Adding accounts on ACS using SNMP
Hi people,
I use ACS 4.2 and I was just wondering if it is possible to add user accounts by using snmpset? If so, anyone found any documentation on what needs to be done? I have the SNMP running on it and check with the ACS using snmpget.

Hi Shane,
It is unfortunately not possible. You cannot add users via SNMP.
However, you can add multiple users at once using RDBMS synchronization.

There is a problem with Firefox 'remembering' my Verizon residential account password. Using Firefox, I am obliged to enter my ID and password every time I closed my browser and then restart or close my e-mail for a while, even though I checked the option "keep me connected" significant given by Verizon. I spent a lot of time today working with the technical support of Verizon and they (and I) can verify that it's specific to Firefox and IE is not the case. So far, this seems to be limited to the connection from Verizon, but there may be other affected accounts protected online. I don't know how to add additional devices to my list of "trusted devices" in my Apple account. When I opened my account on Apple using my apple id, I see only my iphone6 listed as a "trusted device"; There is a button to edit, for example. deleting devices, but I can't, or I do not understand how to add my other devices to my approved devices - but is anyone know how to add my Mac and iPad to this list?

Using SNMP to number of requests by fax
I wish I could use SNMP to query and track the number of pages of the fax on my CM4540 printers.
Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so, what MIB and OID would be used.

This morning, I got my response from HP. Here's what I learned.
For access to archive printer MIB:
1. go to http://h20147.www2.hp.com/sppmain/
2. click on the link Public of Software Development Kits (SDK)
3. Select Laserjet and Digital Sender of the Kit Area drop-down box
4. navigate to LaserJet and Digital Sender > management of printers > printer specific MIB
5. sort the list of Legacy printers, then select the appropriate model
6. wait for the browser to refresh, and then click the download button
7. save the file on your machine and review
I tried saving and opening a without extension, seems that it is just a text file. It looks like some are .zip. Some are registered as .mib trying to open it in a CMD window on my machine. None of the files I was looking at was a text for SNMP OID objects. Perhaps you need to translate the information into an OID somehow.
Take a look and let me know if you can make progress more or not. Its been fun to discover all that we have learned so far.

We have projector beam; Spotlight on messaging worm. 7.5 & spotlight on Windows version 3.82.
I'm new to the spotlight. I was ask by management if Spotlight uses SNMP if so which version of the SNMP protocol? I don't see Windows SNMP service running so I don't think it's using SNMP, but I need to be certain.
If Spotlight does not use the Protocol SNMP uses this Protocol for monitoring and if I could have a link to read about how followed and trap works in Spotlight?

The latest version of spotlight on messaging was 7.9. However, version 8.0 exists as it was renamed "Unified Communications command Suite - Diagnostics.

I would like to know what specific OID to use to monitor the following using SNMP on a Nexus 5000:
-L' total CPU usage
-Power supply status
-Status of Fan chassis
The Nexus is quite different from other devices Cisco - any help will be appreciated!

I can delete an ARP by setting oid ' 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.22.1.4' to '2'.
But none of

I used this command to create a new ARP:

the answer:
SNMP response: reqid 16, errstat 11, erridx 1
ipNetToMediaEntry.1 = 1
errstat 11 is NOCREATION
And I used the tool "Mib Browser" to set a static ARP.
the answer is NOCREATION too.
I searched a lot of time, a lot of people have this problem,
someone said the oid ipNetToPhysicalPhysAddress or inetCidrRouteTable is alternative,
but our switch do not have these oids.
I can't find a solution.

'Registered user' promotions do not appear if the account is created using the dyn/admin interface

If the account is created using 'Personalization Administration' in dyn/admin then promotions such as 15% off home accents are not available to the user of this type to "promo/promotions.jsp.
This account is not considered "registered user" in promotion.
Any ideas how to fix such profiles?

GrantPromotions scenario gives a promotion to a newly registered user, when the anonymous user visits the site and registers on the site. He listens to atg.dps.Register DMS Message and adds that promotion of the activePromotions of the user profile property. Method of postCreateUser() of ProfileFormHandler will trigger this event of registry.
It seems that the ATG will not send this event of registry message when the profile is created from dyn/admin.

Adding accounts to Managed AD administrators for a user profile
Hi all
I have 2 different areas: one for the USA and one for EUROPE employees. Everyone has a business account that is used to log on to your workstation according to the location, but some users have an extra Admin account assigned to them to connect to preferred servers.
So, for example, a user on the USA domain has their regular account: jdoe and then an admin account: adminjdoe. If their employee profile is already bound to the domain USA how can I link their account admin also to their profile if its on the same domain? I create another area managed for accounts admin even if its on the same field of UAS? IE USAAdminDomain.
Hope this makes sense, please let me know if I need further clarification, or if anyone has any input on this.

It is thrown by the UID_ProfileServer model. You will find this model in a lot of the model where it searches the OOTB manage levels and if it's any other level, throw an exception "no determined to manage level." You will need to modify the templates in question. You can know which ones you're interested in running a query SELECT on DialogColumn where TableName is the table and the model is like '% unspecified manage level % '.
