Add columns to a table

Hi all
I have a form that I can add up to 6 columns.
I created dynamic columns in the table. When I click Add columns until she reach 2, it will automatically add a new table and location number will be added 2. But it is does not work.

I spent 3 days working on it, but it does not work.
Pleas help.

Here is my code:

Form1.screen17.table3b.BehaviousButtons.AddColumn::click - (JavaScript, client)
var form1.screen17.table3b.Table3.HeaderRow._SCOL2.count = nCount;

If (nCount > 0 & & nCount < 3) {}
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.HeaderRow._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row1._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.row2._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row3._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row4._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row5._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row6._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row7._SCOL2.addInstance (1);
Form1.screen17.table3b.table3.Row8._SCOL2.addInstance (1);

}
ElseIf (nCount > = 3) {}
Form1.screen17.table3b._Table3.addInstance (1);

}

  • Add columns to the table

    I'm having a bit of a basic problem here...

    I start with a waveform D 1 from a request of data acquisition, which contains ~ 22 columns of data corresponding to the different measures. I wanted to take the first 20 columns of data and add the "column vectors" (i.e. each measure) for a 1 d table (the sum of the first 1 22 tables/measures/vectors). The logical way to proceed, it seems, is by indexing the waveform with a loop, conversion in DBL and then adding each column with a registry change.

    1 d Waveform--> for (indexed) loop--> get waveform components to get the DBL table to the index column--> go to 'add block '.

    And then, using a shift register, I add each column in the index.

    However, I get no output once for the finished loop.

    Any ideas? Examples are JPEG/png files please!

    I'm a big fan of doing things the easy way.

  • How to dynamically add columns to the table

    Hi all

    I'm new to ADF and need help on sub condition.

    We have created a ViewObject on the EMPLOYEE table that has under columns:

    EMP_ID,

    EMP_NAME,

    DEPARTMENT,

    COST_CENTER,

    BUSINESS_UNIT

    COUNTRY

    GCODE

    We need to create a page in the ADF with employee table to show only below the columns

    EMP_ID,

    EMP_NAME,

    DEPARTMENT,

    COST_CENTER

    Later, if necessary user should be able to add other columns to the page dynamically.

    Can you please advice on how to implement this feature.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Vidya

    Hello.

    There could be a simple solution, which is to use the component PanelCollection.

    Drag ' drop your VO to a page and create a Table with all the attributes.

    For columns that emp_id, emp_name, cost_center, set the Visible property to false.

    Put the PanelCollection component on your page and drag your table inside.

    When you run the page you will see the view menu in the upper left corner of the table above. You can show/hide columns in this menu.

  • With CVI SQL Toolkit, how to add the new variable param column in a table.

    Dear all:

    I used the CVI Sql toolkit to create a database, but now I don't know how to add a new column to a table in variable param.

    I know, to add a column with the name of constant column could be down by below:

    DBImmediateSQL ((hdbc, "alter table table1 add column1 char [100]");

    But if Column1 is a param variablae how can I write the code? Please advise?  It will be appreciated if you could give me an example.

    Best regards!

    HI -.

    If you look at the parameters that you pass to the SQL function, you can see that the second parameter is a string constant. In your code, you can create an array of characters (string). You can then use sprintf to programmatically determine what will be the contents of this variable. In the function call, you can put the variable instead of the literal string, and you will have a customizable SQL statement.

    Hope this helps-

    There is no LIMIT to the 'free' version  If you read the error message he said THAT was not a valid identifier.  Just to show you that I tried your erroneous statement

    ALTER TABLE hf_altertest ADD COLUMN state2 CHAR(2);

    and here is the indicator error message in SQL +.

    Yes - the Oracle documentation explains this. I found this doc with a simple search of "column, add the oracle 11g invalid procedure.

    For example, I have to add the new column 'course' before the salary column in the emp table.

    I think the best way is to add the column at the end of the table and create a new view with the order of the columns...

