Activation of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Windows 7 Ultimate bought while living in the UAE in 2009. The 32-bit version on my machine without problem. Returned to England in 2011 and still OK. Changed my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit windows. Tried to activate it, but he told me that I can't because I'm in the wrong place. Can you help me? It is an authentic product introduced and paid for and used only on this machine. Why can I not I activate it?

It is a restriction of Geo Block on the activation of the product. You will need to use the phone activation:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

(2) press the ENTER"" key.

(3) select your "country" in the list.

(4) choose the option "activate phone".

(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

    Hi Jarska,

    ·        You did changes to the computer recently before the issue started?

    ·        If your computer came pre-installed with Windows Vista, or you don't have it installed separately?

You receive this error 0xC004E003 when the Software Licensing Service reported that license evaluation failed on your computer. You can access the link below and follow the steps in method C and check if that helps you solve the problem of activation. If the C method does not work, you can follow the steps in method G and try activation using the automated phone system.

  • asghost.exe uses 50% of CPU / ProtectTools getting stuck / on 8710w / Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

    Hello world.

I've been struggling with this problem for two days - google searched everything I could, the forum & relocated basically all once or twice, including the entire operating system...

So here goes the description, I hope that someone - including the people (!) official HP - can help out me...

    1.

As soon as I get home from Windows (such as Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit mentionted), asghost.exe process starts with about 50% of the CPU and does not stop... unless I kill the process (as an administrator)

    2.

Also when I run upward my HP ProtectTools Security Manager (the most recent version 4.10.10.3), it stuck at "Loading security providers"... once again, I have to kill the process. It is impossible to run the Security Manager.

This all started when I installed the 64 bit version of Windows 7 (my extra RAM needed), before I had the 32-bit and nothing of the sort was bad...

So I guess that (as in this thread) that it is linked with the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate... and it may start happening to a lot of people...

It's my work, laptop and I've exhausted all my free time to solve this problem, now I'm starting to really need to work , so...

DOES ANYONE HAVE A SOLUTION FOR THIS?

Also, I have to admit that I don't know I have install the software of safety (from here) in the right order...

Is it perhaps an 'ORDER' (not provided by HP)?

    ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

    Thanks in advance to all

    Your

    Hello

asghost.exe is a process belonging to Credential Manager which is part of HP ProtectTools Manager.

First of all, we need to uninstall some programs from your system. To do this, you will need to have the installer of HP ProtectTools Security Manager Suite here4.10.10.3. Unzip it with WinRaror 7-Zip (free) .

    Go to the paths:

    • ...\sp44868\PTAC\AC620X64 - active client and file to run AC620x64.exe it. Select remove/uninstall.
    • ...\sp44868\PTCRM - credential Manager and run setup.exe file here. Select remove/uninstall.
    • ...\sp44868\PTFPDRV\x64 - fingerprint driver and run the file AT8Min.exe it. Select remove/uninstall.
    • ...\sp44868\PTFVE\x64 - drive Encryption and file to run HpClient64.exe it. Select remove/uninstall.
    • ...\sp44868\PTJSC - Java Card and file to run PTJSC.exe it. Select remove/uninstall.
    • ...\sp44868\PTHST\Disk1 - HP ProtectTools Manager and run pthst.exe file there. Select remove/uninstall.

    Install the latest version:

HP ProtectTools Manager here (ver. 4.10.17.1)

    Note:

If you wish, you can extract this file and choose what you want to install. Of course the first thing you'll need to install is always PTHST.

This is how I solved the same problem on my model 8510w with Windows 7 32 bit. I hope this will solve your problem too.

  • NO sound when recording Audio - problems with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I got in trouble for almost a year now with NO sound when recording Audio with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I just found this forum today. It's really weird how recording with windows and other sound recorder works perfectly since 1998 or so until the upgrade to win 7. Now every time I try to record it shows no found recording device or just fails to record any sound. As you'll see below I have activated What U Hear so I can use the system recording features sounds.

I use the functions of audio recording and pdf reader because I'm legally blind. It is one of the few tools that I could use with ease on all my systems windows for many years.

