Addons are missing

When I reset firefox today, updated.
After that it's over, I noticed that was missing all the information in my profile except cookies and bookmarks.

I was able to set the options back to what they were most of the time, but I can't find my modules at all. I checked the default folders and none of them seem to have either.
Desperately trying to find them because some of them had important information or gain of time that has been built over the past year.

When you reset Firefox and a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks, history, cookies, passwords, data form) are automatically imported and the current profile folder will be moved on the desktop to a folder "Old data Firefox".

Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, Pref.) that you have made are lost and must be redone.

It is best to reinstall your extensions.

Note that it is possible to recover more data from the old profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem.

  • I found a bug. All my addons are missing

For some reason, all of my addons are missing. And since I sync all my settings between three computers, they all disappeared from these browsers as well! Yes, they are all compatible with the new Firefox 29 or 28, regardless of this new it is.
Now, I downloaded those I can find. Some of them I had to watch for a long time get the one I wanted, and now I can't find them.
This is the first major problem I've ever had with Firefox, but it's a doozy...
The addons are gone for good. I tried everything I can think of to recover. I'm writing this to let you know that there certainly is a problem with the new version.

That was plenty of themes or Personas (light themes)

The latter (light themes) are stored in a pref in the prefs.js file, not an extension.

Are there any numbered pref-# .js files in the Firefox profile folder?

  • All the addon icons are missing in the window customize

I use FF 3.6.18 on XP, Vista and Win7. Given that FF itself upgrade 3.6.18, Miss all kinds of icons of the addon. Needless to say most of the addons cannot work unless that icon there to click. When I went to the [toolbar Customize] window to drag the icons réécrirait tool/menu/status bars, I find that ALL my icons missing addon. The FF default icons are there, but all the addon icons are missing. I've seen a lot of messages from people with the same problem as FF4 running, but it is not only a problem with version 4. Most of the answers provided were advised going to the window to customize and dragging that icons back out - obviously written by people who have not been read the question very carefully. Others recommend clicking the [restore default icons] button. They did not read the question with much attention either. I have this problem on my PC, those running XP, Vista and 7. Yes, I already ran ladies of virus and spyware, and that has not helped one of my PCs. reinstall the addons is no help either. Since the problem is on all of my PCs in various operating systems and upgraded to FF4 seems to make things worse, it looks like a bug in FF. Most of my friends who use Firefox have the same problem. It is a bug, or is it repairable? Does anyone know how to solve this?

After, with great difficulty, eliminating the motor leads from my system, I tried half a dozen other things, but ultimately never gave up is fixed without wiping my hard drive clean. However, the latest update of Firefox (3.6.24) solved the problem! on all my computers! Don't know what you people at Mozilla has done, but thank you, thank you, thank you. No idea what caused the problem, or what fixed it, but it's a happy camper now.

  • email and electronic mail files are missing... How to bring them back?

My Thunderbird account suddenly disappeared. I have Thunderbird back, but all of my saved emails are missing. Some of the Inbox went back to June 20, returned in a single account, but all the others are missing. Sent folder is empty like the others. I can find where the files are located on the computer, but I don't know how to bring back them to Thunderbird, if I'm right.

I don't know if I've been hacked or whether it is a quirk that can be fixed. If anyone can help me, I'll be really grateful. Thank you!!!

My best guess what happened was Thunderbird lost track of your profile (for some reason any) and started with a new clean profile.
You could recover the existing profile, but since you already took the trouble to recreate your accounts, it is not necessary.

I can find where are all the emails/files, but I can't find a way to restore them.

    Install this add-on.
    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Thunderbird/addon/ImportExportTools/

Then you can it use to import existing e-mail files of the old profile. Note that e-mail files are those without file extension, for example, "Inbox" or "sent".

If there is anything else, you can retrieve it from the old profile, see this article.

  • addons installer missing

I just reinstalled my system, added 7.1 LV, *.5 and headed the full installer to 8.6.  Older versions are missing from most of the addons toolkit.  What is the best method to add the software, I have developers Professional suite liscences for all versions.  in the past the installer would put on the software for all versions, but it didn't happen at that time.  I need the older versions to continue working on my current projects.  I must have this as soon as possible.

    Hi Paul,.

I believe that this knowledge base article will explain how to install tool boxes for use with several versions of LV on the same computer.

    Kind regards

  • All my photos/events before 2013 are missing from iPhoto.

All my photos/events before 2013 are missing from iPhoto. I checked the record events on the left. Can someone help me locate the photos? My MacBook Pro is up to date OS x 10.11.6

What has changed since they were here?

