  Of course, you can load data in the form of XML or JS files. JS (via the injected script tag) has the advantage of working from the local file system, while XML (via XMLHttpRequest) works for a web server.

  However, you won't be able to display any bold/italic formatting by using the native Flash text objects online. To do this, you superimpose native text HTML elements on the stage.

  Here is a simple example of loading an XML file:

  In Flash CS6, the transparency lock button is the iron layers tool that graph a little square. I can't find in adobe animate and it's driving me crazy.

  If it turns out to be the lock fill option, one thing to watch is that your screen can not show the icon because the tools are too big (or too large). You can grasp the edge of the tools and make two columns or two rows, and then there would be enough space to see the last icons.

  Animate is the new name for the Flash, so you should be able to export it as a video.

We used to use flash in some of our content, but when it comes to change old files flash 5 years ago, we run into actionscript issues. We liked the idea of the edge of adobe we read that it was quite simple and this is an advantage because we have a pretty fast turnaround with projects. I know that Adobe no longer not actively the development edge and now they have developed flash into Adobe animate, we just wanted to know your opinion, what would be the best tool for us?

  HI - have you tried Adobe Captivate 9 yet? It offers many animation possibilities. Adobe Edge animate is also a great tool. According to the types of animations that you try to create, or the other of these tools should do the trick. You can also create video animations using tools such as Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere. It really sums up what tool feel you more comfortable learning-to-use and what type of animation effect, you pick up. Good luck.

  Adobe Animate is just Flash Professional with a different name. You could install the latest version of Flash Pro now, and someday there will soon be an update where the name is changed. The update will include probably all these recent corrections or changes to the features, but there is no reason to wait, you may as well get used to the operation of the program.

  animate is the full version but without subscription you probably won't be able to use libraries of cc.

  I'm working on the project with Adobe animate CC. The project includes 5 buttons that link to the quite different picture slideshows.

  I can't find a single reference online on how to create a simple 'next' and 'previous' buttons that will go forward or back a frame.

  The codes I have found online seem to produce inconsistent results (they will advance through the first slide show very well, but then the second will go to random slides).

  I also tried the this.gotoAndPlay (5); for each image, but that starts to have problems in the second show.

  Any help would be appreciated.
