• ADE does not recognize the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

  I have Adobe Digital Editions on my computer and have been able to load books from my library on my corner and the nookcolor.  I recently bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and attempted to load a book that I just got from the library on ADE but ADE does not recognize the Galaxy Tab as a device.  It does not at all appear in the library.  I checked the files tab as recommended by another post on this site.  The Adobe Digital Editions file is not on the tab.

  I do not have a Galaxy, but I 'assume' that he has some installation instructions

  I do not have a Galaxy, but when I went through this process with SONY, to

  one time they asked me if I wanted SONY to handle epub files and I

  with Google - or not.  I think that the reason why they asked, was that they wanted

  set up an exclusive link with my ereader, which would have kept me

  their ebookstore for all my downloads.

• ADE does not detect torchlight Nook

  ADE 1.7 did not detect my new Nook (it appears as a drive on the computer very well), so after playing a while with no luck, I installed 2.0.1 but which does not recognize it either.  Both version recognize my old original Nook very well, while 1.7 has been 'frozen' for several months when you try to transfer books to computer in the corner.

  Really irritating for you.

  It might be interesting to try a factory reset of the Nook.

  Backup books you have on it (probably no as it is new) first.

• My 4.5 ADE does not work on Windows 10?

  I already tried to remove the program and reinstall it, but the problem has not been fixed.

  Closed Digital Edition. Rename the my digital edition folder in your documents. Start over and download an eBook.

• ADE does not recognize second eReader

  My sister bought a Kobo eReader a few months ago, but because of an old Mac OS on his computer, she has difficulties registering its Kobo.  I downloaded the Kobo software on my computer so she could enroll.  She recorded her Kobo with his user name and I've implemented the ADE on my computer with my Adobe ID and also copied ADE on his computer.  Because she didn't have the Kobo software installed on his computer, the ADE on his computer (in my name with my ID) was not recognizing its eReader when it is plugged. In order to get things to work, we plugged just its Kobo on my computer and it could use ADE to my computer to transfer borrowed from its Kobo library books.  Everything worked well.

  Now I have a Kobo eReader I want to allow to my ADE as well, but even if I recorded my Kobo with my own username (the same as my Adobe ID), which is different from its record Kobo username, when I connect my Kobo and open ADE, the Kobo eReader appears as a recognized device, but it shows content that have been copied in its Kobo not mine.  Rather than recognize my drive as another, ADE seems to 'think' it's its Kobo (I see that copies of books that have been copied to the Kobo, but see that only thumbnails and they can not be opened).  If I try to copy my library books ADE to my new Kobo, which is currently empty, I get a message thatâ the book that I am trying to copy is already there.  If I choose to do a duplicate then I see the thumbnail twice under the shelf of Kobo, but when I eject my Kobo, no files have been copied.

  One of the things I gleaned from this forum, is that when we register the devices with Kobo, each device must get some kind of identify files that will then be used when approval by ADE.  If this is the case, each of the Kobo eReaders should have unique information identifier, but is there a way to 'say' the computer who's who and get permission to use the new Kobo with my Adobe ID?  All the tips to find out how to get two set readers up and working with ADE would be appreciated.  I'm not trying to copy books purchased from one eReader to another (I understand the restrictions in this case), but rather to copy library borrowed from every Kobo books.  The library permissions allow the books to be transferred to multiple devices.

  After talking with someone from Kobo STOP, we found ourselves experience my Kobo eReader (command + shift + e), even though it had not actually been permitted.  I plugged the Kobo, ADE open and the authorization window appeared allowing me to allow my device.  Curiously, my empty Kobo was still showing thumbnails of books copied to Kobo my sister, so when I copied the book from the library of my shelf my eReader library I got a saying the file already existed at this place (even if it was not a file there) and asked if I wanted to skip, replace or duplicate the file.  I chose to reproduce the file and it showed well in my Kobo.

• ADE 4.5.1 does not

  I use ADE 4.5.1 on an Aspire 5742 computer running a current version of Windows 10.  When I download a file with the extension .acsm library in my computer, everything works OK.  When I try to transfer the file in ADE, he either will not transfer or it gives the message "ADE does not.  I've deleted and reinstalled several times, same result.  I downloaded ADE 3.0 version, but when I try to transfer in ADE 3, I get the message 'Check Activation'.  Is it possible to be the working version of the ADE?

  OK, Nanaky, that worked!  I removed ADE 4.5.1 removed the registry keys that you asked earlier and installed ADE 3.0.1 and allowed my computer again.  After that, I was able to copy the library from my computer books to ADE and of the ADE both my Nook ebook and an another Kobo ebook.  I hope that this problem is not back!  Something must be wrong with ADE 4.5.1.  Maybe this problem will be sent to Adobe, and they can solve.  Thank you much for the help!

• ADE will not identify Kobo Touch

  Try to copy books from library PUB file on Kobo Touch but ADE does not show my ereader on the left side of the screen. Tried running ADE with connected/not connected ereader, etc. several times, but it does nothing. Tried to uninstall/reinstall the ADE and Kobo desktop as well as did a restart of the plant of Kobo.  The book shows and can read in ADE.  Tried several times to follow the other son instructions to read the help file in ADE (press F1) and follow the instuctions here to disable and re-enable ereader by pressing the keys (Ctrl-Shift-e or something) but I was never able to find something in this help document instructions for display for an ereader that is not displayed.  Using Windows XP.  Any ideads to recognize the drive?

