Actor framework automatic to produce actor

Hello

I'm starting to use the framework of the actor for a large application. I wonder if there is a way to auto generate a new actor?

I understand that I can auto generate messages for an actor using the tools-> actor framework Message Maker...

I am an actor by a new class of Labview to say:

Test Actor.lvclass

Then set the legacy of this class of Actor.lvclass

Do the Core.vi actor method

A method of writing waveform

Set the scope of the core player protected and other methods public (as the example Simple actor) and check the kernel reentrant actor

I do the structure EXACTLY like in the example Simple player, but I get the following errors in my new Core.vi of actor:

"Does not match this VI other screws in the method, terminal connector component (to the) are different." All the screws that implement a method of a class of LabVIEW must match Connector components. To fix this, compare connector pane of this VI and VI of an ancestor class that implements this method. »

and

"The owner of VI is not a dynamic member of a class of LabVIEW VI. The calling method Parent node must use a dynamic member of a class of LabVIEW VI. »

I tried to read in this post, but it seems that my part of connector is the name. I'm not sure of what continues.

(1) can someone show me what I'm doing wrong here?

(2) is there a way to auto generate the actor?

Whenever I try to build a player from scratch, I get the above errors. I have attached my project (LV2012).

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Create a "model project" (search the forums for this)

Try the latest SCM (GOOP Developer Suite - free for small projects)

You did not indicate the entry point 'Dynamic Dispatch' Actor.lvclass of Test.

You don't need to make the Core.vi player from scratch. After you create the class, then its parent as actor, right-click on your class and create VI for the substitution.

That's what the Setup log gives me after that windows is unable to install net framework 3.5 sp1. I sure would appreciate it if someone could help me solve this problem. I just bought this pc about 2 months ago and it's the first question that I lived with her. Thank you

To successfully install the update, uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework on the computer, and then reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework on the computer. You may need to work through more than one of the following methods.

Method 1: Manually remove and reinstall .NET Framework

To remove and reinstall .NET Framework manually, follow these steps:

    1. remove the .NET Framework.

    a. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

    b. double-click Add or remove programs.

    c. Note each version of the .NET Framework is already installed on the computer. Then, uninstall all versions of the .NET Framework.

    d. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

    2. use the Windows Installer CleanUp utility to clean up the State of MSI database for all versions of the .NET Framework.

.      Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center: http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe

    a. install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility as an administrator or a user account that is a member of the local Administrators group.

    b. Click Start, point to all programs and then click Windows Installer Cleanup.

    (c) in the Windows Installer CleanUp utility, remove all Windows Installer for the .NET Framework applications.

    3. restart the computer.

    4. download and reinstall all the versions of the .NET Framework that were previously installed on the computer.
To download .NET Framework 3.5, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4e35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en (5. When you are prompted, restart the computer.

Note When you have reinstalled all the versions of the .NET Framework, you can use Windows Update to check for the updates of the .NET Framework.

Method 2: Use the .NET Framework automatic cleanup tool

This tool is not designed as a substitute for the standard uninstall procedure. You should try to perform an uninstall by following the steps in method 1, earlier in this article, before using this cleanup tool.

The .NET Framework cleanup tool removes the .NET Framework for you. For more information about how to obtain and use this tool, visit the following MSDN Web site:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/05/30/611355.aspx

Note that this cleanup tool deletes shared files and the registry keys that are used by several versions of the .NET Framework. To ensure that all versions of the .NET Framework work correctly, if you run the cleanup tool to remove the .NET Framework, you must first remove all installed versions of the .NET Framework using this cleanup tool. Then, you must reinstall all previously installed versions, starting with the version number the lowest.

Suppose you have the .NET Framework 1.1 and .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your computer, and you plan to use this cleanup tool. In this scenario, you use the cleanup tool to remove the .NET Framework 1.1 first and then use the cleanup tool to remove the .NET Framework 2.0. After you remove the two versions, you reinstall .NET Framework 1.1 and then install the .NET Framework 2.0, in that order.

    Sohail salvation!

