  I installed spaces webcenter and UCM separately and the created i field with spaces and ucm .able to access all services in webcenter/UCM (login).

• What device drivers OR are required to use the configurator with CompactRIO Profibus Master-Slave device?

  I'm trying to deploy the software driver for a portable production that will allow technicians to download configurations of profibus for CompactRIO profibus DP master-slave cards.  I know I need support VISA and MAX in order to communicate with the device when it is in Slot 1.

  I have a Windows XP computer I've used in the past for this and a 7 32-bit Windows development machine that can do as well.  I guess I would need OR-Rio installed and more MAX and VISA, but I run in RIO the right software to install on this machine.  Until I dig a hole more far than necessary can someone point me in the right direction of what is needed to install?

  My development platform is LabVIEW 2010 with SP1.  The development and the production laptop computer work all the two 32-bit Windows 7.  The development machine has the following (and other) software:

  LabVIEW 2010 (RT, FPGA modules) SP1

  MAX 5.3.3

  NI-VISA 5.2

  NOR-RIO 3.6

  We use Comsoft Configurator II 1.2.37

  I checked that the key and it is present and correct.  Later during some additional tests, I'm done with several other installers throw similar messages.  I've seen CVIRTEDIR and MAXAFWDIR as well.

  I thought at this stage there was another really obscure registry entry who standing things upwards, so I tried to install it (s) even on another unit of the same configuration management.  Installed LabVIEW Runtime Engine 2010 SP1f5, NI-VISA 5.2 (included OR MAX 5.3) and NOR-RIO 3.6.1 and everything works well for use with Configurator II Version 1.2 (September 2011 version 1.09 interface Comsoft TCP sockets, includes LabVIEW 8.6 run time engine).

  In the past I could have resorted to the use of MSI-Blast to clean all the related registry NOR entered, but I couldn't get my hands on a copy and uninstall NOR has not removed the remains (it seems).

  We do not have the capacity to address patterns of external authentication at this time. All authentication/authorization via IDM product Oracle currently a closed system. It's on the roadmap.

• Permissions in vCenter AD during the upgrade with SSO

  I have an existing vCenter 4.1 with many existing permissions based on AD users and groups, which is member of a domain that trusts the domain where users and groups reside. As a result, SSO Setup does not add the trusted domain as a Source of identity during installation, only the domain of the server vCenter himself. Nobody knows what will happen to the existing permissions in vCenter during an upgrade? If not, is it possible to connect SSO before vCenter is updated and add the AD domain approved as a source of identity?

  What I've been through, if users/groups defined in 4.1 installation are not in the defined identity sources, they will be deleted (the installation program creates a file deleted_vc_users with a list of these users that you can then view them later) from the database.

  After installing SSO, install the Web Client and use it to manually add your domain (s) and then go back and install the other components.

  I would like to know why too. It is a strangely common on this forum problem. Where people get all this data that contains no spaces? What is it? Sequences of DNA? Chemical names? Artificial German made up words?

  N ° you must install anything on virtual desktops other than the Agent of the view. This gives view SSO.

  You can talk about vCenter SSO who is not related to the PSO from view.

  To display, you must only install the software referenced in the view installation guide.

  However, a portlet can not easily retrieve the roles for the current user.

  Because you send messages as part of the forum Webcenter spaces, waiting for you to create the portlet to a webcenter spaces environment. It is not that trivial to deploy a taskflow custom webcenter spaces. That is why, if you can use a portlet, do it with a portlet :)

  I have configured the spaces webcetner and success of the Complutense University of MADRID, I can able to list on all the docs on screen webcenter spaces that are added to the Complutense University of Madrid.
  but I'm not able to download any docment from webcetner namespaces.
  It gives the followig error

  I think this error is arising as a result of AAU generates a unique content ID.

  IIRC it used to be the case that during the configuration/installation webcenter UCM, was forced to use automatic numbering for Content ID.

  Can you try and put this in your config.cfg file and then restart it and try again...

  After an update of the firmware, you must reset the default router, and then configure the router again from scratch.  If you have not done this since your last update of the firmware, please do it now and see if it solves your problem.  If you have saved a router configuration file, DO NOT use it.

  To reset your router prress the reset button for 30 seconds... Release the reset button... Unplug the power cable from your router, wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cable... Now re - configure your router...

  I have an Esx 4.1.0 Build 260247, when I try to do the backup of the configuration with the command vicfg - cfgbackup.pl - Server < insert the IP address of the name of the server here > s < where you want sauvΘs > in my PC with vCLI 4.1, but I got an error:

  "Operation not supported on this host."

  

  I tried with different parameters, but it's the same mistake.

  I had tried with vCLI 5.1 and 4.1 vCLI.

  The server has open port 22.

  Note: I have 5.1 Esx servers and I can do backups of configuration.

  Any ideas?

  vicfg - cfgbackup.pl is only supported on embedded platforms.