Given virtually no details the best guess is that you have several libraries of liPhoto - hold down the option key when launching iPhoto and see how many libraries are there in the window that appears choose library - test each of them to see what it contains

  • Icons of toolbar for addons (and ONLY those addons) are freaking TINY.

I had this problem before, but not this bad. Before it was one or two icons a bit smaller than the others. All the icons of any addon now are half the size of the icons by default FF. FF default icons are approximately 35 x 35 or two, and those of the addons are the size of the favicons (17 x 17 or almost).

It is a refreshed version of Firefox (i.e. I pushed the button on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings and reinstalled all my addons from scratch)

    My resolution: 1600 x 900

    The addons that I use:
    NoiaButtons 2.0.3
    1.1.1 signed toolbar buttons
    Classic theme restaurateur 1.4.2

I tried to edit layout.css.devPixelsPerPx, but I don't want to have ANY more big, just the icons of addons.

NoiaButtons will allow me to reduce the default icons of the same size as the others, but there is nothing that will allow others to do the same size decent, easy-to-deal-with default icons. That makes me a wall.

I believe all adults! I found the drop in Restorer of classic theme-it does!

In the side menu, toolbars (1)

Navigation toolbar attribute 'iconsize' click the dropdown under that, then select #nav-bar[iconsize='large'] - Large icons

    And now I'm happy.

  • All my tabs are missing! Rename and copy/paste the files did not help

I accidentally opened two windows of Firefox and closed one with all my tabs pinned first, then the second tab. After Firefox reload all my tabs are missing and I tried to rename files, copy and paste files, etc. as suggests these forums, but nothing has worked. I have myself screwed on?

Check first the Menu history for any tab restore options.
    In the second place.
If you have already restarted Firefox and have a copy of the files: close Firefox

    1. Open the profile folder profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
    2. Save the previous.js recovery.bak and recovery.js under another name
    3. Place the recovery files in the profile folder.

So that this does not happen again change your tab Preferences and settings or try Session Manager add and save your profile.

  • Fonts I have installed in the font book are missing after the upgrade 10.11.6

I ran the upgrade recommended this morning at El Capitan 10.11.6 on my end 2011 MacBook Pro. A certain font was not available when I opened an Illustrator document, so I opened the font book to see why and found that hundreds of fonts, I entered the book of policies over the past year or more are missing. I know that real fonts are still in my police records, but a number of hours of work participated in their addition to the font book and organize them into folders. Is all the work is lost, where can I access the preferences that contain this information somehow? What a brake if not. Font book does not yet have all folders that I put in place, they are just empty and only the core system fonts are loaded.

Unless I can access the old prefs I guess I also install all my software again, to make sure that necessary fonts are loaded?

    Help!

Use your backup Time machine restore.

Your book plist police is located on via Finder > go > go to folder, copy and paste:

    ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.FontBook.plist

  • Some of my Outlook (hotmail) files are missing when you use Firefox

When I use Firefox as my browser for my Hotmail e-mail account (Outlook), for the first time this afternoon, some of my personal folders in the left column are missing. But if I use another browser such as Google Chrome or IE9, the files are all there.
The specific files that are missing are subfolders in the personal file, I created and named trip.
How can I get them back so that I can continue to use Firefox?

Therefore, I would appreciate your help.
Thank you very much in anticipation

    Hi Anthony,.
If you refresh the files Panel in Firefox or if you search for them, the folders appear actually?

This occurs after you clear the cache and cookies? Mode or safe mode? Questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode

If you open the developer tools Web console, the folders appear in the html code of the page?

How to get my photo because I just clicked on the shortcut to undo key and then all photos are missing after I get out my card CF.
I formatted my CF card already.

    < re-titled by host >

If you clicked the Cancel button right after the import, then you u did import. If the REFO option is available, click on it.

In otherwise, re - import photos from the card again and do not click Cancel. If the card has been erased, see if you can use the Time Machine backup to restore.

  • I have version 29.0.1 and frequently the top right three boxes (min, max, quit) are missing. How should I do?

Since the installation of version 29, I had this problem where the three boxes are missing. It happens sometimes that I start FireFox. I can right-click in the min, max or closing of FireFox and area. I never had the problem before. I have an i7 processor and on Windows 7.

The boxes are not visible (i.e., they show a ToolTip if you hover and work if the click in this area) or whatever should not happen at all?

You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.

You can check for problems with preferences.

Delete a possible user.js file and files numbered prefs-# .js and rename (or delete) the file prefs.js to reset all the prefs by default, including the prefs set via user.js and pref which is no longer supported in the current version of Firefox.
