Admin BI - FK does new join unnecessary?

I create a new model of physics using the BI administration tool. In some cases, when I try to create a new join between two tables via the physical schema, I see that both tables are already bound by an arrow, which means a foreign key. This means that a new join is not necessary?

Hello

The data modeling depends entirely on what is your requirement. If you plan to use the same physical table columns in the user interface you don't need to join another physical since it will be redundant.

However, if you are not sure on the model of data in use and you want to create one yourself and then create aliases for tables in the physical layer and move forward with the definition of your knuckles.

I hope this helps.

Mark the correct answer if that answers your query.

Kind regards

Arko

  • Ink does not join the labels

I have a HP C7280 printer. I'm trying to print on Avery 15660 clear address labels and the black ink of an original HP cartridge does not adhere.  The labels are labeled "Laser".  What is the problem?  I need to print on clear labels, is there a solution?

Support labeled "laser" is actually designed to handle the high heat a Laserjet Printer shall submit to the surface of the paper/media. An inkjet printer does not have that kind of heat on the media/paper, and if the surface is optimized for this, so I'd expect less perfect printing results.

If you get clear labels marked "inkjet" then you should get the results you're looking for.

  • Cannot connect as Admin user in a new installation of the workspace 2.0

I was hitting my head on my desk and I was wondering if I lack just something. I'll put in space 2.0 using EGGS and when I set up the username admin and the password that I can not make it unique. In fact, it uses my newspaper AD in when I don't even have these setting again. If someone could just tell me how to change that, it would be great. Thank you!

    Jared

    Hi Jared,

Thanks for the clarification. The user name on the license key cannot be changed, it is hardcoded to "admin". You can use this user name and password to connect to the ISU following Admin

    https://Configurator-VA.domain.com

    https://connector-VA.domain.com/HC/Admin/

    https://gateway-VA.domain.com/SaaS/login/0

If you want to connect to the admin of https://gateway-va.domain.com or https://gateway-va.domain.com/as an administrator, you must log on as a user you specified as the Bind DN.

https://gateway-va.domain.com/SAAS/login/0 and https://gateway-VA.domain.com/ admin that both take you to the same functionality. The only difference is that the former allows you to connect as a user no AD.

  • What is the best way to optimize a SQL query: call a function or doing a join?

Hi, I want to know what is the best way to optimize a SQL query, call a function inside the SELECT statement, or make a simple join?

It depends on.  Could be a.  Could be the other.  Could be no difference.  You would need to compare with your tables in your environment with your settings.

If you put a gun to my head, I was given no other information and required that I answered the question, I would tend to wait that the join would be more effective.  In general, if you can do something in pure SQL, it will be more effective than if you call PL/SQL.

  • mobile e-mail from the admin folders. page to a new page to the user.

    Hello

    Who did you send provider?

What is a mail on the Web, or you use any e-mail like outlook client?

What do you mean by new user page? Referring to the new user account?

If you are making reference to the new user account where you need access to these files and folders, you can try to move your folders in the Public folder.

The Public folder is a convenient way to share files that are stored on your computer. You can share files in this folder with other people using the same computer and with people using other computers on the same network. Any file or folder you put in the folder Public is automatically shared with the people who have access to your Public folder.

  • Windows XP does not recognize my passwords

I have windows XP home installed on my PC.  Recently, windows froze so I restarted the pc and after the regular windows picture message, I get an error about the lsass.exe file... Sorry I don't have the exact message, but there (000005) in the text.
-tried safe mode and get the same message before I can connect.
-recovery mode I tried, when asked to enter the admin password, windows does not recognize it
-tried net 'user' at the command prompt to change the password, windows does not recognize this command is
-installed windows on another hard drive (D :), created a new user, not asked to create a password when I boot this - version of windows, I am required to enter a password, but none of my passwords for this new user or admin user, or empty, seem to work)
-I is not an option to choose about aid
Is there something I can do to get into windows?
I need to access some personal files before I format and reinstall - last resort

I posted the Question below, but I found the solution to my problem.

I've used 'control userpasswords2' from start - RUN then unchecked the box who says:

"Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

I thought this would prevent user account to request a password.

IN FACT, THIS CAUSED MY PROBLEM.

It might work for XP Pro, but it does not work in XP Home Edition. In the publishing house it still ask for a password or it could give you this message at startup.

"Unable to log on because of an account restriction"

After finally getting back to my account. (I got lucky in after the restart of some).  I also had a lot of error messages in the error log (use start-help & - aid) which reads:

"The entry in the hash map cannot be updated. Context: Application, creates catalog Details: a device attached to the system is not functioning. (0x8007001f).

I have no idea what it means.

    Anyway,.

"I had to go back and double checked the box to start - run -" control userpassword2 ' for users to enter a user name and password.  After that, I went to start - settings control panel, then user accounts. I clicked on each user account under account to change and delete the user password.  Now I have to enter a password everytime I log in, or if I change my USER account.

I hope you find this useful and should not lose a day on this problem.

    See you soon,.

    ------------------

I also have windows XP home installed on my PC with 2 user accounts. I use to be able to click on each user account and access my programs. There are about 4-6 months then asked me for a password. This must happen after an MS updated because I haven't changed anything on my PC for years.  I could not agree to 'nothing' as password, so I created one and it worked.

After a MS recent update access (last week), whenever I want to a user account, I wonder the password. If it times out at the Welcome screen or I want to change my user account, it asks for my password, but then it says sorry... You forgot your password?  I have to restart every time I want to access my accounts or access the second user account.

