  • How to activate Windows 7 Starter 32 bit on my HP mini 110-3700 series netbook computer?

    Hello Microsoft community.

I want to install new SSD in my HP mini 110-3700 Netbook but don't want cloning. I already went through this article and the response of Mr. André Da Costa. It seems very useful to me, thanks.

I just want to know after the installation can I activate this with assistance from the product key that came with my netbook? and what is the purpose to edit the ei.cfg file when I already have the product key free with my Netbook?

    Thanks for reading. Help, please.

The ei.cfg file determines which edition of Windows 7 is available on the support of that installation from, rather than display several editions during installation.

We have made no changes to our computer that runs windows XP suddenly when we start it says we have 3 days to re-activate windows because of major changes to the system.  We have not changed.  What's the deal, our copy is valid and has been for years.

How our copy of windows valid suddenly become invalid?
Is it possible that some programs of virus/spy stole our code systems disconnected from our system to make our windows inactivated?  I didn't know how it would be possible, just try to guess.  What should we do? reactivate? Call and have our system enabled somehow?

Could be a Windows update that caused the problem, try to activate the phone.

  • I need a link for windows 7 starter 32 bit X 16-96078

    I need a link for windows 7 starter 32 bit X 16-96078. If possible!

    Hello

HP do not offer a download for the recovery media option, but there are two options available.

    1. you can order a set of replacement of the recovery media using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

2 you can use the following method to create your own Windows 7 Starter 32-bit installation media.

Before you try the following, make sure that you can still read all the key character product activation 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

An example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can create Windows 7 installation yourself using another PC. However, it not there no download directly available for Windows 7 Starter, so you'll need to download another version (one will do, but the link below is for Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit - the source of the image is Digital River).

    Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit SP1.

For the key on your label of COA to work, you must now use the method described in the following link to convert this ISO to an all-version Installer - the section that require you to edit the ISO is Step 1 DVD universal (although you will create an installer from usb, the method to change the ISO is the same).

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/85813-Windows-7-universal-installation-disc-create.html

Once done, use an application like Rufus to create a bootable Windows 7 usb flash drive.

Use the Flash drive to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA in the request and one time Setup is complete, use the 'method of phone", described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system - this method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

  • The upgrade from Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Professional

My question is simply this. If I use Windows Anytime Upgrade can I use my product key for my upgrade retail box when it asks for the product key?  Because windows does not have a product until the key after installation I don't want to go all the way at the end of installation to find out that the product key is not going to work. Any help would be greatly appeciated.  Thank you

Cannot download the drivers to activate Windows

I spent two days now trying to get a computer at work, I've built. I use new parts other than my used hard drive previously. I was not able to install the drivers for my network so I'm stuck right with the activation screen when I connect. If I do not activate and then I get kicked out and have to log in again. I cannot connect to the network to turn on obviouly and when I call them they say my ID intillation in does not correct and they don't recognize it as a valid product. I then remove my hard drive and put it back in the old machine and as if by magic, it works fine after activation. How am I supposed to install my drivers so I can activate if I can't go to my screen to install? This is the second time that this happens, and I really not prefer to buy a new windows disk for something that already works.

  • Try to activate Windows XP, but it does not generate an installation ID to activate it?

    Hello
I'm trying to legitimately re - install XP pro on a build machine that is free because of various programs such as IE and AVG works don't not after a period not being don't not under tension.
I deleted the partition via the disc to install and re-installed, but then the activation it would not go online so I'll have to do the option "Activate Windows by phone".
Unfortunately, it does not generate an installation ID and so I can't enter a confirmation ID.
Of course the help line have been extremely useful and intuitive, and so I wore the recommended feeding cycle, but nothing helped.
I also tried to change the product key but it's the same. Just a space where the installation ID should be.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
    Thank you
    John

    original title: no installation id

Here are the appropriate measures on how to solve this problem:

    (1) download windows xp service pack 3 from a work computer and save it on a USB flash drive

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=24

    (2) start the computer xp in "SafeMode only.

    (3) install the SP3 that you saved on the usb to the computer flash drive

    (4) restart the computer in "normal mode" and now you have an installation ID

  • Repaired XP installation, cannot run the application "activate windows".

I had to repair my installation of windows after an HD program, then the system was forcing me to activate before login, but activation would never wear a screen. relieved of this issue by the
    Rundll32.exe syssetup, SetupOobeBnk
command. I can not connect, but now "activate Windows" does not work.

I have the OEM product key, he agreed during the repair. but I'm not able to activate windows and not be able to use any software for MS, although most of the other programs seem to work.

The yellow warning for non-activated windows box pops up again, but this time when I clicked, firefox open with a validation page. (previous clicks on the notification did nothing).  The page directed me to install the validation plugin. Once loaded, it could not get anything.

The page contained a third option to download an alternative method. I download and it could not activate my installation of XP as well, but would allow me to buy Windows 7.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/GenerateHTA.aspx?displaylang=en&error=1&PartnerID=107&page=validate

But now MSIE worked (it worked before) so I tried the link activate Windows on the start menu, and it was successfully launched. My windows is now activated and able to download updates.
