report is set to null. Also underlying selection sub lists are set to null.

    The two end of the action with a "Send" page to manage the show and hide appropriate items. Note that there is a lag in time due to the submission of the page. As I have suggested, it would be treated better by a refresh of the region. On the other hand you depend on now submit for the continuation of the treatment of your page. With the help of an update of the region would require a work more javascript and cost more redisgn of your page. If you need IE8 support, additional javsascript likely to cause other unexpected behaviors. In other words, a page is maybe in your case probably better then an update of the region after all.

    I checked this page 4, Chrome, Firefox and IE (latest version) and I get the same behavior in all browsers.

    Kind regards

  • How to play all the actions with a single click

    Help, please

    The first action that a defined action play than the rest of the actions in this action the value he plays all actions. This would require a Photoshop script to retrieve all loaded action games and do the action of each. Why would you perform actions at random.

    As the first action in the game was the last action recorded in the whole of the action. Started with a snapshot of brand named normal and then select which snapshot then play the next action in the game, select the snapshot normal and play the next action is repeated until the rest of the action in the game have been played. Then a stop message appears.  The other actions in the game to make a group add their effects and make a snapshot.  If you uncheck the stop step you could same batch of this action, the judgment would stop the batch.

    Just expand the actions and measures and read the steps. Actions are easy to record and edit. The range of action is an action editor full function. You can simple step and change at the same time.  Action of reading is a good way to learn how to use Photoshop and you'll know that if an action will destroy the work that you have gifts on a document like flatten you work.

  • What is toggle the State of all controls in action?

    Unchecking an action brings up a box of 'it will toggle the status of all orders in this action, it is not feasible.  I unfortunately de-activted action by unchecking it.  What is this feature and why is it not somehow reversible?  Thank you

    This message occurs only when you click the checkbox on the left of a name of the name of action game action.  It's probably something you don't want to. It a warning message. It can not be canceled automatically.

  • Where's my actions?

    Whenever my computer shuts down, I lose what I have created. So I go back and rebuild, but next time I stop, when I seek in the Palace of actions, they are not there. Help!  I need to get off this merry-go-round! Why it does this and where in the hell did they go?

    Thanks for the update.

    Once you have created an action, create an action game > click on the fly on the menu at the top right of the Panel shares > choose Save action > save as action under the C:\Users\UserName\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Actions

    You can also copy and paste other third party actions (.atn files) in the same place outside of Photoshop so that Photoshop can read measures directly from there.

    Once done, restart the machine and check if the actions to keep.

    Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • Isolate a selected group in Action recorded

    I think that the title does a good job explaining what I'm trying to do: I record a set of actions, and I need to isolate a group selected in the middle of this action game. However, making that the action creates the event in recorded stock list...

    How do I get there?

    Thank you

    I modified your action (Neutral Axis-red Plot) a little. It requires a Mode of insulation.

    It is recommended to choose "Step by step" in the playback Options (see the Actions palette menu).

    How to use the action: first select the small area on the left side, and then launch the action.

    Have a go.

  • Action Wizard: options when saving PDF are not exported

    Hi all.

    I recently stumbled on something that my colleagues and I are confused of: we created some actions in Acrobat (Windows 7, Version (classic) 2015 2015.006.30060) DC and the last step in these actions is 'save the document. One who creates action games all the optimizings in the save pdf dialogue and is forced to save these settings - a dialog box appears to provide a name.

    This definition is not exported when you export all the action it is not exportable in the dialogue when you change the setting.

    How can we share these settings in our society without to set it manually on each computer?

    Any suggestions are welcome

    Best

    Dietmar

    Do you mean that you want to copy custom PDF Optimization settings, you have saved on another computer?

    If so, you should find them in this folder:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\\Preferences\PDF Optimizer

  • Insert 'Play action' in the Actions Panel

    Hi guys... I found some actions (.aia) but I saw someone

    inserted a new action to play another action.

    Looks like using "doScript" but I Don t know how to add 'Action game '.

    in the "Action panel" to play another action in a new set.

    How would I do that?

    Thanks a lot for your time!

    You can see the picture.

    3.jpg

    You save by playing an action when an action recording.

    This is done through the registration of all action and play action in the Panel while recording actions.

  • Actions in Photoshop CC

    How can you access your actions on different computers by using the creative cloud? Or is it possible?

    Synchronization is working between the same versions of Photoshop and synchronizes only your responsible actions that are stored in your preferences Photoshop action palette file...

    IF you create modules Photoshop Actions, Scripts, brushes, patterns, shapes and so on. You should save all your own add-on files that you create outside of everything Adobe.  So you know where they are and will not lose them. As if you install a new version of Photoshop such as Photoshop CC 2015. Adobe may exterminates all the earlier versions of Photoshop, etc.  You may lose something. Adobe uninstall procedures gave me a lot of grief over the years. I no longer use the. I manually remove the old version of Photoshop and remove registry entries to uninstall Adobe.

    You can share your Photoshop resources on your network and load them into any version of Photoshop, as long as you know where you keep you own assets of Photoshop. I have a link versions of Photoshop to my trees of Plug-ins and my Script tree.  All Photoshop versions share these only one copy of these assets must be maintained.

    However something else like brushes, patterns, actions etc need to be loaded in each version of Photoshop, Adobes of synchronization is not a good solution unless you keep all your modules loaded in all versions of Photoshop in the synchronizations of Adobe files. Keeping any charge is not practical. Menu and pallets as the palette of action become big and unusable.  If I had to load each action game I created and expand their range of action Photoshop can not yet contain any list.  Feature of Photoshop have limits.  Layers palette can handle 8000 layers.  However with other features of limit can be surprisingly low.  For example Photoshop only supports up to 53 alpha channels.

    Adobe does not synchronize or even migrate third-party plug-ins.  It is best to know where are your Photoshop modules and maintained outside any Adobe folder.
