  Although it is possible (but unsupported) to install tools RIAD on ESXi (see VMware experience before: how to run the CLI of the ACU online HP for Linux in ESXi 4.x) you might have to restart the host still. Reading messages earlier, it would be also better to add the new table by using the ACU (Array Configuration Utility) rather than the ORCA (Option ROM Configuration for arrays). Of these posts, it looks like ORCA could possibly reorganize RAID sets, resulting in a non bootable host.

  What controller you have installed in your T110 II?   If it's a S100 or S300, it will only run Windows.   You may have damaged your Windows installation and you have to start over. .

  If you want to run Linux, you will need to change the RAID controllers.

  You will have to redo the data store and change the size of the block. With a block size of 1 M (the default value), the maximum disk size is 256GB. You will want to choose 8MB.

  The partition will have very low activity so there is no problems with PAHO are / and what SAN is only each will be used for this server and nothing else.

  you will need to add it using the ISCSI initiator in the comments.  the maximum size of the LUN is limited to 2 TB less 512bytes