First of all, why is - what happens when it's never happened before?

    Second, how to fix?

I want to connect to a user without password (initial configuration) account

Or I want to connect and stay connected with a password.

I DON'T want to restart my PC whenever I want to use my computer.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Remove the admin account, just standard account available

Some time before, I created an administrator account and a standard account and gave both a password, then, I deleted the admin account, completely forgetting to turn the other standard account to an admin.

Now, whenever I try to do something that is beyond the power of a standard account to, Window Vista with ask me to type a password to admin, but there is no place to type the password. The box to type in is not there!
When I tried to turn my standard account in an admin, to create a new account, or nothing to do with an account, Vista will ask me a password that I can't provide and have no where to give to command prompt to activate the hidden admin does not work too.
If anyone can please help me turn my standard account now to an admin! Urgent!

Yay! It is resolved! Thank you very much! So that before I posted this, I tried to find the safe mode option, myself and the possibility to press F8 just wasn't there! Then I got stuck there... Thank you very much!

  • Parental control on the Admin account problems

A few months ago, I created a new account on my computer for work only.  I set the parental controls on the new account and only the work account.  I got by without my computer for work then off the parental control.  Now, I'm unable to download games without him asking for a password.  I don't know what password I had used since I don't end up need it and none I've tried have worked.  So, how can I, as an administrator, disable this feature?  I have consulted the parental control and done everything I have seen/read that was recommended, but it won't allow me to change the settings on my own admin account without establishing a second admin account.  So, how can I remove this feature from the admin, only the admin?  It does not accept any next to the admin account, and even then it won't take my password.

I work at it for a few weeks now and tried everything I can think of.  Today I spent most of the day trying to get this thing to work.

More details on what is happening-
-I'm going to download a game on the net while connected to my admin account
-Everything works until the final stage when he usually asks for a general permission to my antivirus
-A pop up appears which reads: you do not have the necessary permissions to use all the features of the program you are about to run.  You can run this program as a different user or continue to run the program as long as the current user.
-Click on the current user and it closes, download fault.
-Enter a password for the administrator and it says I have a user name or password invalid.
-Enter my username and password and it closes, download fault.

Can someone please help with this?

    Hello KS. GAL.86,

Is the problem with the account of the work that you had created that has activated the Parental control? You can only configure Parental controls on a standard account and not an administrator account.

If so, then create a new account that has not activated the parental control.

Is the issue that you are experiencing that you can not download programs as an administrator?
What is the exact error you get when you download a program?

It cannot have anything to do with Parental control.

Please answer back with more details and information.

    Thank you

  • How to restore my admin account corrupted? (No available backup.)

    Detailed explanation

A few days ago I started my computer and was taken directly on repair screen windows because my computer was seemingly impossible to start. After you run the tool to repair for a few minutes, Windows told me that there was no solution, then I just restarted the computer. After that he started off very well and I thought that everything was resolved. But yesterday, after that I connected with success, my mouse and keyboard suddenly stopped responding. I used the power button to manually restart my computer. I tried to log in again, but I got the error message "user profile Service failed.

Now, whenever I try to login, I get the message "The user profile Service failed" immediately after entering my password. I've logged the standard guest profile and tried to change the registry, according to the first method found here, administrator privileges are required to change the registry but whenever I type my admin password in the administrator privileges prompt, nothing happens (it accepts the password, but then does nothing). So it appears I can not use my admin password for administrator privileges.

Then I booted safe mode and tried to login to my admin account. It actually allowed me to login using the admin password, but whenever I tried to click anything like 'Create an account', nothing happened. So it appears I can connect to the Safe Mode admin account, but I can't do anything on this account.

I'm downloading 15.2 Hiren's BootCD because that this discussion leads me to believe that he might be able to copy files from my admin profile to a new profile without asking me administrator privileges. Another problem is I got lazy, so I have not backed up the files or programs in months, so I need to create a new admin account and somehow copy all my files and programs without losing them accidentally. I have a terabyte of hard drive that is over half full of games and important documents, so I can't lose the data stored in my damaged account.

    Summary

I can't login to my admin account only because it is damaged. I can access safe mode, but I can't do anything in Mode safe (for example when I click on "Create an account" nothing happens). I can't edit the registry profile comments, or do anything that requires administrator privileges because the admin password doesn't seem to work. None of my programs or files are saved. I need a method by which I can repair my current admin account or create a new admin account and copy it on all my files and programs.

    Information System

    Windows 7 Home Premium
    64 bit
Avast! Free antivirus (it is likely is the free version of avast! a virus slip by and corrupt my account?) I've never had any problem with avast! in the past).

I did turn my PC of house built for almost two years now without any major problems. It is pretty quiet most of the time, but I noticed some hum slightly stronger and clicking while starting from the beginning of these problems. There again, I could just be imagine. I can post the exact hardware specs if anyone thinks that profile corruption could be caused by a hardware problem. When I have time I'll pop the case open and see if I can see obvious internal damage.

  • ISE GUI Admin Pass do not SSH

    Hello

recently, due to the expiration policy for password on my ISE, I changed my pass admin ISE through the graphical user interface. but then I can connect to my ISE GUI with the new admin password.  But when I try to ssh to my LSE and to try some new admin pass, it does not accept the new pass, when I try with old pass admin it works on ssh

    something wrong?

    Hi Imran,

Change the password of ISE GUI will not change in the SSH ISE console password. These two are two different flow rates and if you want to change the CLI password you must use the ISE rescue CD and select the option change the password and it will prompt you to change the password in the ssh console.
