Select to_char (sysdate, ' ' MON-DD-YYYY HH24:MI:SS) twice;
Either ware that timestamp is the different type of data to date that can store milliseconds as well.

    Can shed you some light on why this is happening?

    I just confirmed the suspicion that precedes in a web service test.

    So the answer is to change the option on the processor to add the current Date and timestamp will be correct for each request.

  • with problems of casting timestamp to date

    Hello

    So here's what I have... I have a timestamp in my database and I need to return it as a date (because what used to work in WL8.1 now gives me a java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: could not convert this to java.sql.Date in WL10). If I change my query as follows:

    I'm not running my old query to get a sample:
    Select col_key, col_time, col_other
    FROM table1 where col_key = "a".

    ... and I get to col_time * January 11, 2013 1:18:04.354261 PM'*... well.

    So, I take this value and I proceed as follows to test my format:

    Select CAST (to_timestamp (January 11, 2013 1:18:04.354261 PM', ' DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS.ff PM') AS DATE) double;
    works perfectly, returns the date: 11/01/2013 13:18:04

    In view of the foregoing I apply to my old query:
    Select col_key, CAST (to_timestamp (col_time, ' MM/DD/YYYY hh:mi:ss.ff PM' ") AS DATE), col_other
    FROM table1 where col_key = "a".

    and I get a "ORA-01858: a non-digit character was found here where was waiting for a digital".

    ... where am I wrong?

    Thank you

    Well, what you are trying to convert a string to a timestamp and then convert the timestamp to date. That works, if you pass a string.

    If this is not the case... then how to return a timestamp as a date column?

    I already showed you in my sample code!

    I tried to_date but there is no formatting for milliseconds so why everyone suggests to_timestamp... and if this does not work then what can I do? WL10 convert timestamps java.sql.Date, so I need the request to give him a Date instead of a timestamp.

  • Adding timestamp with all the elements of a table 1 d

    Hello

    I want to add a stamp in real time with all the elements of a 1 d array before writing on a worksheet.

    kindly guide me how to do this.

    Best regards

    RASHID

    Hi rachid,.

    Whence this table? Is a device for the acquisition of data AND measurement data?

    If yes you can just change the type of waveform data, where a timestamp is included.

    However, you can also create a waveform on your table 1 d using construction wavefrom, as here:

  • Adding timestamp to the worksheet

    I'm setting up a spreadsheet of the readings of temperature using DAQ Assistant. When I try to add a timestamp the value placed in the worksheet is always 77. What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you!

    Ben

    In fact, you do not use the DAQ Assistant.

    You use what is called the wizard of DAQNavi I've never heard before.

    But the problem is in your code where you get the timestamp value while converting to string.  You then convert the string into a byte array.  So if your time is 13:01, you now have a '1' string ': ' '0' '1' 'space' 'P' "M" and they appear as the ASCII equivalents.  The values in the ASCII array gets converted to an array of doubles and a type of dynamic data.

    The 77 value is the value ASCII for "M".  My guess it is afternoon and you basically send the value of 77 for the M character to your data file.

    Try to get rid of the express VI and type of dynamic data and convert LabVIEW Real data types in your code as soon as you can.  You should probably convert all your numbers to strings from the beginning because that's ultimately what you want to see in your text file.  By converting strings, you can control the format of each of your pieces of data, then to combine these elements of the string in a table that you send writing to a spreadsheet file.

  • Is there a possibility that MusicBrainz can be added as a data provider for Windows Media Player

    When you use Windows Media Player, I was hurt a lot to identify my music. A lot of music I have is not available in the Microsoft music meta service database. What gives? Would be nice if Microsoft could be added to their database. MusicBrainz is a big data provider for Windows Media Player and would make it easier for information about the available media. Data MusicBrainz are permitted in the public domain and some under Creative Commons (CC) license. I don't think that Rovi has a contract saying to Microsoft data to use. I can cite other data in addition to the AMG providers: Journal of CD Japan, CD newspaper China, ZACR DBS and feedback from users. I can almost guarantee you if Microsoft used the MusicBrainz data, Windows Media Player would be much easier for the Organization of the music. Data MusicBrainz are much better quality than WMP user feedback data.

    Advice how to fix this without compromising the total recovery?

    TKS a lot!

    Hello

    The problem is caused because it looks 'standby_file_management' database parameter is set to MANUAL, so a new added file on primary are not created in the standby mode.

    For more information about this parameter can be found:

    https://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E18283_01/server.112/e17110/initparams247.htm

    If you set it to AUTO on the main database, you will not encounter issues.

    ALTER system set standby_file_management = auto;

    How to solve current problems;

    * Pending, create a data file

    alter database create datafile  '/UNNAMED00161'.as''D:\ORACLE\ORADATA\ORCL2010I\USERS20.DBF'';

    * Start apply

  • Conversion of TIMESTAMP to Date?

    Hi all

    I have this little materialized view where I use a session variable to fill.

    Say that I've seen like this.

