• 10.1.2 crop tool does not work

  10.1.2 iMovie... I am not able to move the crop selection box to create a culture. I get yellow guidelines that appear when I move the mouse as to create a culture with the selection box. It makes me mental. until I updated it worked fine. I tried to change my preferences (adjustment, crop to fill) and we tried to select as well in my area of media and chronology. Help, please.

  The cross in the center of the collection area allows to position the crop area. The yellow lines indicate the center of the frame. Enter the corners highlighted the culture box and drag to resize the area of culture. Use the culture to fill the selection to your cropping.

• Help with Quicktime player

  When use Quick time player to record the screen and I do the entire screen, it works fine, but when I import into iMovie to edit it cuts the low Quay area and the high bar for the Apple menu area. I thought to this could be for reasons of copyright, but I have seen youtube videos that display the entire screen, so anyone know what I can do display all this?

  Hi all

  I need to implement the 'linear' Fit.vi in MATLAB. I use the method of least squares in the .vi but unfortunately MATLAB operator "-" does not give me the same result. It's strange because they both claim to use exactly the same methods of calculation.

  Re-reading your post, you will leave the way to much information for us to make sense of it all.

  Since you are apparently linear adjustment of LabVIEW and matlab linear adjustment compared, I assume that you fully functional code for both.

  Can tie you your VI and important section of your matlab code?

  Where the operator '-' fit into all this?

  How the results are different. They are at least similar? If you do a line with paper and pencil, using very few points, is agree with LabVIEW, matlab or not?

  I realize in SG, the default setting is to have applied to all clips of Lumetri.  But it is applied by default with no real change in the image.  Is there an indication similar to first in the chronology of the SG to show if a clip has had its effect options adjusted compared to the default setting?

  IF you use SpeedGrade "native" mode, not through the Di-Link on a project of PrPro on just clips after the name of the clip...

• Widget slideshow - left frame image of hero?

  In the slide show Widget, is there a way to justify on the left the image of heroes as part of the image, instead of centering?   I have the images of heroes of different sizes, and those who are more 'square' instead of 'landscape' wind up showing how, with more space left:

  

  While those who is 'landscape' have a lot of extra space on top.

  It would be really nice display the image at the top left justified instead of centered, without writing a bunch of CSS custom (I'm not even sure Muse allows you to write custom CSS).

  Someone has an answer for this?   It seems that the widget should be able to do this...

  With the slideshow you can adjust proportionally or fill out proportionally, the image should be resized and then add to the slideshow for better performance if the image is too large or too small.

• Problem of invert tool pen

  I'm relatively new to photoshop and I seem to have problems with my selection of the pen tool. I'm outlining the thing I want to describe and then when I try to fill it with the color, it fills all except the selection.

  Looks like everything trying to cut the stock to a smart object layer.  A smart object layer pixels are not editable.  You can adjust the dynamic filters add adjustment layers mask and adjust the opacity fill layers and mix.  It seems that you added a layer of red on the smart object layers and cut out of the stock area to let the broth in the lats dynamic object show. What you wanted to do was to change your path to a selection of stock and click on the layer mask icon Add to add what seems like your Red layer as a layer mask in the layers palette.

  

• Resizing a full hd movie in MPGE2-DVD

  Not clear on your workflow — you drag the HD clip to a sequence of SD in first, or you still reference when you say drag the HD movie to the track?

  Usual workflow is to use a 1920 x 1080 in the first sequence to match the source, then export as 'MPEG-2 DVD' to aid proper widescreen Preset. At the bottom of the Panel to export settings, check the box "Max make quality" This helps with the reduction of scale. Use the "2-Pass VBR" encoding In the output window, change the scale of adjustment 'Ladder to fill', and this will remove the tiny black bars on sides.

  It looks like a variation on the effect of Brannan Instagram which can be simulated in PS with a group of adjustment layers.

  I've experimented with half top of the displayed image. I added a color fill adjustment layer and filled of #fcf7c8, then changed the blending mode to multiply. I added a second layer of color fill, full control of #301f46 and changed the blending mode to screen.

  At this point, we're in the ballpark. You can get close with a few adjustments bit agitated, like playing with the opacity of the color fill and its replacement near colors to the colors that I quoted more top, as well as to strengthen the areas by duplicating the color fill layers and hide selectively. (I probably could have gotten more closely by replacing #fcf7c8 by a lighter shade in the layer of color copy fill 1.) I applied a curves layer up to return a few wink. The thumbnail was created using a levels layer. YMMV depending on the photo.

• images in the slide show change size

  Hello, I have a couple of slideshows on a development site and I adjust size to fill the frame (I have try framework fit proportionally, but they could go longer) so I drag the image to fill the frame then right click and lock. However when I preview, several images have themselves reduced to a smaller size, without my permission! grrrr

  I tried a few times, and although new on Muse, I'm reasonable familiar with PS and ID to place images.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Adobe Muse is a frame size of 2048px width restriction. If the image is larger than that, you can try using the option 'Import more large size' in the context menu after you import the image to check if that helps.   1. How can I fill the spaces between the circles with the color without him flowing into the space between the two rectangles?

