ADClient does not start, troubleshooting

Hello world

We had an active ACS unit for many years and we have added a second, both devices 1121.  The most recent came with 5.4, so we have improved the older one to 5.4.

We configure the replication between the two, with the most recent a primary and the older secondary.  It's windows-based clients are unable to authenticate to the older unit of ACS.  The only problem that we see, it says that adclient is not executed, under monitoring & troubleshooting, ACS health Instance summary.

Then... tried to find a way to correct this problem, yet struggled to find an article in the knowledge base that works.  So far, Cisco has not added my smartNet on the new box so I can get help... someone has any ideas what could be the cause of this?

in the Active Directory configuration page, you see the status of the AEC to AD connectoin as 'connected' or 'not connected '?

Same credentials allows you to record both servers to the domain?

    2. what exactly happens when you try to connect to a WI - FI connection?

    4. are you able to connect to the Internet by cable?

    If this is a recent problem, then you can try a system restore to Normal mode or safe mode and see if it helps.

    Try to delete the parent.lock file in the Firefox profile folder.

    Try to create a new shortcut on the desktop Firefox and maybe to reinstall Firefox via a clean reinstall (i.e. remove the Firefox program folder).

    If you cannot remove the Firefox program folder and then try to rename this file to "Mozilla Firefox.old".

    Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) to see if that helps.

  • 2006 iMac does not start. Help restore

    I have an Intel iMac core duo with iSight and built in disk drive around 2006. It does not start.

    When I turn on, it sounds and passes to the gray screen with the apple logo and a progress bar or a spinning wheel. Then he stops down. I tried all the troubleshooting and nothing works. In addition, I don't have the disks that originally from cane with the computer. So I can't make a diagnosis of the hardware. (Unless someone is willing to sell me their album hehe).

Then, in 2014 someday when I restarted, the disk jumped! I never tested the drive then because I was afraid of another stuck disc. Then, the computer is dead again as he did in 2012.

    SO I know what to do. I need to wipe the hard drive and start over. However, I didn't have a drive. So, I bought one on eBay. When I insert it, the computer enters the disc. I can hear the mechanics works. It ejects even properly. However, I can't boot from the drive. When I start the iMac by pressing option, I don't see the Macintosh, no disk drive.

    My hard drive died? If so, a USB dvd drive would work? If USB does not work, how can I replace the drive?

    Is it possible that I bought a drive bad or fake software and that's why I can't boot from the dad?

    Have you tried to start Firefox in Mode safe? Key 'shift' startup of Firefox. If the accident is not in Mode without failure, you should read the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems.

    ITunes does not start after the installation of Windows 10, 1511 version (OS Build 10586.164). ITunes version 12.3.2.35, 6 GB RAM, Intel i3 @3.3 GHz. Itunes and Ipodserver module will run by Manager jobs, but Itunes does not open. iTunes starts in SafeMode as explained in the link below (hold SHIFT and control on your keyboard while you open iTunes).

    Solution, according to this link, is:

    If the problem does not occur in Mode safe, remove any third party plug-ins iTunes: solving problems with third party plug-ins - Support Apple iTunes but the link has been archived, and I can't find any plug-ins installed iTunes. Any other ideas?

    The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

    Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

    More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

    Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

  • Satellite L650-12 q does not start

    I have a PC laptop toshiba L650Q. Its working well for 1.5years now...
    Few days back, I closed the laptop, it's to tell closed the screen (generally it puts even in mode 'sleep').

    After about 10 minutes when I tried to open & start the computer laptop not simply start :(
    I can see the glow of LED battery & power adapter, but when I press the Start button, simply does not start...
    There is a momentary gleam of the power on button, I hear the fan trying to start & then it subsides in abt 2 seconds & laptop simply does not start...

    I tried the TROUBLESHOOTING steps below but without success

    (1) I removed the battery and tried to boot using the adapter, it forces of start up
    (2) I put the battery for like 1 hour & then tried, it forces of start up

    Please let know us the steps of troubleshooting or indications that that could be the problem and how I can solve it...

    Try this:

    -Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.
    -Press the power button / stop along 30 sec
    -Connect the battery and AC adapter to the laptop
    -Try to turn on the unit.

    If this fails, check the memory modules.
    Remove a module and try to start Notepad using a single module. Run the test for each slot and the module.

    In my view, an overheating problem.   He always ran hot, even when it is new and clean.   Wife and children insisted on holding their towers to use and also blocked vents a problem.       Symptoms: 1) the final a few times it would start the a/c with an error message (battery failure) (this only refers to the main battery only or the BIOS battery?)     (2) after 10 or 15 minutes of use a gray screen blocking.   Let it cool would allow it to restart.     -How distinguish the problem I did one last backup with starting on a USB key.    During other troubleshooting with impulse of air to cool the screen turned gray and I was to turn it off, the screen quickly started to turn red from bottom to top, and then it turns off.  -Since then, it does not start, even using the USB key.   It lights up, the fan seems to work and it gives an indication it is powered (a/c), but none of the keys work, and the caps lock light flashes 1 x per second continuously.   QUESTION: I've already replaced the computer.     Is a throw away the old, or something simple and inexpensive could record for games or surfing the net safely?    Y at - it parts worth saving, HDD, RAM etc?    My computer, a Comqaq 2000 seems looks the same, except for the name.

  • HP Pavilion p6-2054uk: HP Pavilion p6-2054uk does not start all of a sudden upward. Help, please.

    I have a desktop HP Pavilion p6-2054uk (Windows 7 64 bit - i5, 3.00 Ghz - 6 GB of RAM) that I bought in 2012 and especially use of HP products.

    By starting my PC the other day, it will not start and crashes on the HP splash screen. When you press ESC, F10 and F1 and F8, it simply changes the screen to a black screen with 7 lines of text giving the details of my PC base on this subject. It should give me other optins at this stage, but does not work.

    The HP Pavilion p6-2054uk hard drive does not start even another hard drive OS I've tried from another computer with Windows 7 64 bit on it. Troubleshooting a few others, I even tried a fresh new hard drive in it with a new copy of Windows 7 64 bit to install into the CD Rom and it will not yet go through the HP start - that is abnormal screen since usually, it detects the Windows CD and install. Furthermore, fans in the PC work normal, as the eject the power of the PC CD ROM light is on too. I tried all the three available inside power cables and tried diferent nine cables sata/data and another monitor entry too, all to nothing done.

    The hard drive that was in the HP Pavilion p6-2054uk when he stopped to start up is fully accessible when placed in the other machine I have. Therefore, it is still operational.

    The notable thing only I did in the days before it were installing Adobe Creative Suite 6 but I do not think that it would cause a major problem like this, noting also that another hard disk OS (without Creative Suite 6 is installed) and a new facility wouldn't start either. Therefore, I am afraid a harware issue any.

    What could be going on here?

    Side for the second or 2 of optimism about the usual boot the PC normally makes noises, it looks like he died immediately after, suspended on the HP screen.

    I suggest that you perform all hardware diagnostics in the BIOS/UEFI. Please also refer to the following, as it covers a range of start-up problems, and if you follow the symptoms you experience should be useful.
