Thank you

  • Equipped with a sound card has lost after upgrading graphics card

    Hello

I lost my sound system after updating my video card, a Sapphire HD 5450 1 GB DDR3.

I already tried to get in my BIOS, but I need to enter a password and I don't know the password?

Also, I upgraded my BIOS before moving my graphics card. The latest BIOS for an HP dc7700 SmallFormFactor.

Please help me, I can't play without audio... There is no fun to play games without sound...

    Hello:

It is a problem common when you add a video card to your trusty old dc series business offices that were not intended to this new technology as HDMI.

Not only don't the PC think you added a video card, but he also thinks that you have added a sound card since there is a HDMI audio chip on your video card Platinum.

If the PC BIOS disabled onboard video and integrated audio system.

This is why you have no sound.

So, now you know why it's happened, let's go in and solve the problem in a jiffy.

Restart your PC and press the F10 key to the HP welcome screen to enter the BIOS.

Go to the Advanced menu and find the onboard audio setting (appeared as if by magic, now that you've added the video card).

It will be set to Disabled. Change the setting to "Enabled". Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and resave the settings when you exit.

Reset and you will have your on-board audio back.

To clear the BIOS password, shut down the PC, unplug and remove the Green password on the motherboard jumper.

Restart the PC without the flying connection and the P/W should be cleared.

Then shut down the computer, unplug it and replace the Green jumper on the pins that you deleted since and he put it back together.

  • I want to install a sound card but...

My HPE - 390 t office uses the Realtek HD Audio Manager.  I recently bought a set of Corsair SP2500 2.1 speaker system, which the manufacturer recommends the use of a sound card for the best sound quality.  However, the speaker system sounds good just by using its Board of Directors.

The manufacturer leaves a slot for adding a sound card on the card. (I'm too lazy to open the pc to watch).

It takes about 10 seconds to open and to look at, but to see with the software I suggest to use the Speccy program.

Install you it and it gives all the technical features of your computer.  If you click motherbaord, it will display all the slots, what is in them, width of bus, whatever you need.

  • Dimension 2400, adding a video card

    Hello

I'm new to this discussion and just hope I am posting this in the correct place. I have an older Dell Dimension 2400 with an integrated video card. I'm running 2 monitors. Problem is that when I install the video card, VGA - slot PCI, the machine loads, see the new map, then flashes all for sure!

Is there a jumper on the motherboard that should be placed or a setting in the BIOS/setting (looked everywhere here), that I need?

Thx for the help and time with this frustrating problem to anyone. I ran 2 monitors on all of my machines simply by adding the video card, but not this machine.

It is running Win XP Professional.

    Michael

The Dimension 2400 BIOS default setup an Auto setting for the video.  If you must have both integrated and the functional PCI card, you must go to the system configuration (F2 during the self-test after the start-up of the machine) and change the setting on board to force the computer to send video to the built-in port.

  • Adding (not replace) sound card

Each computer previously owned included extra slots for expansion cards - not if my Pavilion HPE-112Y, product #VT637AAR-ABA. What's worse, the sound Manager is not a separate card but is integrated into the motherboard - and this device is upward. I still can't play audio files via Windows Media Player, Quicktime, or other programs, but the audio device apparently incorrectly reports the type of file to other programs. This sabotaged my ability to load sound in Poser 8 that I could do otherwise.

With the help of support staff to ask, I ruled out all other possibilities (I just downloaded and installed the latest codec for Windows 7 pack, which excluded the last alternative cause. "I'm NOT lack of codecs).

Replace the welded sound device is out of the question, so how can I add a sound card?

    Madmilt, welcome to the forum.

This is the page for Specifications of the motherboard of the computer.  Look at the section called "Expansion Slots.  It shows that you have 3 each PCI Express x 1 slots for a sound card.  These locations are faster than the former PCI ports.   The map in the link I provided has hundreds of good reviews and is rated at 4 eggs with an excellent price. Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it. They will give you the straight scoop without exaggeration of the manufacturer.

You can try to completely uninstall the audio device driver and put it back in place before buying a card.

  • My line in order to work for onboard audio or added sound card, how can I fix?

Win XP SP3. No sound can be heard, or saved from, line input on the its Audigy SE card or on board Sound Max.  I'm 100% sure the cable (several have been tried) a sound source (several were found to be) works correctly and plugged into the correct line in jack. Audio out works very well. Drivers for sound cards are up to date. The properties of entry and exit in volume (start/Accessories/Entertainment/volume control) are correct as well (not selected line, no button mute on, sliders to 100%.). I suspect that the problem is to do with XP;  a bad configuration or something missing. Help, please.

  • audio input read several sound cards

    Heey everybody,

I have a problem. I want to read two different signals at the same time of 2 different cards. 1 sound card internal of my computer laptop and 1 usb sound card.

So I used the VI of its acquisition.

Reading the two signals at the same time is not a problem until I took more than about 30 seconds measurement time for. He gets a buffer overrun.

So I tried to do the following:

I did this with 1 signal first and it worked perfectly, every second he has updated.

But when I added the second signal he wanted only to read the first second of the first signal and then it got stuck, and I had to stop closing software. And then the killing labview with the windows taskmanagement thingey.

Someone has an idea what is the problem?

