• The passage to the line/column in the ListBox with enter/tab?

I have a ListBox, in which I load several columns, ranks multiple excel files. Once I've selected a single cell to motify it, I would move down to the next line to the right or to the left / to the next column with the enter and tab keys respectively? It would be especially nice to be able to move to the next cell with it being active, so that I can make changes without touching the mouse pointer.

Is it possible to do?

for the specifics. TBL table there are two columns col1, col2

I added the new column col3 to TBL and created composit index (col1, col2, col3).

Now for all the records in col3 is NULL. When I choose on this table, it takes too long...

• Adding a column to the table-> IR and form

The database has been changed to add a column to a table. It is desirable to update the form generated 'on a Table with a report. What I have to delete the pages and redo them with the new column or is it possible to get just the set DML to update? Hi Bill,

out of the box, you get an "automatic line (DML) treatment.
If you ensure that the new column is the right column of the mapping database in the source section of the page element, then the DML is automagically picking up your new column.

When I press the ADD button, a new line must be added to the shape of the table and the data should be saved to the collection. , But currently, the page is being submitted to the database table when adding new lines in the form of tables. The data should only be saved in the database when the user clicks on the APPLY CHANGES button

I searched the Forum about this issue and have found many discussions which suggested to use JavaScript to add new lines. As I have no knowledge of JavaScript, these solutions have been strange for me.

Please help me solve this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Christophe,

Follow the changes mentioned below

1. remove this your Collections initialize

IF :REQUEST = 'ADD'
THEN
APEX_COLLECTION.ADD_MEMBER(p_collection_name => l_collection_name);
END IF;

2 condition your collection process initialize

Modify your process-> conditions-> PLSQL Expressions->: REQUEST IS NULL

3. create a process more onload I say Add new line to the collection

DECLARE
l_collection_name APEX_COLLECTIONS.COLLECTION_NAME%TYPE;
BEGIN
l_collection_name := 'EMAILDETAILS';
IF apex_collection.collection_exists(l_collection_name)
THEN
APEX_COLLECTION.ADD_MEMBER(p_collection_name => l_collection_name);
END IF;
END;

4 condition your Add new line to the collection

Modify your process-> conditions-> request = Expression1-> ADD (this should be request ADD button)

5. change your button-> Action addition-> redirect to this application page :-> page no (same page)->-> ADD APPLICATION

6. check your through the process conditional Page collection

Modify your process-> conditions-> PLSQL Expressions->: ASK IN ('ADD', 'APPLY_CHANGES', 'DELETE')

7. check your subject to the process of Collection to Table under condition

Modify your process-> conditions-> PLSQL Expressions->: ASK IN ('APPLY_CHANGES')

8. for the whole process to remove the conditions when the button is pressed.

If the problems persists, create a sample on apex.oracle.com and share the connection information with the name of workspace.

The two ways are really good and functional in my situation.
I apologize for not giving version: I'm on 11g so I think that can use Unpivot. It would be really more faster (performance given the volume of data) to use unpivot characteristic of 11 g?

If there is no significant difference, whereas I think is that SELECT... UNPIVOT would be faster. It is purely a guess. It depends on several factors, including your data, your index and your machine. I don't have access to one of them.

Try both ways and compare performance. (Compare the results, too, to check that the two qiueries are really doing the same thing).

• Documentation about adding column with the DEFAULT value.

Hello

http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_3001.htm#i2198241

< quote >
If you add a column, then the initial value of each row in the new column is NULL unless you specify the DEFAULT clause. In this case, Oracle database updates each row in the new column with the value specified for the DEFAULT value. This update operation, in turn, triggers AFTER UPDATE triggers defined on the table.
< quote >

I am not able to understand the emphasis on the part AFTER UPDATE while the column with DEFAULT values addition triggers both BEFORE and AFTER triggers defined on UPDATE.

According to the documents of 11 g

http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_3001.htm#i2133105

n.m. (u) r only changes with the NON NULL columns, but focus on AFTER UPDATE is still there. No trigger defined on the fire of the update in this case.

This insistence is intended? If not, IMO, it should be changed.

Kind regards

Hi Sissi. After further discussion, we have added some information about a change in behavior. Here is what says the next version of the doc:

When you add a column, the initial value of each row in the new column is null.

* If you specify the DEFAULT clause for a column NOT NULL, then the default value is stored as metadata, but the column itself is not populated with data. However, the following queries that specify the new column are rewritten so that the default value is returned in the result set.

This optimized behavior differs from earlier versions, when as part of operation ALTER TABLE Oracle database updated every line in the newly created with the default column and then fired defined update triggers on the table. In this release, no trigger is triggered because the default value is stored only in the form of metadata.

* If you specify the DEFAULT for a nullable column clause, then the default value is added to existing lines under this ALTER TABLE statement, and any update triggers defined on the table are activated. This behavior also means if you change a NOT NULL column with a default value to be nullable.

Hope that helps to clarify the matter further.

Kind regards
Diana

The windows were all cleaned.

I did the test and digital printing of the "feeder ' ' and I have no lines for printing! I did update the firmware of the printer and I still have the same result.

You have a solution to this problem?

Thank you

The small windows of the charger scanner had a small red above mark. When the analysis has been done and sent on an e-mail, the line shows as it is scanned were made with the color scan option. If I print the line doesn't show because the printer is not color!

