  • Cyan fails from one page to another on Officejet Pro K8600

I have an Officejet Pro K8600, installed on XP. A nearly full cyan stopped working in the middle of printing from one page to the other - tried all the patches.  No msg error - says all cartridges are full. Buy HP new cartridge, always did the same thing. I uninstalled and reinstalled this morning. First page of diagnostics showed labour cyan on the first block, broken on the second line. Then would not work again at all. Do I need a new print head? The health of the print head shows that both are OK. Thank you! Very frustrating. It's a good printer!

The Officejet Pro K8600 has ink cartridges that are separated from the print head Assembly.  The pipes of the unit ink cartridges in the front lower left of the printer internal for the print heads.  With this type of printing mechanism, a print quality problem, for example a missing color, usually resides in the printheads of the unit.

I'll try to run 3 levels of the print head cleaning utility in the part of the Toolbox of the software for this printer.  Thus, there is a document with steps to help solve a problem of print quality in the K8600.  The document can be accessed here.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Multi-page scanning on Officejet Pro 8600 with bucket

I had to replace a process of multi HP 6400 series with HP Officejet Pro 8600. With the old software that he would ask if there was other pages when you use the flatbed scanner option. I can't understand how to do this using the new software and it automatically creates the file after the 1 page. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello

You can scan multiple pages in the flat glass using the HP scanning software.

Open the HP Officejet Pro 8600 software and click on the Scan option document or photo.

Select PDF, check the box show the preview and the resolution defined as 300 dpi or less.

Click a Scan and use the button Add Pages to add extra pages.

  • HP OfficeJet Pro K8600: HP OfficeJet Pro K8600 prints blank pages

Everything was fine until I ran out of YELLOW ink.

Buy HP high capacity yellow and installed. The fact that this problem started after I installed a new print cartridge may be a coincidence).

First my colors got the weakest and pretty soon I was only black printing.

I ran all my alignment and tests of the head - my printhead health displays a status of YELLOW for both.

Today I am printing a document and then some BLACK ink page disappeared.

Now when I do a print - test, a request, etc. all I get are blank pages.

I don't use a lot of this printer. Maybe an average of 20 pages per week

Hey there! @jktx, thanks for the reply.

As you mentioned that you got the message that your printer is out of warranty.

And does not give you the phone number for support.

I'll send you the phone number for support in a private message.

Please check your Inbox for more details.

I tried every setting I can think.  I unchecked all boxes that says it will analyze each page in a separate document.

How to scan multiple pages of a document?  It makes me crazy!

I tried to run the scan of the computer and the all-in-one control panel.  No matter what I tried it still scans each page in a separate document.

  • HP Officejet Pro K8600: Power light + resume light flashing after printing only one Page

After trying to print a document of several page, the printer produced a page and then the power light and the resume light (page feed) Flash. I also tried to print multiple copies of a page, but that leads to the same result.

I can get the lights extinguish by turning printer off then turn it back on. But it will always print that one front page the same lights begin to Flash. I did six times in a row just to print a six page document.

I went through all the steps in troubleshooting HP software. Not like searching for cleaning print heads, re-seats cartridges, etc., fragments of paper. Nothing seems to work.

    @Bob_Headrick

Thank you for your response. However, none of the suggestions could solve the problem. ALTHOUGH the light guide troubleshooting that you provided was close to the solution.

I came across the solution by reading the PDF manual for the printer. On page 77, it describes the power led + resume light flashing. One of the causes for this using EXPIRES of CARTRIDGES of INK, CARTRIDGES RECHARGEES or NON HP CARTRIDGES.

WARNING: It is important to note that if your printer is still under warranty, DO NOT DO THIS. HP notes in the manual using this substitution can void the warranty against damage caused by the use of faulty ink cartridges, obsolete or not allowed.

    SOLUTION:

While the power light and button resume flashing, press and hold the power button and press the button repeat 3 times. This replaces the "apparent" internal error message to use the cartridges you have installed. It may also cause a print cartridge alignment page.

    MY OPINION:

It is important to note the HP cautioned against it, it FIXED MY PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY! I know that the cartridges that I have installed are in agreement. Like many HP owners out there, I take advantage of sales and have stored on cartridges. I guess some may "expires" before you install it. In my view, the idea of "expiring" cartridges also somewhat falls into this column to "How can do us buy more ink?" What kind of market we create where it's cheaper to buy a new printer than to buy a new set of cartridges/toners? BUT it's a slippery slope... let's not go there.