    Select date, account, product, sum (balance) in the glbalance if date = "VALUEOF (NQ_SESSION.user_entered_date)" Grouper group by date, account, product

    Ideally, the SQL should look like: select date, account, product, sum (balance) in the glbalance if date = ' 28 / 02/2013 ' group by date, account, product

    I have a command prompt in the dashboard that fills the variable user_entered_date of query. but I defualted to a SystemDate in the repository.

    I have a report and this leads to a page of a dashboard. Whenever I open the page, it gives me an error. But when I select a date in the command prompt and run the report, and it works well.
    Its only when I open the page or the dashboard at the start, it is in error as syntax incorecct. I give the example below...

    The statement that is issued for the view in the present case is

    SET the VARIABLE user_entered_date =' TIMESTAMP "2013-02-28 00:00:00"'

    If date = "TIMESTAMP" 2013-02-28 00:00:00 "
    I'm not able to remove this word TIMESTAMP that is causing the error. How to do this?
    I have all the date columns in all the tables as DATETIME format only.

    When to start to choose the date at the COMMAND prompt, then SQL is published as: If date = ' 2013-02-28 00:00:00 ' is correct and properly executed.

    How remove the TIMESTAMP Word when I opened at the start of the dashboard... Any help?

    Current_date as good as sysdate as in Oracle.

    Use this
    SELECT dates.master_date 'DOMAIN' where dates.master_date = current_date

    For error; Difficulty is

    SELECT dates.master_date 'DOMAIN' where dates.master_date = cast (' 28 / 02/2013 ' as date)

  • Adding timestamp to the dumpfile. Why do we need this space?

    11.2.0.3/RHEL 5.4

    When you run expdp on Linux, I tried to add the timestamp for the dumpfile and the following syntax worked.
    DUMPFILE= PCFS_SIT-`date '+%d-%b-%Y'`_%u.dmp
    There should be a space after the keyword date. Without the space, you will get the following error
    $ -ksh: date+%d-%b-%Y: not found [No such file or directory]
    Why is this?

    Hello
    When you type

    Date + %d - %b - %Y

    ksh (or depending on the shell you are using) looking for a file called date and then accepts various parameters to format this date

    When you type

    Date + %d - %b - %Y

    ksh search a file called date + %d - %b - %Y

    that does not exist - and throws the error.

    Kind regards

  • Adding files of data in environment dataguard

    Hi gurus,

    I have a doubt regarding the data file adding a table space which lies in environmental protection data.

    My oracle database is install in oracle 10 g 2 on windows 64-bit server. I have a physical primary data and data base of DR.
    I'll add the data file in the primary database. All my data files located in the directory "C:/oradata/data file / $Month_Name.

    Now, to add the new data file, I create a new directory under file C:/oradata/data / named November and add the data file in the directory from November .

    1 Will add new folder named November will automatically reflected in the database of DR also. or I have to go to the doctor and add the same directory and then add the data file in the primary database.

    2. when I add the primary database data file, it will affect the DR database? Or the DR database will synchronize automatically?

    Please provide me with the step by step procedure.

    can someone provide me steps to follow, so that primary and DR will be synchronized?

    Hello

    The directory not created on the database ensures if create you it on the primary database.
    Let me give you an example. Suppose the data files on the standby database are currently at the location 'D:\oracle\std\data_5' and now you need to create another directory called 'data_11' as 'D:\oracle\std\data_11', then on the database pending, set the parameter "db_file_name_convert' as shown below:

    db_file_name_convert='D:\oracle\P01\sapdata5\','D:\oracle\std\data_5\','D:\oracle\P01\BTABD_11','D:\oracle\std\data_11'

    Db_file_name_convert syntax:

    db_file_name_convert='','','',''

    Note: parameter db_file_name_convert must be set to the standby database and is a static parameter. So, you have to bounce the database pending after setting it.

    It could be useful! Please examine fence by providing appropriate points if you feel that your question has been answered.

    I can do this with the expression of the Groove.

  • Convert unix timestamp to date after the change to daylight saving time

    Hello

    in one of the products, we use internal Scheduler stores dates (and times) in a format Unix, which is seconds since January 1, 1970. We used this SQL to extract the effective date:

    To_char (t.next_fire_time /(24*60*60*1000) + to_date('19700101020000','yyyymmddhh24miss'), 'yyyymmddhh24miss')

    Everything worked well until that time has changed this weekend from UTC + 2 to UTC + 1 (we are located in Eastern Europe). Since then, the above query returns an hour later than planned.

    I.e. of timestamp * 1320067800000 * is returned as * 20111031153000 * even thought is correct (and the actual time, the event was planned) * October 31, 11 PM 02.30.16.000000 *.

    I found queries like this on various forums and nobody seems to care of DST. Is this a configuration problem in the DB or is this a bug in our code?

    Your problem is coded hard 2 hours shift:

    Hello

    You use CP4? Then, it's really simple:

    • Insert a text caption
    • Add to this the caption text system variables

      $$cpInfoCurrentDateString$ $ and

      $$cpInfoCurrentTime$ $

    • in the properties of the text caption, Options, choose "display for the rest of the project.

    The date and time added will be those of the system on the PC (so they must be good values