  Here is an answer to your first question so far: One way to make a shape which is just a "color ring". You could make a form of circle with no fill and a very wide line, or an opportunity, that's what I have described below:

  Below, I made a circular shape with the Ellipse tool.

  

  

  As you can see in the bar, I have the option make sure I configured in 'form'. I then select the ""path operations "icon, as he described circles below." I select the subtraction of the form.

  

  This brings a cursor indicating that the next ellipse that I do, it will subtract from the first form. I then proceed to a second circle inside the previous circle, to make the shape of the ring that you like.

  

  With the Direct Selection tool, you can adjust the handles of the inner circle to your liking.

• Adding colors to a wiring diagram?

  Hi, I'm new to Photoshop and add Auto color of the different wires to a wiring diagram.

  For now the diagram is a black and white PDF with black lines showing the wires connecting each component and each line to a point having an abbreviation to indicate what color wire, for example

  Battery ________________________B_____________________________Fuel Pump

  where 'B' indicates that the wire is black.

  As you can imagine with dozens of wires going from one component to another, it becomes quite difficult to follow, but it would not be nearly so difficult if I could change the black lines to the appropriate color.

  If anyone knows how can I do this please?  I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 9 installed.

  I suggest that you proceed in the same way we could color lineart, except your coloring lines instead of inside the lines.

  1 unlock your background layer by double clicking on the thumbnail of the layer (so you can place the layers underneath).

  2. change the blending mode of the layer in the diagram in order to alleviate or screen.

  2 use adjustment layers color fill under your layer diagram to color the black lines.

  a: you can get the layers of color fill by a small icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

  b. the layer mask must be black (Edit > fill)

  3. Select the pencil tool, with the foreground color set to white and paint on the lines.

  (You can clear the paint color of black on the layer mask)

  4. use a new color for each different color fill layer

  5. for the son that multi color like yellow and white for example you could make a model and use a

  I have scans of pages of comics in black and white

  that I'd like to colorize.

  How can I do this with Photoshop Elements?

  I'm a big fan of blending modes to do this. All you really need to know is that Multiply blending mode makes drop white.

  1. click on background comic lock and drag it to the trash CAN... simply release the mouse button when you reach the trash. I like to do it this way because there is no dialogue for good.

  2. create a fill layer with the background color solid color desired and slide it under your cartoon illustration. (I like to use for the solid color fill adjustment layers because they are flexible and I quickly change my color if I change my mind something.) This does mean that you can't just create an empty layer and fill it with the color... or works the other way. Let this layer in Normal blending mode; 100% opacity.

  3. change the blending mode of the layer of your illustration comic to multiply; 100% opacity.

  4. under your illustration add an adjustment layer of filling of solid color for each item that you want to paint. Let in Normal blending mode adjustment layers; Opacity 100%. Fill your black mask to hide the effect of solid color fill. Take the Brush tool and use white paint into the mask to colorize point.  Each of them that are under your comic strip illustration will be blocked by your black lines. Each layer will block the layer below, because they are each in Normal blending mode. (The exception is the black outline that is placed in blending mode multiply.)

  Note: Alternatively, you can create an empty layer and paint in your color. As with the solid color fill layers, leave it in Normal blending mode; 100% opacity.

  5. If you want something to paint on the black lines... like fixing the gaps or adding things... place these layers above your line art, which is in merger mode multiply. Let these layers in a mixture Normal mode 100% opacity.

  Note: in my example I lowered my opacity less than 100% for the single point... the lip lines. This layer, I had to taste that I tried to get my lines to match the lines of the demarcation line in the face.

  Below shows background color will not affect the result that you use the normal blending mode for each layer coloring and multiply blending mode for drawing to the line itself. If you had painted them in a different blending mode then the base color (background) would have been a factor.

  

  I used a piece of an image of the Big Box of Art 350 000 Hemera Images... now owned by Jupiter Media... for example. I thought I'd better add that since Jupiter Media owns the copyright of this illustration.

  

  Above shows my layers palette.

  All the layers except the linework are Normal blending mode. Line drawing is in merger mode multiply. All the layers except the outline of the lips (black) are set to 100% opacity. Are items I want to address the line drawing above the dividing line. I want to show under the line items are found under the line drawing. A good example is the layer of teeth Add. The teeth are not in the original comics. To get your teeth white to appear, they should be located on the line original line drawing. The layer that contains the fill color is one that I forgot to change. As he is black, it is a sort of correction of the line I've done freehand.

  I have not used any fill color for the necklace and the dress in my example to show how the white falls when you place a black and white linework in blending mode multiply.
