Add/Remove window has a big empty space (hole)

XP Pro SP3. When I opened the Add/Remove window, and after that it populates the list of programs, there is a large white space (hole). It will give the list of the first 10 programs, so I almost have to scroll to the bottom of the window to see all of the programs that are installed on the computer. That is what it is?

Well, AutoCAD would come after AVG (in alphabetical order).

BurrWalnut was probably right, but there are actually several things that cause this problem if AutoCAD is involved.

Supposedly, people AutoCAD fixed ths some time ago and my notes are a little old, but here's what I have:

Before making any changes to your registry, save it with this free and popular tool:

http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/ERUNT.html

According to me, the problem is the index of the icon for AutoCAD is wrong or the file icon is missing and we can deal with either.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

Regedit

Click OK to open the registry editor.

Navigate to where is all the stuff to add/remove programs:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\

Find what I think is the entrance of AutoCAD:

{5783F2D7-0101-0409-0000-0060B0CE6BBA}

You can be sure, by looking at the entry DisplayName on the right side to be sure it's AutoCAD. I hope that you don't have to hunt for him.

Check the value of Exposeicon on the right side and if it is - 1, double-click the value and change it to 1 and then exit regedit. If it is not - 1, tell me what it is.

Restart and test.

  • I can't find add/remove Windows components

Hello im trying to find the parameters (or file) for the universal plug an Interface Play (UPnP) anyone know where I can find this file and how to get there?

    Thank you for your time

UPnP has changed its name to Vista and really did not all other parameters only on or off.  It also works different in Vista than XP.  It is practically necessary only for ICS and thus more/stop toured.  Other changes to port settings that were once controlled by uPnP must now be done through the router or Windows Firewall.  See the following:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/02/12/turn-on-and-enable-upnp-or-network-discovery-in-windows-vista/.  The following thread can also shed light on the situation:http://help.wugnet.com/vista/UPnP-Framework-Vista-ftopict109931.html.

To answer the other question, add /' remove Windows components.

Turning on or turning on components Vista Windows (from http://www.real-knowledge.com/vistacomponents.htm):

    1. Click the Start button located in the lower left corner of the Windows Vista desktop.
    2. Then click on Control Panel.
    3. In the Control Panel, click programs.
    4. Now click on Windows to enable or disable features to show all the features.
    5. To activate a feature of Windows Vista, select the check box next to the feature.
    6. To disable a Windows Vista feature, clear the check box next to the feature.
    7. Now click on the button OK to have Windows Vista save and apply your changes.
    8. Then, close the Panel open windows to return to your Windows session.
    9. Depending on what features you turned on or off, Windows may ask you to reboot.

  • Big empty space - how to remove?

There are large random spaces dividing paragraphs in my text in two pages. I have no idea how to avoid them, the Minimoys not visualized any kind of a jump page here... A great reference may be a problem? The text looks way too clunky to my mentor PhD =)

Notes you add per page, far more space in the footnotes will encroach up on top of the body of your document, forcing this text to break prematurely on the next page.

You should consider turning off the lines Widow & Orphan prevent in your Format Panel: more tab and write your page of notes, or collect all of your notes at the end of a section as end notes. It will be much less disturbing to those who read your paper, whose eyes are currently pulled the body of the text in your copious notes.

  • My file has plenty of empty space 'outside' of the work plan that I can't get rid of? How to crop the file to the artboard size real?

Above is my plan of work and space to work, but when I try to resize the image (or save it in jpeg format to show the problem I have) there is a ton of white space outside the artboard and the crop tool and two work plan tool say that my file is not as large as the size above , but its been as big as the screenshot below.

    Screen Shot 2016-02-12 at 1.05.57 PM.png

I can't find anyone else having this problem. Am I the only one? How can I solve this problem? It is to be a huge problem for web design. And he did it for all of my projects as web design he updated to have work plans.

    Hi Nicole,.

I'm sure that it is a problem that we followed. We have not addressed it yet, but it's on our list of things to fix.

Plan of work documents have a canvas in auto-expand; This is part of the user experience, which gives a feeling of infinite to the document; You can place things anywhere in the view, and they should remain visible no matter where you drag. In order to maintain this illusion, paint us the entire surface to mate with the same color outside work plans.

Hide us this canvas from you, even if it's still there. You can see how big it is at any time by choosing "Image > canvas... size. ». That size will change as things move around, getting bigger and smaller than necessary. The hidden canvas size will break to the next more or less 'limit of diamonds", which is nominally in increments of 1024 pixels. This is done for performance.

