  I understand that you are unable to AirPlay from your Mac to your Apple TV.  Here are some troubleshooting steps that I recommend to go through this problem.

  Get help

  If you do not see the AirPlay icon , make sure that your Apple TV is awake and that it meets the system requirements.

  If you do not see your Apple TV in the AirPlay menu, make sure that your Mac and Apple TV comply with the system requirementsand your software from the Apple TV is updated. Also check your firewall settings:

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click the Firewall tab.
  2. Click the lock icon and enter an administrator name and password.
  3. Click Firewall Options.
  4. Deselect the option "block all incoming connections".
  5. Select the option "automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections.

  If your office does not look great on your HDTV, high-definition TV could apply image quality improvements that are not the best for the computer images. Check the manual of your HDTV for more information on how to adjust your HDTV settings for use with a computer. • Cannot completely remove 3rd party app (still present icon in the menu bar)

  I installed and later removed MacReviver app.

  But anyway still present icon in the menu bar.

  Attempted to remove all remains of the library, but still without success as when I try to delete the folder 'MacReviver', it pop up again in a few seconds.

  I installed Firefox 21 on a new Windows 7 operating system. The menu bar and the toolbar at the top of the windows is full small horizontal lines. Sometimes, there are more lines and sometimes less. It makes the icons and menu items almost impossible to see. So far, is that the Firefox screen that made it.   I found this thread, but it does not work. When I click the Updater icon, then click on 'Open updater', it opens up the creative cloud instead. I have not found a way to remove the updater from creative cloud icon.

  Found, thanks to messages later in this thread, as I mentioned in the op. Here's what they suggest (you must use Photoshop):

  1. in Photoshop, select help > updates:

  

  2. click on 'Preferences' in the lower-right.

  

  3. uncheck the "Notify me of new updates on the menu bar". Then click on 'Ok '.

  Please perform following steps to solve this problem.

  (1) close adobe every process in activity monitor (creative cloud, sync Core, CC library, services for the desktop application adobe, adobe office, broker CIB Adobe updater AAM service)

  2) navigate to the following locations and assign all permissions to the adobe folders to the current user. To navigate, click on go in the bar on then click goto... type/library/application support of / and then click OK.

  (3) to assign the authorization right click on adobe folder and click on Get info... A window will open. Then click on the lock symbol to allow editing. Then click on sign + to add your user name. Then change read only to read and write. Then click gear icon on the bottom and click on apply to the elements included and click ok... Go to the next step then.

  3) navigate to the location following support/adobe application and rename in oobe to oobe.old and aamupdator.old aamupdator.

  (4) place you ~/Library/application support/adobe/oobe and rename in oobe to oobe.old and aamupdator.old aamupdator.

  (5) open the library of the application and delete the creative cloud,

  (6) open utility library of the application itself and delete Adobe application manager and creative cloud

  (7) install creative cloud from link according to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

  (8) launch cc app and it should work properly
