Add row in table or list multi-column

Hello

I discovered Labview (version 8.6) and I am trying to create a program of asquisition of data pour a shock absorber test bench.

I collects the data and table classes in UN, AND cre a XY graph pour display a Representative force of the shock curve depending on the speed of movement of the stem. Until there all right!

My problem is that I want that when the cycle is done en continue, new data appears on the next line instead of "crush the Report values as is currently the case. I tried with the tool 'table' and the 'multi-column list' tool but the problem is the same: How do I do?

It happens that I have the same problem to display the curves on my XY graph, I also need help pay this problem.

Please pour your attention and your help.

Kind regards

Jeremy

PS: If my spouse VI to image the problem.

Hello Jeremy,

First of all, I would like to know what you mean by en run continue? If you specify normal here the double arrow d "performance, I would like to inform you that it must be used only when debugging your application, pour allow you to change values on orders without having to continually again l ' execution of your vi.

If you want that your program runs continuously, you can add a loop around your code, with a STOP button for example to stop it.

Then, if you get to write a single line, it is because although you creating a table 2D of your data before sending it to the node of the list property, this table is filled by a single column.

You will find attached your slightly modified VI pour integrate a loop at the level of the acquisition.

I used a tunnel with auto-indexation, which allows you to create a new row in the table 2D at each iteration of the loop. It's a simple way, but is not particularly the best, you can also set up your creations of table functions in the loop. In the same way, it will take maybe add functions of timing in the loop, but in your case, I think that the acquisition it even cadencera the execution of the loop.

The report will be completed once you have clicked the STOP button.

This solution of hoping to match your need.

Kind regards

    I want to make this hat so I don't need the numbers in the table for col1.

    Any advice would be great!

    This function updates the French column when you click in the English column (only on the first 4 points, however, otherwise you will get an error that there is no matching element in the French).

    col1. OnChange = function() {}

    col2. Items [col1. Selection.index] .selected = true;

    }

    Do the same for the other columns.

    But it would be a good idea to use a chart to show all the columns instead of separate variables (col1, col2, etc..)

    In this way, you could just browse all columns, instead of typing all individually. And you can easily add columns if necessary, or delete, etc..

    I have a model over 1000 tables, each containing primary and some keys with unique indexes.  I need a list of multi-column primary keys and a list of the unique indexes that are not the primary key.  Is there a way this information easily?

  • Oracle Text multi column index based query returns no rows

    Hello

    I have a MAH_KERESES_MV table with 3 columns OBJEKTUM_NEV, KERESES_SZOVEG_1, KERESES_SZOVEG_2. I create the following Oracle multi column text index:

    ctx_ddl.create_preference exec ('MAH_SEARCH', 'MULTI_COLUMN_DATASTORE');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute exec ('MAH_SEARCH', 'COLUMNS', 'OBJEKTUM_NEV, KERESES_SZOVEG_1, KERESES_SZOVEG_2');

    create index MAX_KERES_CTX on MAH_KERESES_MV (OBJEKTUM_NEV)
    indexType is ctxsys.context
    parameters ("DATASTORE MAH_SEARCH");
    But the query returns no rows, although if I make the query with the 'like' operator, and then I get the results as expected:

    SELECT id, OBJEKTUM_NEV
    OF MAH_KERESES_MV
    WHERE CONTAINS (OBJEKTUM_NEV, "C") > 0;

    Can some body please help? TIA,

    Tamas

    You can do it in Oracle Text, well it is not necessarily desirable.

    You can search the

    WHERE CONTAINS(OBJEKTUM_NEV, '%C%')>0;

    And it will probably work in a simple test. However, using a leader like this wildcard prevents them the index on the table "list of words" used, so such a request can be very slow on a large system.
    You can improve this by using SUBSTRING_INDEX, but making your much bigger index. And you could always hit the 'expansions too' problem if %C % expansion is more than about 15,000 words (depending on version and different settings).

    Also be aware of differences in case - %C % will match 'fact' or 'FACT', as part of a CONTAINS, but not part of a TYPE.