  It turns out that mine was a defective unit.  I returned it to the chapters and they gave me a replacement.  I was up and running less than an hour and fortunately have many books from the library installed on my new Kobo with ADE.   Originally, as well as of the ADE do not recognize the Kobo, my computer did not recognize it properly either.  He showed like a flash drive and I got the error message (on three different computers at this time) that she needed to put in shape.  I hope this helps.

• Server does not support remote façade panels

  Hello.  Hope someone has an idea about that.  After the computer host and update cDAQ 9139 LabView SP1 from 2013 to 2014 LabView dev suite shipped by NOR, I get the error "server does not support the remote panels" when you try to view my remote panel.  Before the update it worked normally.

  I went through everything in the list in this document, http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/C23EF1551D8C52ED86256B140073EE2E and can't find anything that will solve the problem.

  I have rebuilt the application in 2014 of LabView (I even tried a new simple project with a single loop, one of the temperatures and a remote control), rebuilt the build spec and get the same error.

  "I've re-edited the web page and checked in the html code it refers"CODEBASE ="ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/runtime/windows/2014/LVRTE2014min.exe" and I have, according to MAX, LabView DURATION 14.0.1 installed on the host machine.

  If something has changed related LabView 2014 which would cause a new firewall as this remote façade program worked great with 2013 installed?  I've already added that LabVIEW 2014 and all other related apps through the firewall, including the web server.  I am also on a machine that doesn't have a Bluecoat, our company network/internet security suite is installed.

  Another possible solution to this problem - operator error.

  See one of my other posts here for details, but I made an assumption about the port numbers and what they apply to.  Two key points - the port of the web server application in the configuration of hardware web page is not the port used to access the remote panel - port is assigned in the properties of the device, the server settings remote control panel in the project.  And they cannot use the same port; This will also lead to the error "server does not support the remote panels.

  Note to the NOR - you must add this to your KB document on the resolution of this error.

• kb2596615 causes ade to failure, error was 459: object or class does not support the set of events

  A couple of my users started getting our application error messages ade grown after you apply this update. Everything is well after its withdrawal. First mistake was 459: object or class does not support the set of events. Basically, no event has worked. Why is this update break my application? It should be removed from the queue of the update.

  Okay, I've worked on it with Microsoft, and the actual cause turns out to be:

  This article updated fingers MS12-060, specifically KB 2687441, as the culprit.

  It turned out that ActiveX controls on the form (specifically the Microsoft Common Controls 6.0 Toolbar), caused the failure.

  The solution was simple: on a patched machine, open each form with an ActiveX control in design mode, compile and save it. It worked for me. Ignore the details of the solution that I wrote in the previous post!

  You may need to resave MSCOMCTL. OCX, as suggested in the article, to get your databases to work.

• Why does not open ADE 4.5 in Windows 10?

  When I click on the desktop icon, I get a cursor for a few seconds, but no window ADE appears.  I checked the Task Manager and no application ADE is active.  I uninstalled and reinstalled ADE several times and get the same result.  I have an ASUS transformer CHI T100 computer with operating system Windows 10.  Before I upgraded to win 8-10, I could open ADE and activate it.  So maybe that's why I get no error windows.  Other that the cursor occupied at all nothing happens when I try to run ADE.

  Any ideas?  I use ADE mainly to transfer eBooks from my computer to my Nook reader.

• When I install Adobe Digital Editions v 4.5 to 8.1 win does not offer to migrate from the ADE 3 library. It does on Win 7 & 8 Win

  I've successfully upgraded ADE on 2 computers but on the 3rd, the library does not migrate & ADE 3 is not uninstalled.

  Normal Digital Edition used the same folder and you get display eBooks, but sometimes does not work.

  I currently have a Nook Touch Simple (version 1.2.1 of the software).  When I connect it to my MacBook Air (Version 10.9.3) it does not appear in ADE (3.0), which is in turn allows me to transfer books. Suggestions for out of boredom is greatly appreciated.    I have attached a screenshot.

• I am going to erase the authorization of the computer on ADE 4.5 with Win 10.  It says that the password is incorrect.  I changed the password of Adobe, but it does not recognize.

  Type regedit and press enter

  Look for the registry key on the left panel

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Adobe\Adept

  Select the key Adept

  Choose file > export

  Enter the name and location to save the registry key, click Save

  Key follower of right click and delete

  To confirm, click OK

  Close the registry

  Open Adobe Digital Editions and reauthorize

• Satellite A100-383 does not - the battery is not

  Hi all

  I own a satellite A100-383 (PSAARE) that does not start when the battery is totally empty, or if I leave without the battery of the day to the next. The battery will charge not façade is and all the lights are off. I should always have a load on my battery and don't let not unplugged more than 2 days.

  If for some reason, my battery was completely empty, Plug and unplug the power supply from the wall outlet would make all the lights increase and charge the battery again.

  Unfortunately, I went on vacation and I forgot my pc unplugged and it does not charge or turn on. ? The headlights are off. Tried my dear old method to connect the unit several times with battery and without it with no luck... I could see a connection for a second or two, but I wasn't fast enough to plug in and they are off.

  I would be so grateful to you all if you give me a help to put it on my pc. Once I have it on the load and back I'll buy a new battery for sure.