Thank you very much for the help.  It worked!  I tried method 1, but did not find the Windows Installer CleanUp utility .NET Framework files or programs to uninstall.  SO, I went to method 2.  I downloaded the the .NET Framework automatic cleanup tool and he found files for uninstall.  Then I rebooted and used your link and downloaded .NET Framework 1.1.
I then download and install .NET Framework 2.0, which I had originally, but during the installation, I got a message telling me that it was already installed on my PC.  (?)   OK, who am I to argue?  Then, I downloaded and installed .NET Framework 3.5.  This installed as it should.

After that, I went to Windows update and have already told him to search for updates.  Well, he finds the service pack 1 for .NET Framework 1.1 AND there for .NET Framework 3.5 SP1.  It's where he always bombed.  With your help, they both downloaded and installed as they should.  Thank you!

I was surprised by Brent saying 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' so to speak.  These updates must be installed initially.
So, the problem is solved thanks to your help.

    Once again, thank you!

  • What is the log message of consistency for the expiration of cache framework?

I could be wrong, but I think consistency of these data logs fine grain.  Easy, just test well - just turn the level up to 9 newspaper and expel some entries!

Furthermore, I always ran again my production servers at the level of the journal 9.  It's pretty standard to do.

  • Creation of a framework around a text box?

I'm new to Illustrator (I am under CS4 on Mac) and I created what is essentially an organizational chart. (It's actually something more of a decision tree, but it's not important).

I searched other forums and found out the Options of Type box. I use to create 6 pixels of spacing to insert between my text and outside the text box. Now, I would like to have a 1 or 2 point route framework automatically around the text box. One place was told to go to object > text block. However, when I select the text box and go to the object is not the block of text (either available or grayed out) option.

It does not seem that I would have manually through the work of drawing a rectangle around each block of text.

Can someone point me in the right direction to have Illustrator to do the blue box (electronics) in a real visible?

    Thank you in advance,

    Select the text object.

Use the appearance Palette to add a new fill or add a new line.

Select the additional fill or stroke in the appearance of the list.

  • Sampling rate - too much data points

    Hello community,

I use a sensor signal strength of pressure on DAQmx labview through 2014. My rate from the hardware synchronization function is 50 KHz. The samples per channel of timing and read screws are the same set to 5 Khz when the channels are a continuous sampling. The problem I'm having is that when I run labview for a few seconds, say 5 seconds, I'm half million points of data. I tried to run for 10 seconds and points were more than a million where it is difficult to analyze. I think that the vi generates too much data points and the buffer is large. Am I wrong? Can you please help me solve this problem?

    Kind regards

    Mike

You are now ready to learn a little of the power of LabVIEW and data flow programming.  LabVIEW is an inherently parallel language - two loops can run independently and in parallel, allowing you to make time-sensitive (such as sampling data) and a lot of time (such as data logging and tracing) at the same time, using queues to pass data between the loops and ensure the buffering required.

If you open LabVIEW and click on the file menu in the toolbar, and then select new... (the points are important!), you will be able to create new ones (VI) from the model.  Choose a Framework, Design Patterns, producer/consumer Design Pattern (data).  It's what you want to do.

You basically set up a "pure DAQ Acquisition Loop" (without logging TDMS) as producer, creation of 5000-element arrays of data every tenth of a second (if you are sampling at 50 kHz).  You create a queue of data outside the loop of producer whose elements are an array of 1 D of waveforms (the output of your Read DAQmx) and instead to send the data to a waveform graph, you put it in the queue.

You are under this loop, a parallel loop that gets the same queue and remove items.  This loop will be sitting idle (no time taking CPU) until the data is queued.  He then it takes away the poster and registers (logs) in a PDM file.  Either way, you should open the TDMS file before entering this loop (consumer), write to the file inside the loop and close the file when the loop exits.  Study the example of the VI, you create with the model and see how it works.

The beauty of this is that you can certainly 'keep up' with the writing of the data points in a TDMS file to 50 kHz.  You might not be able to display all the points, but there is nothing to prevent you from data processing (by, say, decimating or "block average" it) to a more 'user-friendly' display (your eyes ' sees' a 50 KHz signal?) -you have a set of 100 msec prior to the next package arrives in the queue.  Also note that the loop of producer probably takes very little time CPU - most of the time the material is waiting for its clock to 'tick', collection of points in a buffer, then transferring to the loop.