A similar question has started happening with nvidia graphics cards. AND... I was led to believe that it was a problem with Sony wanting more strong piracy measures built into windows. Am I correct to assume that this is what is happening with the sound also today or is there a solution to this frustrating problem?

I run a dxdiag & posted that, according to me, you asked another user on the forum, the same or similar problem.

Help solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as this has been a problem for quite a while now.

  • Hello, I currently windows 7 Home premium 64-bit running on my laptop, can I install windows 7 ultimate 32 bit over this as an upgrade? I have the ultimate disc then, how do I use it? Thank you, Mark.

I am running windows 7 Home premium 64 bit on my laptop. I have a disc of windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, is it possible to upgrade to the ultimate disk, if so, how, if not how do I use the ultimate disc? Thank you very much, Mark.

No, you can't, but if its Windows 7 Ultimate you want, simply use the Windows 7 Ultimate product key to upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate using Anytime Upgrade.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

Cases of failure to upgrade Express:

    Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade fails:

If your getting the following: error: Windows Anytime Upgrade failed
This problem may occur if Windows 7 SP1 was downloaded by Windows Update, but has not yet been installed.
    See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2660811

= Other reasons and possible corrections.

Windows Anytime Upgrade fails with the error:
"every time that the upgrade has failed. Go online to solve the problem.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2658652

If Anytime Upgrade still does not work:

Shut down and restart your computer.

Make sure that the Windows updates have been installed.

Download the hotfix that contains a tool called CheckSUR, this tool will look at the package and the maintenance of records and difficulty any data corrupted, the tool is listed under kb947821 he can be found at the following link http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=947821

If Anytime Upgrade still does not work, turn off the user account control:

    1. go in user accounts in Control Panel

2 change user account control settings

    3. pull the slider to the level as low as possible

    4. restart the PC

    5. pass by the "Anytime Upgrade" as usual

    Try the following:

1 disable any security software before attempting to upgrade

    2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)

    3. disconnect all external devices before installing.

    4. check your hard disk for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    User account control permission

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

I get an error 0xC004E003 code when I try to activate windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, someone knows how to fix?, have read and tried everything what others had said to others who have the same problem and nothing

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20080909000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in 2009, the date of your BIOS says 2008, which means probably that your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:
    Windows product key: *-* - YG69F - 9M66D-PMJBM

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

  • Load the driver - A required CD/DVD drive driver is missing - Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (retail DVD)

I tried to install fresh version for windows 7 ultimate 64-bit (pls do not recommend 32 bits, as 64-bit support is the main reason for me to upgrade to win7) on my pc at home and Setup request additional driver. I've seen similar problems in other forum threads, but answer doesn't really help me.

    My HW configuration is:
MSI P35 Platinum Q6600 + 4 GB RAM + some discs hard SATA + NVIDIA 9800 GTX GeForse,.

I downloaded all the latest drivers from MSI site. I even managed to extract the drivers, which require installation (for example, all the INF drivers, etc.). However, the windows setup program rejects all drivers (it allows to select the driver, but throwing the message "no new driver not found" after I press the button 'Next').

Here is summary of my biggest frustration:
    1. why the installer of Windows 7 rejects all latest drivers?
    2. why Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor is saying that all devices on my computer Windows 7 compatible (64-bit report)
    3. why the installer of Windows 7 DO NOT LISTED THAT REQUIRES NEW DRIVER DEVICE! ???
    4. If Microsoft intends to perform QA on its customers, I want to get my fees!

    Thanks in advance.

Finally! I managed to install Windows 7!

    Here is my solution:

    1. I made a flash installation drive (more details here: http://www.blogsdna.com/2016/how-to-install-windows-7-from-usb-drive-without-windows-7-iso-dvd.htm, there is a small error in the description - "mbrwiz /disk = X/Active = X" should be replaced by "mbrwiz /disk = X/active = 1")

2A tried to boot from my flash drive and it didn't fly (black screen with blinking cursor, no installer)

    3. I booted from CD (with inserted flash drive) and... TA-DA! Automatically Setup detects my USB and picks up the files for installing it!

