• Violation of timing when adding code blocks parallel to each other in a FPGA SCTL

  Hey guys!

  I have a problem with my code inside a SCTL of running on an FPGA VI and hoped someone could help me.

  I work with a 120 MS/s ADC and write the data to the FPGA block of memory in a 120 MHz SCTL. Since the data has to be 'mixed' there is also a code to get the correct address (by first example data at address 0, second to address 20, 40 and so on until 2000, then I start with 1, 21...).

  I have a second block of code that later, when writing is completed, reads in the block of memory to perform some calculations (a linear slope of the signal interpolation)

  The two parties are implemented using pipelining (I say this because I think it would be the first response of the community), while if I compile only one, everyone needs about 7 to 8 ns to run, which means that they meet the requirements to run in my 120 MHz SCTL (8.33 ns).

  But when two blocks of code are in the same field of clock (whether in ore SCTL in two SCTLs using the same clock) from the FPGA VI I get a timing violation, saying that the code in the SCTL needs 17 ns (logical and delay routing) to run. It is not also show me the critcal way, just the SCTL. Because the code runs at the same time, I don't see why the delay of logic should increase (to 12 ns). The only way 2 code blocks communicate with each other are the memory of block and some shift registers so the path of Combinatorics is not increased.

  I already checked whether the SubVIs (I use one per block of code to avoid the lack of clarity, but they are different) are the problem. If the code in the SubVIs implemented directly in the FPGA hand VI it does not change the delay of logic.

  50% of the registers and the lut FPGA are used, the DSP48s of 5% and 50% of RAM block, so I don't think that the problem is something like the compiler finds not enough free slices to create fast paths.

  The main problem is not that the delay of routing increases, but the delay of logic.

  Does anyone have an idea what could cause this huge increase by delay time?

  I use labview 2011 and 12.4 Xilinx.

  Try not to put memory read the node within a box structure. Instead, you can always read from a fixed address, say 0, when the data are not all ready. Reading a memory will not damage your data contrary to push from a FIFO. If your memory by reading the node is inside a case structure, there will be a mux when data is passed outside this business structure, which will increase the delay of logic.

  In addition, I also recommend that you do not use the loop of the index 'i', if you are running at high clock frequency. This counter is seen to be 32-bit, and you probably don't have a memory that deeply. LV FPGA is to have logic check inside the read node memory address range, so width incorrect address can still be important. You can implement instead of your counter code which the width of the tip is appropriate.

  I tried to add a border on my site, and I looked the other related threads but can't seem to find a solution.

  border to the site open your master page with the selection active, click on the page area and change the size of the race to the size, you need and choose whatever the colour.

  If you need more that the page put the box in the right click of the master page and choose send to back... What size you need.

• Adding code to each line at the same time?

  Is it possible to do this? Instead of having to select 400 separate lines and put the list around them item code, is it possible to make it to each line individual all at once? I really hope that nothing. I'm sitting here thinking, "there must be an easier way." Please, tell me there!

  Is the problem that you have plain text of 400 lines, and you are wanting
  to wrap

  copy all the text in a separate empty file, then go in Edition > search
  and replace.

  Just a heads-up - I'm on a Mac, so if you're on a Windows computer, the
  keyboard shortcuts may vary a little.

  For the search field, enter the character of CR - on my Mac, I have to
  Hold down the command (probably the control in Windows) key while hitting
  Check back for it leaves the input field. That should put a line break
  in the search field.

  For the replacement field, enter this:

• Adding code hinting

  I want to add things to 'Tag' libraries, I guess?
  
  You know when you're in ASP VBScript or something and you press CTRL + SPACE it displays code hinting? Well, I use the same name for many types of objects and I was wondering if I can add things to it and customize it. This would help the wrath!

• Packaging with some types of code errors

  Hi all

  I have strange problems in packaging and running the application. Any time I get the functions to set the width/height/layout as shown here, I get the package.

  This code snippet does not cause the error to the packaging.

  Hi all

  An update.

  I used HorizontalFieldManagers and VerticalFieldManagers native and added code to manipulate the height, width, etc. This encoding in this style was the creation of internal classes for each instance of these objects.

  My total number of generated classes at above 100 and that's when I noticed the problem of packaging.

  I created the Custom Field Managers, custom label fields and was able to reduce the number of total compiled classes to about 50-60 and the problem disappeared.

• Book of bar codes

  I'm trying to set up a project for our users so that they can analyze documents from our warehouse for storage or future files (printed materials and customers or office workers) in our imaging system (DI) documents, using cover sheets. We currently do with our DI read text fields, however, sometimes our workflows do not read the text, paper may be digitized in offbeat, may have stains on it and maybe be scanned in the wrong, and we end up needing interference of the user to correct/change issues until documents go to their place of final storage.

  We experimented with barcode and found that if we added codes bar to the front page we could allow the system to DI search an entire page for a bar code and it read with an accuracy of 100%.

  So we created bar codes on our coversheets which would be calculated based on how a user fills in a field of particular text such as an ID of employee or a registration as a prison ID number, date of the event and the name of the shape type. This would dictate where the shape would be stored in the DI system. Our DI system important documents, reads the pages, if it finds a code bar he will assume this is page 1 of a document, the following process to read bar codes and determine how to complete the meta-data in our system of DI and store it accordingly or by email to a user to tell them that a user must add all missing items.

  This works perfectly if you use Adobe Livecycle Designer to create the form and insert the paper bar codes and put in code to let the code bar to the value of another field, however there is a catch. The user filling the front cover and then print MUST have Adobe Pro. If all users within our Organization must have Adobe Pro and not use any of its features, it could be very expensive. And... How about if the public must fill out a form and send it to us, they would also need Adobe Pro. At the moment we are talking about 20 different barcodes May 30 and forms, however, if all departments within our Organization began to use it to save time, we could talk about hundreds.

  If we could delegate a person by Department as being the person to create the forms and have the 'Reader Extension' Livecycle Designer form for each of these people, we might be able to save cost, since that's what this whole procedure is supposed to do in the first place. However, I don't know if I can buy a plug-in for LiveCycle Designer (I ss4) and how much it would be for forms "how" I would be even allowed to use it, or is it unlimited.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  Would it be if my users buy a license and install Adobe Reader Standard that I would not need this license (for internal only I guess because someone in the audience would not have this version)?

• Accordion JQuery collapse setting code on the open page help

  Hello, I added a JQuery accordion to one of my pages (.) (PHP), which works well enough, but its been something, although not a major concern, is however annoys the hell out of me!

  I added code so that the panels are all initially collapsed, so that other code to crop the box content only (instead of leaving tons of white space at the end), which works but annoyingly, when you 1st click on the page, the 1st Panel is still open for a few seconds before it stops.

  Is there anything I can change my code so that it does not? I tried different ways shown on stack overflow, but none seem to work with the code "of cultures to the content" (He knocks it out for some reason any)

  Total noob users must be able to link a text of an After Effects project.

  It would be ideal that After Effects can hoover the text and put some pieces in some source texts.

  In the JavaScript reference Guide, there are a lot of usage of the word VAR as the first word in a line of code.