Now you can have your cake and the computer display, too.

  • Trigger DAQ via main Vi

    Hello world

Currently, I'm trying to start and stop data via a main vi acquisition.

I did it according to: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/A882E27D1D7A949386256E0D0066B91A

If I share the reference control and use a simple button in my Subvi, it works as I want.

But if I use the mainVi it does not work. Can anyone tell my why it doesn't work?

Since I'm pretty new to LabView, I have no idea.

    Thank you very much!

    These two screws are attached.

Edit: since the acquisition of data gets currently build in a rack, I work with simulated signals.

You build a State Machine, but do so in a way too complicated.  A particularly simple way, especially for someone of haven't experienced not so much in LabVIEW, is building a State Machine queue using the design of producer/consumer model to manage the controls on the front panel (such as Start and Stop).

Open LabVIEW.  Go to the file menu, click New... (the one with three dots) and open it from the model, frameworks, Design Patterns, producer/consumer Design Pattern (events).  This will show you how, when the user runs a push Start, you can put the State to acquire on the queue.

The consumer on the bottom loop becomes a State Machine in queue.  He expected to dequeue a State, and when that happens, he uses a Case statement to run code for this State (as you do in your state of acquisition).

Now you have to think that the States, you need for your computer state.  Particularly for an Acquisition task, you should have (at least) Initialize (material), to acquire (a data point), to possibly treat (data point) and to stop (and clean up after yourself).  You will probably have at least two controls, Start (start absorbing) and stop (finishing and cleaning).

The task of producer concerns only market buttons / stop, which could put acquire it and the States of Stop on the queue of handling state machine.  Until any button is pushed, this loop does no time to run, so you can ignore the case.

The loop of consumer does all the work.  How to start?  Specifically, how do we get to "Boot" on the line of the State?  Simple - enqueue just before entering the loop of consumer (i.e. outside the while loop).  This will be first on the queue, and you initialize and wait for someone do start or stop.

So, how do we not take the second point?  [We take the first when Start is pressed].  Again, simple - when you want to take the second point?  You want to wait between points?  Do very well, a State of waiting and in the State of the consumer Acquire, queue Wait.  The wait state has your delay and this, in turn, place 'acquire '.  You want to treat each point?  All the other points?  Something else?  Very well, to understand where you want to do this and queue the status of the process (remember to put what comes after the process, maybe wait).

Your code uses dynamic events, which is a topic "more advanced" than the simple Structure of the event, which should be all that you need.  Note that if you do not need to "export" some treatment to a Subvi, it almost always makes the most sense to keep the code involving the Panel front (as the event loop) in the hand of VI and pass a reference to queue (if you use a state machine waiting in your Subvi) of the Subvi.

Hope it will be useful to you.

    Bob Schor

PS - you note that you have knowledge of VBA, Java and other languages.  Would you consider doing a big project with one of these languages if you "first had in July, with the project in September?  I'm sure you already know, competence in learning any language takes time and benefits has a lot of tips current (meaning "mentor").  We will try to be your Mentor disappeared.

I went to the center of Microsoft Download and downloaded the latest updates. Downloaded and installed an update, but it cannot or will not install the "day of security for the Microsoft.NET Framework, Version 1.0 Service Pack 3 (KB928367). I get the little yellow shield icon, saying: he has a ready to install update and I still click on it and he keeps trying to install the security update and it keeps failing. I get very frustrated, and I want to get this installed security update. What should I do? I need to go to the second page the value of a field on the line that is selected on the first page.

How can I do this? In particular, how can I get the value of a field from the selected line? How can I call the second page on double-click on the af line: table?

    Thank you

    F.

Why would user, you need to pass a value of the line to the shape?

The framework selects the line you want to display in the form. All you have to do is to show the form with the selected line. It is the framework automatically as long as you use e vo even the same data control.

And the handling double-clicks is described here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/56-handle-doubleclick-in-table-170924.pdf

  • Error after you move the request for new development machine (minimum environmental change)

I'm really new FAD and work on my first application.  So far it's going pretty well, and I'll have a blast.

I met a problem move on my application to a new machine however.  I initially developed on the virtual machine running on my laptop, but decided to switch to a more powerful machine.