    4. now, I'm stuck at installing critical updates and optional, but it is another story...

    Good luck with installation!

PS recommendation to Microsoft - include flash drive read-only with the installation files in the packaging of the retail of Windows 7! It really helps!

  • How to change Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit to 64 bit with no disc?

I've upgraded Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit to 32 bit Ultimate.  I want to do a custom 64-bit Setup, but does not.  Now that I've upgraded to Ultimate 32 bit how can I change to 64-bit?  My upgrade was merely a box with an activation key, no disc not provided.  Upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Vista buying and don't download from MS Store so no original or the other disk.  Thanks for any help!

You must have the disk to do a clean custom install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Contact the Microsoft Store for a replacement disk:

    http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7install/thread/fb8230d4-000F-4ee7-b732-c9f8fff28bfd

You will need to do a clean install, there is no place on the way to upgrade Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the applications needed.

  • Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit to 64 bit?

Doing some research, I found that a 32-bit license can be used to install a 64-bit Win7 image, however, I have a bit of a unique situation I'd like to help the community to determine with certainty.

So here's my situation. While I was a student at the University, the bookstore selling copies of windows 7 32 bit for $7. The licenses could be used on 3 systems, so I installed a copy on my desktop and 2 laptop. I don't know if this would be considered a "detail" or "OEM" licenses, so help thinking that out would be great. Also, the disk that it does not say that it is a 32-bit version of 'upgrade', however, I used to do complete installs of Windows on these 3 computers.
Recently, I entered the recording of music and the need to come to my office to a 32-bit install on a 64-bit. I'm not able to go buy a new copy of Windows 7, so I'm being downloaded a disk image of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit which I hope my permit 32-bit from the disk called "upgrade" can be used to activate a 64 bit version of the operating system.
So, if anyone has information about how I can deactivate the license on the computer I have to reinstall Windows on so that I can use it to activate the 64-bit install would be great.
    Thanks for the help.

Just install the copy of 64-bit on the machine with the existing product key. You will need to ensure that it is withdrawn from the other machine in which it is installed. You will need to reactivate by phone:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • How can I clean installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit using a upgrade disc?

    Originally, I had a Windows Vista 64 - bit o/s office.

I decided to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit o/s

The first time I ran this 'upgrade', I made the mistake of selecting the option UPGRADE instead of using the CUSTOM option.

For some time since I've done the 'upgrade' I got BSOD problems including caused by video and WebCam drivers.

This is why last week, I took the plunge and decided to reinstall Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit using my UPGRADE disc (the disc is not FULL version)

    I selected CUSTOM

I saw, I had two partitions:

    Disk 0 Partition 1: Win_RE

    Disk 0 Partition 2: CDrive (c :))

I couldn't find an option to delete my partitions and perform a new installation.

I ran this and finished installing fine but did not format my drive and it change named my windows to windows.old. Things seem to be ok on my PC, now that I've done this, and I don't take BSoD right now.

However, I was told that I should be able to achieve a COMPLETE clean install delete partitions to force the OS to reformat and recreate the C: partition.

    The menu:

    Discount

Load the driver (I have no idea what is this option)

To make changes to partitions, restart Windows from the installation disc

I could not click on an option to delete/reformat my partitions and thus abandoned the process.

I then let the disc (forgive my ignorance) and restarted the PC. I dropped in the BIOS and set to boot from the DVD drive.

This did not do anything to bring up the WINDOWS SETUP option. It would simply start Windows after that, I suspect, he couldn't find the exe file to start.

Thus, while everything seems to work fine, I'm frustrated that I can't run a clean full install like what I'm doing doesn't work.

If someone is able to give me advice on how I can get the installation routine to show this option which would be more useful.

If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. No previous required software installation, which means you can do a clean install with Windows 7 Upgrade disk.

