• Converter PDF Adobe shows as permanently offline

  I have Adobe Acrobat X installed as part of the CS5.5 Design Premium Suite.

  Last month, I started having trouble printing to the Adobe PDF Converter - it had always worked fine before. Arrested PDF files that appear and is queued in the queue to the top - the printer dialog is heade 'Adobe PDF Converter - use printer offline' and I can see my stacked documents here. Looking at the middle box, I see 'Use printer offline' is checked in the "printer" menu dropdown - I tried unchecking it but it have no effect - the tick remains resolutely. I tried the suspension & restart docs, without result.

  I can work around this in Word and Excel using the tab "create a PDF file. But disabled Firefox plug Adobe's PDF with its last update (thanks, Mozilla!) and Chrome produces just a preview print, where I select Adobe PDF converter like my printer. And Visio tells me that the printer is not on my system!

  Problem is I do all my banking online and fortunately used to back payments and received in PDF format, but now I can't.

  It's really frustrating and I hope someone has an answer! (hopefully without losing documents pending, but I guess it's unlikley)

  I am running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit on an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40 Ghz processor and 4 GB of RAM. I use Office Professional 2010 (although I wonder a lot these days, why I've updated)

  Try to remove the adobe PDF printer instance, then go to Acrobat and try to repair the installation.

  I bought lightroom CS6 in May and installed on my laptop without a problem. I have recently built a computer and unfortunately forgot to buy an ethernet cable, so it does not currently connect to the internet. Any ideas of how I can record?

  I have already downloaded and installed Adobe Design and Web Premium CS6.   If you really want to change the priority before then, you can use "license change low priority SSL_VPN" at the command prompt preferred to reduce the priority of low evaluation license, making it the active permanent license.

• WiFi lost with lid down

  Just bought a HP-15-G094SA laptop (laptop 15.6 "with Windows 8.1). Whenever I close the lid of the laptop, I lose the wifi connectivity.

  I checked the power settings to make sure that the wifi adapter is activated permanently. Also went to control panel-> network and sharing-> adapter change settings-> right click on wifi network connected-> properties-> configure-> management power - > uncheck allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

  None of these solved the problem.

  I would use the laptop with lid closed by this pluggin thanks to my TV via a HDMI cable, but cannot because of the loss of wifi.

  Because changing the power settings in the control panel menu has not resolved your problem, I recommend you load the drivers software and hardware of origin provided with your computer. This can be done by following this document on the use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8). To update the drivers newly installed, please follow this document using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8).

  If the WiFi radio disables always after closing the lid, I recommended to perform a backup and restore of your operating system.   I don't have A500 but A300 and I can't say with certainty why this and what kind of HARD drive activity is ongoing, but what you can try is to remove some pre-installed Toshiba stuff like TEMPRO or pre-installed application antivir.

  When the laptop is new days that many updates will be installed and in the background is always a certain activity. Automatic update is disabled?
  Try also to remove TEMPRO. This tool is active permanent and search for updates.
  Try to optimize the operating system preinstalled and carefully monitor if something will change. I always do after clean operating system installation.

When I print something - and I tried different programs - the document appears in the print queue, says it's printing, but nothing prints. If I restart my computer, the document will print until I connect. I tried stop the print spooler, but then couldn't do restart.  I looked at the printer using the HP Solution Center, and he says he's online.