    Greetings,

    Jory

OK, never mind, I have solved. I made the largest buffers (audio input configure block) and now it works like a charm

  • Error message during the installation of the sound card: an error occurred during the installation of the device__ "e/s operation was abandoned because of a thread exit or an application request." _

    Hello
I can't update the audio driver on my PC. When you try to install the driver (new sound card), I get the following message is displayed:
There was a problem installing this hardware:

An error occurred during the installation of the device
"The IO operation has been abandoned due to a thread exit or an application request."
The driver worked fine on this computer until a month ago. I think it's more a problem of Windows installation as a driver issue, but I do not know where to go from here. Any suggestions?
    Thank you
I tried to install the sound card on different PCI expansion slots. I get the same message trying to install a USB sound card. The sound properties in the control panel are classified outside (non-active)

    Hello Smachbub,

Thank you for your message.  Let's try one or two different things.  Please follow step by step.

    Click on Device Manager.

Select the 'Drivers' tab and click 'uninstall '.
After uninstalling the driver, reboot and go to your computer manufacture or website of the manufacturer of the sound card and download/install the latest driver for your device.
If problems persist, try this same process as a new profile.
    2. to create a new profile:
Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > select 'manage '.
Double-click 'Users and groups' > select 'users '.
In the right pane, right click and select 'add a new user '.

  • External sound card

I have a Dell Inspirion 154 and I am looking to buy an external sound card that is moderately priced. Preferably one that is plug-and-play that has some memory own ts.

I am looking to buy an external sound card that is moderately priced.

Hello. 'At moderate prices"can mean anything according to the repository, but you can see all prices devices in a store like Amazon.

The term "sound card" itself not much sense unless we speak a real card that fits into a slot inside the case of the desktop Tower. Since we're not talking a real map, you are looking for a device that has some features & has a sound card.

All devices usb audio have the basic function of a sound card, which is to convert the audio digital and vice versa (DAC and ADC). In addition, it is of what features you need to accomplish your goal. The cheapest have a mono mic input jack and a stereo output jack. They are all plug-and-play and use the audio usb driver Windows, so no driver to install.

If you need a stereo input line - are looking for a device with an input specifically for the line-in Jack, because you can not use the mic socket based on these devices as a line-in Jack.

If you are looking for a branded consumer product, check out the Sound Blaster 5.1 which has a line-in Jack.

If you are looking for other characteristics or a better quality product, let me know, but I don't quite know who have their own memory. If we were talking about a card actual sound, more accomplished had dsp processing chips to take the load of the processor of the computer when you perform tasks such as adding reverb or other effects to audio, and they had a synthesizer chip to convert MIDI into sound. I don't know if usb devices can reproduce these hardware features.

  • Type of sound card want 700 060ea

I'm looking at the specs of 060ea HP Envy 700 and cannot see the "sound card". I compose music for a living online and this info is required to properly set up my new software EWQLSO (money).

I'm not particularly happy with the card its installed with this model - it's a trumpet sounds like an Irish flute with a leak and a clarinet sound like a demi-etrangle pigeon - I know that the software I mentioned above will solve this problem, but it's still a bit disappointing.

    Hi stephenlines,

The IDT audio installed on HP systems is not compatible ASIO. Beats Audio isn't a good solution in real time recording.

Not sure if that's where you were going with your question, but I work with musicians and could not use its IDT for this purpose. I now use the ASIO for all to eliminate latency when adding instruments to the records. Bat has terrible latency characteristics.

  • Recommendation of the sound card to install inside on my Dell desktop computer

    Hi all

I got the card from his Creative Audigy 2 SB installed in my PC desktop Dell Dimension original (plug in my profile), but after 8 years, it Kinky and I replaced it with a 2nd hand Creative SB PCI128 (Ensoniq ES1371) sound card for USD$ 15. However, the sound quality is so much poorer, I don't think I can live with that.

I went to the fair of information TECHNOLOGY, but the new sound cards seem to cost a lot.

As I am able to get second hand sound cards, can you recommend I buy? Is there anything else I should be looking? All cards sound is of the same size? My turn still has plenty of space/slots I think.

I can be able to get good deals on second hand sound cards, if I knew how much I should pay and what I'm looking for. My budget is USD $50 for a good map its second hand. Is - this unrealistic?

    Thank you

    Nellie of Singapore

Always include your PC model number and the operating system on any position of the initial problem.  Your profile is not where to post this.

There is no new model SoundBlaster PCI sound cards available.  The Audigy 2 If is the single new SoundBlaster PCI sound card.

The Dell supplied Audigy 2 soundcards that were provided were model cards "Audigy 2ZS.  You can get a used one of the same model.  e bay listings used Audigy 2ZS sound cards and the other SoundBlaster Audigy series PCI type sound cards (don't you not a PCIe type).  They are mostly under US $20.

  • Update sound card driver

Mac 10.10.5 attempt installation of teaching textbooks algebra. Attention box TT tells me that there is no sound card.  No problems with other programs. Customer support TT tells me that I have to update the drivers... where and how can I do this? I thought that I had everything set to update automatically, and all must be current.

Their support staff obviously have no idea what they are talking about. Is it supposed to be compatible with the version of Mac OS X you are using?

How can I get the sound card to play on the speakers of the car?

Usually connecting the phone to the car system - particularly at the point where you can play the music usually connects the Maps app

There is a switch at the bottom of the maps app with a speaker symbol that allows you to toggle between having the sound coming through the phone or Bluetooth

I have a jack online, but who goes to the speakers who plays what is already on the PC. I tried to put an Audiology Sound Blaster card in the motherboard, but it does not fit. (The motherboard is IMP87-MP)

Thank you, @jwhite10110s.  WOW, you did it! It is necessary for me to help you with the best results.

You want to buy a PCI Express x 1 sound card.  There are three of these locations on the motherboard.  Creative Sound Blaster Audigy RX PCIe card his 7.1 with headphone amplifier High Performance may be what you need.