    I have recently been design FP and have gotten to a scroll bar in a multi column list box.

    How can I change the decals and colors of the scroll bar as I can't seem to change or select all components of it within the control editor.

    I would change the arrow buttons and arrow the cursor with a custom sticker and have a solid track. In adition to that, I would like to change some of the symbols or add my own custom in the existing list.

    Is this possible to do?

    I don't think that you can customize parts of the scollbars.

    Here how to add symbols to a listbox control. The new index of symbols must last for 41 as the indices of standard symbols are included between 1 and 40. The size of your custom symbol must be 16 x 16.

  • Table with list of value to load on another value of the column that is never changed by the user

    Nice day!

    I work with JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.

    I have a Table of the ADF that has 4 lines.  Each row has a column with a unique value.  The plan should include a LOV column in the row show a different list of values based on a single column value.  I have install the list of values, use a display with a variable binding criterion.  When you create the data LOV source, I Specifies the name of a single column for the value of the bind variable.  However, it seems that the LOV changes none selecting different lines.

    Is there a good way to handle this?  I did LOVs of person in charge in the past, but this isn't quite the same as the user can view only the value that depends on the LOV on.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    BradW

    Hey, it's always a case of use of the dependent list of values. If the attribute that you bind the bind variable view criteria at part of the view object then the value LOV to be examined accordingly. I did a quick test case and I see my lists filtered by an attribute in line (I used the HR schema and posted employees as candidates managerId. The employee list is filtered so that it only shows the employees in the same Department that the employee I want to put a new managerId on) Frank

  • By programming the auto scroll value multi-column list boxes?

    I have a Multi column list box control that I put off (for indication only) which is used to show the progress.

    When a profile is loaded in the list box if this profile causes the scroll bar to become active it's obviously disabled and if the user cannot scroll

    That the control is disabled, the scroll bar is also disabled is there anyway that I can programmatically on the AutoScroll scroll bar?

    Hello

    You can use the property of the listbox multicoum ' cell upper left Visible.

    If your listbox multicoloum is disabled you can put vertical cursors or something on the front and give the value of the cursor to the line/Coloum (vertical scrollbar) and Coloum for the horizontal scroll bar to the "cell upper left Visible.

    Hope this helps

  • Title, title, line-Align multi-column Tables

    File under: trouble Frame, with a little hacky work-around

    In the format of two columns we work routinely, we often need a table that is on the scale of the column, but maybe take in several columns.

    The problem is that the title suite (TableTitle, if used) and never align with the departure of position/title. That's because continuations are starting at the top of the column, while the table itself begins (default "Anywhere") under the anchor line (supposed to be 'in the column' for this discussion)...

    OK, what happens if we change Table > start [Basic] table designer to:

    • Top of the column: Oops, which becomes the top of the Next column, leaving the anchor text column-widower (but it gave me an idea).
    • Top of the Page: Oops, who becomes top of the Next page, leaving the anchor text page-widowed.
    • Float: no effect

    OK, what happens if we change the anchor text Format > paragraph > Format by Designer [paging] to:

    • [Paging] in all of the columns (AAC): Oops, table appears only in the left column on all pages, or;
    • Spacing between lines, including negative and space [base] values seems to have no effect. Using a tiny police only minimizes the problem and he's not healing.

    I thought that I had found how to solve this problem at some point, but did not remember it. I'm writing this in part to seek a simpler solution. Web research has found only one candidate, solid solution, and it was, of course, 404. Perhaps chassis versions have at least the FM7/Win and FM7.1/Unix that I regularly use improvements to this address.

    We normally just to work around the problem by using an AAC format and a table that spans the page, with a gutter of fake Center, simulating a stream of multiple column. In a recent case, I wanted a real wide single-column table of length variable (due to the conditional lines and expected future growth), but I wanted the items to align columns. The table raised on one page, which is a limitation of the next cut.