This forum is for Acrobat Forms created using the Acrobat Forms toolbar and the JavaScritpt of Acrobat.

It seems that your form has been created with LiveCycle Designer and this program uses a different syntax of JavaScirpt.

The total formula for page 2 is:

    Sum (F.P1. NumericField1 [1]

    , NumericField2 [0], NumericField2 [1], NumericField2 [2], NumericField2 [3], NumericField2 [4], NumericField2 [5], NumericField2 [6], NumericField2 [7] NumericField2 [8], NumericField2 [9], NumericField2 [10] NumericField2 [11], NumericField2 [12] NumericField2 [13], NumericField2 [14],

    NumericField2 [15])

You must use the full reference of the subtotal field on page 1 of your amount to the sum of the fields of page 2.

But it seems that you have also an error for your total found on 1 page.

You can find more help in the LiveCycle Designer forum.

    Here's my LOGIN_TABLE has 3 columns, more
    1 user name
    2 password
    3. type.
The TYPE has 2 values, employee and admin.
When the type is admin they should be redirected to page 2,
reaining IE users used must be redirected to page 3.
How can I do this? Please give some suggestions.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Gurujothi

Check it out. Guru user lands on Page 1, other land users to Page 2.

    Here's how it was done.

    a. the CustomAuthentication function returns a Boolean, but does not store the username anywhere. So I changed it.
    b. has created a named FUSER element of the Application (you can change the name and code as you wish).
    c. change the CustomAuthentication function to include the following line just before the return statement

    APEX_UTIL.SET_SESSION_STATE('FUSER',upper(p_username));

So now the user name is stored and used in the session state.
    d. added the branch on Page 1, Onload before header that has Page 2 as its target.
    e. does the conditional branch using the lettering element FUSER. The condition is FUSER <> 'GURU', so that other users are directed to the Page 2.

  • column of a link with the ability to send the user on several different pages

    using apex 4.0

    In my example:
User: Secretary for a large company in charge of the HR database, enter new employees, reorganizing the employees, managers, etc.).
Employee: A person working for the company whose information is in the database.

The problem: my client wants the data divided into several subcategories, so, for example, it would be like sales, managers, etc., using the human resources database. The main page of this project contains a table that lists all the company employees, low to high. There is a column of navigation with several links to predefined reports filter that filters data on the question whether the employee in the database is a seller, Manager, etc.. If the user clicks on the link change, it will take them to a page master detail where the upper part is general information and background tasks of the employee. The problem is that, according to his level, there may be additional details that the user will want to change, such as if the employee is responsible for, the user will also want to see another table a list of employees by the Manager. There is also a second level of managers who will have a table of managers of this person manages. The dream is that there is a list of links above the tabular presentation, which will allow the user to choose what table they want to see. I thought about the following:

    1. create several copies of the home page, one for each subcategory, so that she will be the link change correct.
Positives - Simple, easy, I know how to.
Negative - would like it to appear on the same page, such that if the user deletes / adds a column in a single page, this change would occur on all other pages. I also have to make the same changes on several pages, one is required.

    2. create a text field hidden on the page that records the last link, what they clicked. When the user clicks on the link change, some kind of javascript selects the right page to go to in view of what is in the box.
Positives - seems simple enough, but I have not tapped into javascript a lot
Negative - not for sure if it is even feasible, would need help

    3. create a subpage of master-detail, that holds all the necessary tables and hide those that are not. When the user clicks on a link, the link triggers the current table to hide and another to appear.
good points - all in the same place, that one page to link to main page
negatives - it would require at least 5 tables on one page and I do not know how the apex would like that. I also don't like the idea of the page calling itself when the user is looking at senior managers and to display a lower Manager / employee.

    4. a creative method / useful / incredibly simple bore by a user of this forum.

Because I'm in a very short, customer review period next week, I implémenterai #1 because it is the easiest and most straight forward, but I would like to know your thoughts to make much cleaner.

I don't know if it's the best way to accomplish what you want, but it worked for me.

Change the link in the column to specify the following for a target URL, where EMP_NO and EMP_TYPE are columns of the report.