I have a problem trying to 'Run' of pages in my application.  Integratedweblogic is throwing an error everytime I try to load a page (and only the web pages window session that opens just shows 'o' turning indefinitely):

    "DFW-99998 [javax.naming.NameNotFoundException] [oracle.jbo.server.DBTransactionImpl.lookupDataSource] [j2ee app]".

    Original environment:

    Windows 7

    Oracle JDeveloper 11g

Oracle DB for windows running on the same OS/env/localhost

    New environment:

    Windows 7

Oracle JDeveloper 11 g (same version)

Oracle DB running in a vm virtualbox using Oracle Linux (it is a much larger, more 'production-like', a database in which my application would be hypothetically).

I made the necessary changes to the connection of database (host/port/user/pw/etc) used by the app and I still get the above error.  I even tried to copy across my jdeveloper and integrated settings of the server weblogic (C:\users\me\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.7.40.64.93) to the new environment in addition to the copy in the root directory of the application, change the db connection settings, and I still get the same error.  I also have the same error occur when, after having made the connection Exchange Pb, delete the weblogic (C:\users\me\AppData\Roaming\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.7.40.64.93\DefaultDomain) server folder and start again, with jdeveloper build a new instance IWLS run.

I must point out that, when I run the app service module in the new environment with the db connection changes, I can test all Instances of the view object, and they work as before and as expected in the Oracle Business Component Browser window.  So that seems to indicate that it's just a problem with my setup of weblogic/instance, but I'm not sure.

As always, I appreciate very much all your comments and thanks in advance for answers!

If you like the framework automatically adds the data source, it must be checked. If you want better control and better together for manufacturing sheet you it is unchecked. In this case you must create the data source on the web logical server yourself.

Try again with the box checked initially.

  • 8-bit project, no banding in preview / rendering individual frames, but bands occurs on the final rendering.

I work with 8-bit video that must be highly classified and darkened.

While I was working on, I noticed when I step in the timeline and stop to look at a framework, strips are produced, but as soon as I change a setting of one of the effects of one of my adjustment layers, banding goes and everything is mixed smoothly.

When I visited on an image preview of the same section, the output is well mixed too.

However, when I visited the final video coder via media, banding is back and very hard.

Why is this happening? If I'm in 8 bit mode, why and how is after effects able to show me these perfectly mixed previews not banded?

Bands will arrive in 8-bit images if there not enough space in the color values to make the transitions smooth. For example, if you have a blue gradient which covers 250 pixels and blue 200 to 250 changes in value you will have to 10 bands of color in the gradient. If your preview is full resolution and magnification factor is 100% you will see bands if you look closely. When you return to compression MPEG problem strips is increasing especially in areas smooth transitions of color because very large blocks of pixels are averaged together and you get only a few images of the color information that represent the actual pixels in the project. You can try to improve the color of artifacts in Adobe Meida encode by checking the high quality in color options and you can also reduce color artifacts by activating multi pass rendering and increase the flow of data a bit.

The best practice is to add some noise to the shooting so the MPEG compression more data that evolves to work with. This will tend to hide the strips by decomposing generally straight between the color values.

If you do heavy color of ranking you should show your project to 16 or 32 bit color still better. This will remove strips in 8-bit images. Unless you have a little bit of 10 or better track and a GPU capable of driving, it is really hard to judge bands by watching a preview of the model. The info panel should show the information of the right color, but it is very difficult to actually see in the monitor, especially if you're judging a frame to nothing less than full resolution and 100%. The perfectly blended frames are probably artifacts or your eye is fooled. Purge the cache of the images to see exactly what is happening in the framework. Depending on your graphics card may be fouling up previews trying to create previews of superior quality that actually exist preferences. You could also get some funky video original data if the source is a highly compressed MPEG stream. The CPU can also add to preview search OK when the values aren't really there because on average it is the small amount of color and luminance values in the 'master' frames and frames him "gee I'm not really a framework but here is a bit of data on where I think that pixels will". Don't forget that the I'm not really a frame number box frames by 2 or 4 to one. Actual color even in real managers information can be compressed on average in large blocks as well. All this contributes to the subtle color changes problems. This is why assistance of noise.

    I hope this helps.