    Hack: This example requires a text block and page 2-column normal which is 7.5 in wide with a gutter in 0.24 (3.63 in. columns) and a table do not require more than one page. It works for both the provisions 3 and 4 columns.

    1. Use an AAC anchored text frame line.
    2. Create a frame of width (7.5 in.) anchored full page (which may be low, the top of the pass, as you wish).
    3. Create a block of text inside the anchored frame. This framework is:
      one more than your standard page (3-column for this example)
      Same size gutter (0.24 in. for this example).
      Initially pull the block of text to fit inside the frame anchored, so you can get it easily.
    4. Make sure that the default paragraph format (anchored table) of the first column is "in the column".
    5. Use graphics > properties of the object to set the text block inside:
      The value of width: your total width of the text frame standard most 1 column and 1 gutter (11,37 in. for this example).

    Set Offsets: from 0 to 0 (this will push the column at the right out of sight for the moment).
  • Insert your table as soon as the text table anchored inside the text frame.
  • In the table designer, the value Start: top of the column (this pushes the table beginning in column 2).
  • Select the internal text block again.
    The value offset: left: negative column + a gutter (in-3,87 for this example).
  • Now, the table seems to start in the page one column and flows to the additional columns with the alignment of the position.
  • It worked perfectly for my recent requirement. In fact, I used a 3 columns (4 real) for the block of text inside the anchored frame. A bit of math is required, sorry .

    > ... a table and column that spans more than one column...

    > Not quite--I have a table of unique, equal or less than a wide column column,
    > flowing (continuous) in several columns.

    That's what I meant... but misspelled "covers" instead of "flow".  Oops... I just noticed a mistake. To the step #2, I said give a table a value space above 12.0 pt. There should be a negative space above (pt-12,00).

    Above is an example of a view of what I get.

    Here, while querying how can I give more relevant for the text1 Text2 column as column?

    I gave an example below. I added some data to your example. You had tags and columns duplicated in your multi_column_datastore, so I fixed it those. I removed the newline delimiter and added a section with sections of field group and add this section to the index settings group. Allows you to search in each section of field and apply different fats. You can apply weights by multiplying by a value entre.1 and 10 or several times multiplier to reduce or increase the score for a particular section.

  • Is it possible particularly handy/quick to disable controls (multi-column listbox) when executing the output material associated?

    Please excuse me if the title of the post is not clear, I would try to explain what I need to do here.

    In the application, I am currently in train, UI use multi column listboxes in several places where a set value (one line) is selected, and based on the rowset / selected, relay/material are enabled to match a given configuration (which is then verified with your comments).  The problem is, I can easily rush into the user interface and make program stuttering and choke...

    I just put my finger down in one of the rows in the listbox control and drag my finger up and down the screen as a 5 year old child see a touch screen for the first time - he tries to each entry cache/buffer.  After I stop being 5 years old again I sit and listen to the click click of the relay for a bit.  One of these list boxes, I've already implemented enable and disable to pieces of code to implement the right before the digital output and solve the controls right after that feedback has been verified.  It was kind of a pain to do, so I wonder if there is an easier way to do it.

    Any idea or suggestion appreciated!

    Thank you

    -Pat

    PS - i As training until this weekend so I will probably not be quick to answer, but still thx for any info

    Use a "Mouse Up" event instead of an event of "change the value.

  • Report multi columns

    Helllo,

    I use the Application Express 3.1.2.00.02

    I want to do a report 3 columns.

    I just saw this thread (2005 - that's why I started a new)
    Report multi columns

    When I applied the model to my region to report, I got the following error:

    ERR-1025 error processing PL/SQL expression. MOD 0 (1,3)

    Can someone tell me why?