    Another option...

    places the data into a temporary table and recreate the table with the correct order of the columns, and then insert data to the table from the temporary table

  • Add a column in the Table lead RN

    Hello

    In a standard page, there is a searchRN, and on this basis, the data from the table ahead are met. I want to add another column of this table in advance. The original Version has the required column, so I just map the attribute and the instance.

    If she wasn't a table in advance, I would have, but for table in advance, it looks different. Any approach step by step would be really useful.

    Appl Version: 12.1.3

    Thank you

    Region of table in advance, create a new item. Type of item would be the column.
    create 2 new items under the newly added column. 1 is the column header and a second would be messagestyledtext.

  • Add a field to a form after you have created a new column in a table

    Hello

    I searched extensively in the menus help and tutorials and maybe I missed this, but after you add a new column to a table. How do I change the form so that when the data entered into the form, it is filled in the table? Is there a tutorial or an explanation of the process somewhere?

    Thank you

    Hello

    This must be done manually, but it's simple. Create a new item of the type you want for example text item, select the list by right-clicking on the region and select Create a Page element. A wizard will start when you select the type you want. Press next and enter the name of the element. for example, P3_LAST_NAME. Press next and enter a name for the element. Press next and select the Source Type as a queried database column. Press the button create.

    It will be useful.

  • Unable to add a new column to the table of the LCD? Option, just usually add it.

    I have a form of LCD with a table in it. Im trying to simply add a new column to the table. The option is there, but the column appear just after clicking Add the column to the left. I selected a column, right click the space > insert > column to the left. But the habit intsert. The object table properties tab shows lines and colum numbers, but they are grey.

    It is a dynamic array, where a new line can be inserted using a button. Is that the dynamic nature of the question? ID hate to cancel all the flow dynamics and programming just to add a column, and then reapply them all.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    You do not add the columns in the object > palette (screenshot 2) of the Table. I suspect that the problem is that it is not enough on the page (in the content area) to add the column. In the screenshot 1, if you look at the width of the column highlighted from the space to the right of the table, you will see that a column can be added due to restrictions of space.

    Reduce the width of the column highlighted (temporarily), and then add a column. Once added, you can resize the columns to match the width of the page.

    Hope that helps,

  • Add new columns to iExpense Table of Adv. finished Non-Employee Information

    I have a requirement where in I need to add three columns to the table in iExpense DetailsPG at the table of the advanced non-employee information (GuestTableRN). I was able to add three areas through customization (I know that this can be done by extending the CO, but tried through customization)

    If there was DFFs, it would have been easy, but there is no DFFs.

    I created a table with the columns attendee_line_id and report_line_id that are also in the oie_attendees_all table. Then next created the necessary business components, first OS based on the table custom and then expanded the VO on the page, ExpAttendeesVO and also added the custom to the VO EO.

    I put the code in the java VoImpl extended to insert or delete lines and moved these files on the server, insert data into the table manually. The data is displayed in the three new Non-employee table columns. I was able to update the existing data on the details page. But I can't do an insert or delete it from the page.

    I need suggestions on how to address this issue.

    Thank you
    Kishore

    Hi Kishore,

    You cannot update two tables using an EO (even if you extended it). What I propose is to write PLSQL API and call that could insert data into your custom table. Another option is to write a trigger on your table planted (on insert) and check for certain key conditions based on which you can insert data into your custom table.

    user10390682 wrote:

    Yes.

    So, when I set these two columns as NOT NULL will only future data must be NON NULL.
    What of the old and present data if I defined as NOT NULL

    NOT NULL mean value of eachcolumn + line (current or future) _ must not be null. That's why always adding NOT NULL column to a non-empty table fails - the column value for existing lines will be NULL which does NOT violate the constraint nullability. If you add the NON NULL column with a default value, the column will be added and all lines existing column value will be defined by specified default (0 in your case). As a result Oracle will be able to settle forced to null for this newly added column from the value of this column in all the existing lines will be not not null (0 in your case).