How to do a clean install with upgrade disc:

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD

    Click Install now

    Accept the license agreement

When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

    Click on drive Options

Select the disc/s click on Delete

    Click new

    Click on apply

    Click OK

Click Format, and then click next to proceed with the installation

Skip entering your product key Windows 7 and complete the installation.

When you reach the desktop, click Start, right-click on computer

    Click on properties

Scroll down to the Windows Activation

Click the link x days before activation.

Click on the link that says: "show me other ways to activate.

    Enter the product key

    Click next

Select the Activation of the phone

Click Next when you enter your key page

    Select your country

Click Next, call the number listed

Be sure to explain your situation to the Appeals Officer.

Provide the installation generated when ID requested by the call agent

They give a confirmation ID in return, enter it

Click next to complete the activation.

However, the requirements for the media upgrade is that you have an operating system already eligible such as Windows XP or Vista installed to use it. Since the Windows 7 end user license agreement.

15 UPDATES. To use upgrade software, you must first be licensed for the software that is eligible for the upgrade. After the upgrade, this agreement takes the place of the agreement for the software that you upgraded. After upgrade, you can no longer use the software that you upgraded.

So, if you are always denied, you will just have to reinstall Windows XP or Vista and let it do the verification of eligibility.

  • 26 of Firefox crashes out of Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit.

No matter if I click on the red X, go to file-> exit or press Alt + F4 to exit Firefox under Windows Vista Ultimate 32 - bit. It almost always produces an error message that Firefox has stopped working.

I can't find how to post a JPEG Screenshot of the error here.

This will not occur under Windows XP Pro.

Otherwise, the browser works fine in a BONE.

Those are the two reports of the crash on Adobe Flash Player.

You can check for problems with the latest version of the Flash plugin and try these:

    • disable an eventual extension of the browser for Firefox Plugin RealPlayer Record and if installed RealPlayer update
    • Disable protected mode in the plugin Flash (Flash 11.3 + on Windows Vista and later versions)
    • turn off hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
  • 15 - ab098na: Pavilionm 15 Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit drivers Ethernet required

    Hello

I need the Ethernet drivers for my Pavilion Notebook running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit OS.

When I go to Device Manager I get the IDS of equipment as follows:

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_80B8103C & REV_07

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & SUBSYS_80B8103C

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & CC_020000

    PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 & CC_0200

Everything works fine, but no sign of the NIC, and I really need this to work. Please don't propose that I return to Windows 8 or 10 will never happen as long as I have breath in my body.

    Thank you

Excellent - all sorted, thank you very much

  • Tungsten T3 Hot Sync in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and WIndows XP mode

I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and now my Palm T3 will not be synchronized.  I downloaded desktop 4.1.4e 6.3 and 4.1.4. I tried all three in both windows 7 and windows XP mode that tells me is a 32-bit o/s but I'm really not sure.  I tried to hot sync in bluetooth in windows 7, as the T3 and laptop connect but he always tells me that the port is used by another program? Does anyone know what I have to do to get it to sync or am I've sentenced to throw my faithful T3 out? Any ideas?

Hello eaglesfan723 and welcome to the forums of Palm.

The Tungsten T3 HotSync driver is not 64-bit capable, this is why you can't get the T3 to HotSync.  Please read this thread to learn more about your options with Windows 7.

  • EliteBook 8470p: EliteBook 8470p USB 3.0 ports driver not installed in Window 7 Ultimate 32 bit

    Dear Sir.

I am facing problem in installing driver for USB 3.0 in EliteBook 8470p on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit Port. So please say if 32-bit is taken in charge or 64-bit supported for USB 3.0 driver.

its two USB 3.0 ports doesn't detect the USB 2.0/USB 3.0 or USB key (Flash DRIVE, portable, etc.)

    Please answer soon

    Hello:

The usb controller you model posted ID indicates that your laptop is not a p 8470, but a p 8460.

You need this driver usb 3 to this ID.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp54501-55000/sp54511.exe

The 8470p have the Intel USB3 controller and the 8460 p have the Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller.

That's why I finally asked for hardware ID, because if you had a 8470 p then or the other of these Intel drivers I posted should have worked.