    Thank you

    Roseline

    **********************************************

    My query - select ename from EMP

    The model I created by steps:

    Create a report line model...
    Workspace > Application Builder > shared components > Themes > models... Create
    Model Type: report
    Method of creation: from scratch
    Name: A field - three columns
    Theme: your choice
    Template class: Standard
    Model type: named column (model line)

    Edit the sample report, you just create and change the following:
    Model of line 1: < td width = "150" > #1 # < table >
    Model line Condition: use based on the PL/SQL Expression
    Template line 1 Expression: mod (#ROWNUM #, 3) 0
    Line 2 model: < td width = "150" > #1 # < table > < /tr > < tr >
    Model line Condition: use based on the PL/SQL Expression
    Model line 2 Expression: mod (#ROWNUM #, 3) = 0

    Before lines: < tr >
    Lines back: < /tr >

    Create a query based region report. For my test, I used "select ename from emp". Have the report use the line template.

    It is just a quick sample and dirty. For a better look, you will need to do your own formatting...

    You can not just repeat mod (#ROWNUM #, 3) = 0 in all conditions - b/c who take them just like you saw. You need different lines on each.

    If you run this query, you will see why you get only 4 rows:

    SELECT 'EMP ' || ROWNUM,
           CASE
             WHEN MOD(ROWNUM, 3) = 0 THEN
              'EMP ' || ROWNUM
           END col
      FROM dual
    CONNECT BY LEVEL < = 12

    I think you should change to something more like this:

    Condition 1: MOD(ROWNUM, 3) = 1
    Condition 2: MOD(ROWNUM, 3) = 2
    Condition 3: MOD(ROWNUM, 3) = 0

    I have not tested it out but try it

  • Insertion XMLAgg large output in a table with a CLOB column

    Hello

    I need to fill a CLOB column in a table with the output of a query select using XMLAgg which returns a string length exceeds the maximum length of the SQL 32767octets.

    The table I ask has 300,000 lines I need to create an XML file. When I apply the query below (without XMLAgg) I get 300 000 lines that each of the 134 characters each. However, when I add the XMLAgg I can't select the results as XMLAgg concatenates my 300,000 lines in a single line, where a length of string is too long for SQL.

    SELECT (XMLElement ("line", XMLELEMENT ('cell', XMLATTRIBUTES ('XML_TAG_1' "colName"), attribute1)
    XMLELEMENT ('cell', XMLATTRIBUTES ('XML_TAG_2' "colName"), attribut2)
    XMLELEMENT ('cell', XMLATTRIBUTES ('XML_TAG_3' "colName"), attribut3))
    )
    of XML_TAGS_TABLE
    -Produces 300,000 lines like below
    < row > < cell colName = "XML_TAG_1" > 12345 < / cell > < cell colName = "XML_TAG_2" > abcdef < / cell > < cell colName = "XML_TAG_3" > 123xyz < / cell > < / row >

    With this in mind, I created a temporary table (TEMP_TAB_TEST) with a column called XML_ROW that is a CLOB. Applying XMLAgg in the above query, I would get 300,000 lines concatenated into a string. I need to get the single string output in the XML_ROW (CLOB) column XMLAgg while I can then convert them to the XML file.

    I don't see how I can use XMLAgg due to the length of the output it produces? Is there a way I can fill the column clob using the XMLAgg is the result of a PL/SQL package / block Anon?

    Thank you very much
    Simon.

    It works for me:

    CREATE TABLE TESTCLOB (ID NUMBER, DATA CLOB);

    insert into testclob (
      id,
      data
    ) values (
      1,
      (SELECT XMLTYPE.getClobVal(XMLAGG( XMLElement("row", XMLELEMENT("cell", XMLATTRIBUTES('XML_TAG_1' COL1),attribute1)
                                        ,XMLELEMENT("cell", XMLATTRIBUTES('XML_TAG_2' COL2) ,attribute2)
                                        ,XMLELEMENT("cell", XMLATTRIBUTES('XML_TAG_3' COL3),attribute3))
                                       )
                                 )
         from (SELECT 'XXXXX' attribute1, 'xxxxxx' attribute2, 'yyyyyyy' attribute3 from dual connect by level<1000000)
      )
    );

    SELECT ID, DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(DATA) FROM TEXTCLOB;

    ID                     DBMS_LOB.GETLENGTH(DATA)