• Hide column of the HFM 11.1.2.3 web form

Hello

I'm quite new to HFM and I have what could be a very stupid problem.

Our requirement is to show on an online form < Parent Curr Total > by entity, a column of eliminations and assets < entity Curr Total >

Entity 1 Entity 2 Entity n. Eliminations Holding

As the eliminations are at the basic level and boils down not to the parent company, tried to add each column of elimination of entities to the web form and calculate a column as being the sum of all of the eliminations.

So much and so much good, but when it comes to hidding columns in entity removal, I simply have not found how. I tried to change the width of the columns of 1px, 1 pt, 0% etc and the column remains with the same width, but IV ' e did the same on the 11.1.1.3 version and it works, kind of weird. I also tried to hide the added display: no and he's hiding the values, the column always shows.

Summer research everywhere and have not been able to find advice on how to hide the columns, so I would be very happy if somenone could help me.

Thank you very much for your time,

• How to change the page numbers after adding & save page numbers in the pdf document - need to change the existing page printed on the upper right in the header numbers

How to change the page numbers after you add and save the page numbers in the pdf document - need to change the existing page printed on the upper right in the header numbers.

These page numbers were initially created using Acrobat PDF header and footer.

I have a 750 page pdf document that I've created.

I have to sometimes the pages up and down after that I added the page numbers in the document by using the Header_Footer tool on the right column of tools.

But after you save the document, if I get a few pages around, I can't go back and change the page numbers.

I thought that the page numbers, as indicated in the header and footer must have changed automatically, but I guess that once its print, that it cannot be edited - is that, as what is?

So I guess we should always first get a copy without numbers of pages before confirming the documents and the creation of an index.

A way to remove these page numbers already there and add new page numbers.

Its a lot of work to align 750 court documents and then realize that you must move some and then realize the page numbers cannot be changed and thus begin to do this all over again to compile which can take about 10 hours.

My question is quite simple, but I hope that overall, I got my point. Sorry if I made it is too complex.

If no simple way, want to know if anyone has another different tool or a few recommendations to better highlight what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you for your review and response.

You should be able to update with tools - Pages - header & foot-

Update... It not work for you?

If this isn't the case, then try to remove from this menu and then re - adding them.

But when I used the second col-> P #FEB. Y#@CUR. S #ACTUAL and save my data form. I can see the year and only col1 scenario dimension. Col2: Only FEB appears without year and scenario. How can I spread the year and the other columns scenario, rather than display only in col1. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you use the standard Web in the workspace form tool, you can bring up the form in edit mode, select the Details tab and there is an option "Repeat the headers", Just check the box and you should be good to go.

• recommendations for the use of files outside of the root of web documents

Hi all

I decided to give another go to Dreamweaver now that I have CS4, rather than "hand coding", it's been a while, and I'm just getting used to everything...

So the first site I created is a PHP/MySQL site and I have the installer. I have the files local/tests/remote view works fine, trotting along, now I want add files I normally outside the root of web documents, for example, if the web root is/website/htdocs / I like to put some files in/site/includes and include / require them as needed. The problem is that I can't decide how to view these files/folders by Dreamweaver.

My only choice to move the root of the document/site sets up a directory? How will this effect site preview and other features?

Thank you

It is one of the less satisfactory aspects of the management of site in Dreamweaver, and several developers, including myself, made pressure on the Dreamweaver team in recent years to improve it. Who knows? They could possibly take knowledge.

The only way to do at present is to create two site definitions, one nested inside the other. Set up the site definition normally based on specific folder as the root of your site. Then create a new site definition based on site. Dreamweaver will be nag you it can cause problems, but this doesn't actually block you to do. The only potential problem is with synchronization of the site.

The problem with the use of site as the only basis for the definition of your site is that Dreamweaver automatically puts things like connections, Scripts and other files in the root of the site. Thus, all things evil at the level of the site hierarchy. Frankly, all this is a bit of a pain. Development of the dynamic site has been added to Dreamweaver only in the version 6 (Dreamweaver MX), and nobody had really thought through the need to store files outside the root of the site.

I have a column with two values, separated by a space, in each line. How do I create 2 new columns with the first value in one column and the second value in another column?

Add two new columns after than the original with space separated values column.

Select cell B1 and type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

= IF (Len (a1) > 0, LEFT (A1, FIND ("", A1) −1), ' ')

shortcut for this is:

B1 = if (Len (a1) > 0, LEFT (A1, FIND ("", A1) −1), ' ')

C1 = if (Len (a1) > 0, Member SUBSTITUTE (A1, B1 & "", ""), "")

or

the formula of the C1 could also be:

= IF (Len (a1) > 0, RIGHT (A1, LEN (A1) −FIND ("", A1)), "")

Select cells B1 and C1, copy

Select cells B1 at the end of the C column, paste

• Aurora line with the translator, photos, web etc. is not available

The line, where you can select, if you want to access videos, photos or 'more' with the Petite drop-down list to the google translator can be applied in Aurora, the start page is www.google.de. I still need to type in google "google translator" part search and then open it after that it appears as a result of research!

As a solution why not to bookmark the translator, you can even do it with a variety of automatic detection or specific language combinations according to your work.

It works for me, if you use Firefox, including the Aurora and the website that you have accessed to directly. Google.de (I do not use the German page normally).

Try to clear the cookies of the site and maybe the Firefox cache. See also