    JavaScript:apex. Submit('#EMP_NO##EMP_TYPE#')

In the processing of the page after several branches to different pages depending on the type of employee. For example,.

    Branch to Page 2: Condition = instr (: REQUEST, 'SALES') > 0
    Branch to Page 3: Condition = instr (: REQUEST, "MANAGER") > 0
    Branch to Page 5: Condition = instr (: REQUEST, 'PRÉSIDENT') > 0

Since the: APPLICATION also has the EMP_NO, you can use this to set the value of the EMP_NO for the target page, pull up to the employee's file.

  • How can I add different page headers on odd and even pages?

    Hello.

I use Indesign CS5.5 to create a printed book. I would like to add a page for every even page header and a different page header to every odd page. And have the ability to hide the header on some pages. Someone knows how to do this?

    Thanking you.

You must create a master page, spread to the side of the pages. If you apply this all of your pages, items that you apply to the master will then be applied to each of your pages. If you want to include dynamic elements, (e.g. Page number) you can do going on Type > insert special character > markers > current Page number.

All the pages you do not want the header on, you cannot apply the master page.

  • Add blurs Image Type on the Page

    Hello!

I had this problem in CS4 and CS5 for over a year and have not been able to find an answer, or someone else with the issue. Help!

In some cases, when I add pictures to a page (size does matter) the type on this page will be blurry or fuzzy. I have checked all the settings and can't find any consistency as to why it happens. Printing and document to PDF display fuzzy text and makes the page look different from the rest of the document.

  • a single audio file are available on different pages?

I have an audio file in my paper that gets read at different points of navigation via buttons. The problem is that I have to put that audio file on each page (this is a transcript of the audio), because it cannot access the audio buttons on the same page. So instead of a single file, which can be accessed at different points of reference on each page, I have to place this file on each page so that it playable from any page. I tried to put the audio file on a master page, but the buttons could not find when you create an action; the audio should be placed directly on the page. Any ideas? I want to access the same file from different pages and want the file incorporated, not separated from the document.

Unfortunately, in the last version of InDesign, buttons can only trigger objects on the Board even in my tests.

I believe that in earlier versions of InDesign (CS4 and earlier?), buttons could trigger objects on other pasta spread as well. Engineers may have found problems in doing this and added to this restriction.

You're really pushing the limits of technology, and I'm running out of ideas to suggest.

  • Branch to different pages of a SINGLE button, click

    Hello

I have a home page with several boxes and a button, 'run the report '. According to on the user's selection, I will get 10 different combinations. Each combination will lead to another page. So I need to send the user to 10 different pages according to the combination that he chose click of a button "Run report" at the end of the landing pages. How can I achieve this?

I tried to do by creating 10 branches with target to different pages & names different 'request' 10. Then I called a javascript function when the button "run report". In javascript, I used the function 'doSubmit (pRequest)' API JavaScript with the name of 'request' in the industry, I have created. But somehow, I'm missing something. I couldn't make it work.

Is there another way to do this? Any hint is appreciated.

    Thank you
    Booth.

Consider using a branch of the type 'Creates a branch to the Page identified by Item(Use Item Name) Page'. Fill out the Page element for the required page given the choices of the user id.

    Hi amber,

Create a process page "Before head" PL/SQL on your homepage. Check here the 'employment' user and redirect accordingly :-)

    Pseudocode

    DECLARE
    v_job tbl_user.col_job%TYPE;

    BEGIN

    select col_job into v_job from tbl_user where col_userid = :APP_USER;

    if v_job='Agent' then

    -- redirects to page1

    OWA_UTIL.redirect_url ('f?p='||:APP_ID||':1:'||:SESSION);

    elsif ..
    ..
    end if;

  • How to make tabs see the place selectively in different pages?

    Hello

I'm new to APEX and get my hands dirty now...

I have a standard set of tab called 'TS1', which has 2 tabs (say tab1 and tab2). Because the tabs are under "shared component", it seems that they are broadcast in all of 10 pages that I have.

How can I make the tabs appear selectively on different pages? For example, I want tab1 and tab2 showing upwards to page1-9, but NOT on page10. There is a 'conditions' (Type of Condition), but it has many types and I do not know how to use it.

    Please kindly help!

    Thank you very much
    Helen

    Helen:

Select "current page is contained in Expression... "for the Type of Condition
and then enter the page numbers whose tab is to the field of "Expression".
