I hung up on them, I told them ok and they gave me the password so that I could type in my credit card information. I copied the password with no intention of giving them my credit card information and hung up the phone.  All of a sudden I restarted my computer closing down and when I was invited again the administrative password they used to crash my computer.  I used and was able to get on my computer.  I'm afraid they're watching my system everytime I connect so I erased all my personal files and information. My question is how can I take that block off of my computer?

• Has anyone seen a fax USB modem that works with Windows Fax and Scan?

  So far I'm 0 for 2.  PC Fax modems seem to be a lost art.  A few months ago, I tried a USB fax modem and tested the receipt of the fax.  The modem answers the phone, the fax sender starts the transmission and... nothing happens.  Eventually, the sender times out with an error.   Same computer, same Windows Fax and Scan software, with an old modem connected to a serial port, all works well.  Modem manufacturer was not able to help.

  And now the same problem with another PC, the modem is different, different situation.  This time I don't have an easy fallback to a serial port.

  And that leads to my question - no matter that matter where in fact seen a fax-modem USB in the field send and receive faxes using Windows Fax and Scan on Windows 7, and if yes, what was the make and model?

  I have a folder on my computer which has automatically downloaded image files periodically. I would like to have a script in photoshop that can batch process them automatically and then move them out of the folder so that they are not treated again - but I just wanted to know if it was common or even possible.   Some weird results

  Initially, I used your method of single line, since the first example you gave, to try to open programs. It would open a single program and then hang. If I closed this program it will open the next and hang.  If I closed it program would open the next and hang, etc. - it only opened one at a time.

  Then I used the cd "method of C:\Pathname and got the same results: open and hang, close, open and crash, close, etc..".

  Then in the first entry

  I've added the /d and everything as it should - programs and files open. That's why I stuck as the final.

  Using your method to explore start/wait worked if I used it in the form of lots to open folders only - no program.

  I had to add 'ping google.com/n 2'after launch 'E:\Project Films pending Edit' Explorer or it would still be to Exchange places with the multimedia folder. I have no idea why. But it worked and after having messed with it for a few hours now, I am satisfied. However not the elegant be!

• How to save a copy of Windows XP that has been created by an image?

  I used 'Image for Linux' to create an image of a PC with Windows XP, SP3.  With that done, I can copy the image to a new PC and it works fine (assuming that I stay within the limits of the PC HAL).

  My problem is that I don't have to enter a new key of Windows XP when I installed the image on another PC. for example, I use a license of Windows XP on two PCs.  Since I want to be legitimate on my software license, I tried to activate Windows XP license to new PC - but the computer says that the license is already activated.  So it is logical that the new PC would react like that - I put the picture of an activated copy of Windows on a new PC, the new copy of Windows must also think that it is enabled.

  All this brings me to my original question: how to save a copy of Windows XP that has been created by an image?

  (1) what is the file format of the photos on the CD?

  (2) you are able to play another CD/DVD on this computer?

  (3) have you made recent changes to the computer before the show?

  (4) is it a Blu - ray disc?

   

  Install the codec for Blu - Ray. Your Blu - ray player should have come with a medium containing the codec. You can also use your favorite search engine and free research Blu - ray codec.
  The Blu - ray disc format is not supported in Windows Media Player. To play a Blu - ray disc, you must use a non-Microsoft program that supports Blu - ray playback and a device that can play Blu - ray discs.

  If you have a program that supports Blu - ray, then I suggest you to use the Troubleshoot utility and check for the issue.