The problem is that the export code is really not updated as the work plans can develop and reduce the canvas. When you export a document of work plan, it looks at the current size of the Web and uses only. That's why you get that extra white space. This extra space problem happens also for other things, like thumbnails of document. We agree it's pretty boring, and as I said, it's on our list to fix.

    Try this workaround:

    1. download your ready to export document.

    2. in the work plan tool, select the gear icon (top tool bar, far right) and uncheck auto-size canvas

    3. Select the Rectangle tool and cover the artboard from edge to edge. (Snap allows here)

    4. Select the crop option. This can reduce the canvas to just the boundaries of the artboard.

5 export under..., choose your format, for example PNG. and export.

    6. don't check any extra white space.

Note that "Web auto-size" is a property of document-sticky and is saved with the document.

I can't add a component from the Add Remove program window as says could not initialize winxp

My victory is xp professional ver 2002 service pack 3

It's usually easy to fix, but if you removed all the dll and inf files, you can have a bunch of other problems that you have not yet discovered.

If you mean when you try to use Add/Remove Windows components you see a message like this:

Install was not able to load the master file.
The application could not be initialized.

This happens because this file is missing:

    c:\windows\inf\sysoc.inf

There is no copy backup of this file on your system and run the System File Checker will not replace the missing file (sorry, that Microsoft committed Support Engineer 'experts').

You will need to get a real copy of your XP bootable installation CD or from a reliable source.

There's a copy on my SkyDrive, you can download - here's how:

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, put a copy of the file in this folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows\Inf

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    https://SkyDrive.live.com/?CID=6a7e789cab1d6f39&ID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you can not see the file extension (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc.), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, your browser is unable to save the file with an extension (by example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, .zip, etc) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file named sysoc when the name of the file should really be called sysoc.inf (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

You must then copy and paste the downloaded folder appropriate on your system.

  • Can I remove the empty space in a sprite sheet

    Hello

The auto-generated sprite sheet Flash Pro CC has plenty of empty space.

It is blowing the overall size of the published package - beyond the limit States the ad server.

Before I go in and reduce the devil on the quality of the individual art, a few questions:

    1. is including the sprite sheet metal required, recommended, or does not matter - in regards to mobile platforms.

    2. can I I cut away excess space in the sprite kind of worksheet.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    El Rey

In mobile, I guess look at a too average web pages in the mobile browser. The sprite sheet might affect mobile browsers in two different ways. In some cases, it might take the size of the file so high that the mobile browser cannot download as a single file, but as you talk about ads, I suspect it's a small file. On the bright side, having an image instead dozens of images will speed up the loading of the page.

The spare white space does not significantly affect the size of the file. I suspect for the work of the canvas, you could cut out the white of the left and the lower part and it would continue to operate, I'll test a few days. For WebGL work you would normally keep the image as powers of 2 wide and high, because it goes into GPU memory, and who wants that the powers of sizes 2 textures.

You should look at tinypng.com. There you can drag your great 32-bit PNG and get one that looks pretty much the same, but it's maybe 60-70% smaller. Simply keep the file of the same name and replace the 32-bit version in your pictures folder.

  • How can I uninstall hidden programs (not shown in Add/Remove Programs)? I already tried to delete all occurrences of 'hide' in sysoc.inf, but programs still do not appear in Add/Remove programs.

I'm on XP SP2 installed (not enough space for SP3). Hidden programs include MovieMaker, Outlook Express and Internet Explorer (for the last two, add/remove windows components will only remove the links, not the programs themselves). Thank you!

    Hi Mr. Diamond,

You can't completely remove or uninstall programs like Movie Maker, Outlook Express or Internet Explorer from the computer, because these were built in operating systems.

If you want to free up space on the computer, and then see the link below.

  • Question of empty space

I work with a model of tables based on DreamTemplates.com (model 0055) and need help regarding the removal of the empty space at the bottom of some pages.

I moved the margins at the bottom of the tables using the slider, but when I check the temporary site in Safari, the amount of white space is huge.  In IE, it is less the amount of space.  I also took a quick glance at the codification, but can't seem to find what I should be adjusted.

Here is a link to one of the pages in question.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to change the encoding for this?  I was not sure what the best way to publish the code here, so I left it.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hello

Get out the explicit height pixel values 2 cells (td):

    3484

    3559

The big empty space that you have on the bottom should be removed.

In addition, as SnakEyez02 you suggest, I think you must post your site on the W3C site to ensure that your code is correct.

    I hope this helps!
