Adobe color with RAW images questions

Hello

I've had Photoshop for a long time now and I have a problem. When you look at the RAW images they have a green tint on the shadows (that's when them preview in Bridge, Photoshop and Camera RAW). This problem seems to be resolved by reducing the window and then making it full screen again a few seconds later. How ever after that, if I switch to another image and returned to the Green cast is there in the shadows.

If I print screen you can see the problems in any other image editor the long side of a screen of the watch of the image "resolved."

Anyone know how to solve this problem. I added a screenshot for comparrison to screen.

Thank you

Mark

P.s. There are lots worse images I can download if people want more information, or even just to see more of problem.

It is not the never saw that a factory (for example, from Dell) color profile is not correctly formatted for general use (e.g. Photoshop).

Try to uncheck [use my settings for this device (or add sRGB Color Space Profile.icm and make default) so that your system is configured to use the profile sRGB for the monitor and see if the problem persists.  I am betting it will be coherent by then, and the Dell ST2210 (HDMI) profile is a little confusing to Photoshop.

  • Photoshop CS2 will not work with RAW images in the Minolta DimAge A2.  It allows to work properly

I used Photoshop CS 2 with my DimAge A2 for 5 years in the RAW format.  Now it will not work with RAW with my camera.  I'm using Vista 64.eu all the answers?  Thank you

It seems to me that you probably had to reinstall Photoshop CS 2.  If this is the case, then, you must download and install Camera Raw 3.7.  The version that was on your installation disc has been updated several times.  And one of these probably included updates support for your camera.  Install RTAs 3.7 and see if that helps.

  • Cannot use layers with RAW images

I use Photoshop Elements 10 and I can not use diapers on images in RAW format.  I think that I must have something wrong set.  They open in setting RAW window but when I select open all the layer options are grayed out just out and unavailable.

    Any ideas?

You're probably convert as 16-bit files and post-secondary studies, you need 8 bits to work with layers. For files already open, image > mode > 8 bits/channel. For future files, there is a menu in the preview area in the converter where you can choose between 8 and 16 bits.

  • Need help with date EXIF for raw images

I have a little more than 100 images (taken by 2nd shooter) EXIF (JPEG and raw) who have the wrong date.  They were taken with a 2nd camera which was extinguished by + 15hrs min 57.

There are many programs that will easily edit the EXIF date/time on JPEGs, but they do not work with raw images.

I read that Lightroom can compensate for incorrect dates on import, but after searching, I can't find any information on how to do it.  Can someone please?

In library view, go to the section metadata/change the Capture time. You can pass the time by a number of hours, that would get you some 3 minutes anyway. Under Publishing/catalogue of the parameters in the metadata tab, you can choose to write the date and time changes raw int (check box below) files.

  • Raw image converter CS6 also does support raw PowerShot G1X MKII images?

I recently bought a PowerShot G1X MKII and always work with raw images. I have CS5 that does not support raw images. Before moving to CS6, I wonder if anyone has any experience with the opening of raw images PowerShot G1X MKII using ACR in CS6.

I just checked the list supported camera published by Adobe. It indicates that there is a preliminary support for that camera in the latest version of Camera Raw. This version is not compatible with Photoshop CS5. But you could download the version 8.4 of the DNG Converter and convert raw files to DNG and use them with what you already have. You could buy Photoshop CS6 and install Camera Raw 8.4 and have supported for your camera, though preliminary support. But the new features that have been added to Camera Raw since the introduction of Photoshop CC will not be available. But since you do not have these features now probably, would not be serious. You could also add Lightroom to your workflow, regarding Photoshop CS5 if necessary.  Here is a link to the Adobe Web page that lists the camera support:

  • Opening raw images in Photoshop Elements 9

When opening raw images in Photoshop Elements 9 (file-> open or file-> open as), the Adobe Camera Raw dialog box cannot be opened.

Instead, I get a window with a progress bar and the text "Read Camera Raw Format".

Then, the image opens in the Photoshop Elements Editor.

I tested with raw images from Canon EOS 1000 d and cameras Samsung WB2000.

I'd like suggestions on how to solve this problem.

I run Photoshop Elements on a HP Widows XP netbook with an Intel Atom N450 / 1.66 GHz processor, 2 GB of ram and a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

Unfortunately you do not see the raw converter in PES 9 on the screens of less than 800 px of height, which means not on netbooks. PSE him automatically will convert for you, but this dialog box and a few others, like the advanced Downloader window, will not appear.

  • How to make PS CS3 to see raw images

I had to upgrade my computer and the new computer is Windows 7 64-bit with an environment of four main system.  It came with 7 preloaded items and it works very well with raw images.  CS3 apparently loaded without any problems, but when I try to open a raw image I get a message 'not the right kind of document.  Have activated the plugin raw and that's where and the correct version.  Would it be the 64-bit gives the problem,

Each camera RAW format should be specifically supported by Adobe Camera RAW so the version of ACR you use would have been released after that your camera model was available for sale.

Since you're re-installing, you probably just need to update to the last version compatible with your products, because Adobe does not update the installation media whenever a new ACR is released.  CS3 will use the last ACR 4.x. who I think was 4.6.  You can find the latest version of your CS3 and PSE7 on the next page, where the instructions for Photoshop and elements are slightly different, so each must be updated separately:

    http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows

PSE7 will probably accept a version newer than PS, itself, so instructions for PSE7 can be in a different version.

Another way to find the location of the plug-in is to search your entire hard drive "Camera RAW.8bi" and replace those with the one you download for ACR 4.6.

  • Generate 'raw' images in ACR?

I work with "raw" images using custom software, and I would like to be able to transmit images processed in ACR in my software.

I currently need dng images and raw owners images (for example cameras direct) in my software. I want to treat a raw (from camera, e.g. NEF) image in ACR, and then save this image in dng, to spend in my software. However, when I look at the dng in ACR-saved (transformed), I find that raw pixel data in the DNG are * not * changed. I suspect that changes in ACR is stored in the dng metadata when it is registered in ACR and are only 'applied' the raw pixel values when it is interpreted by appropriate software. Is this correct? And if so, is it * all * way to produce an ACR dng file processing in which raw pixel data * is * changed? for example, so that the results of the treatment are visible when the dng format is seen in RawShooter for example? Optical distortion correction treatment I do in ACR.

    Yes.

Since the response of two, the first question is Yes, which naturally implies a number for the second. You can save a DNG demosaiced, which is essentially a TIFF file. That's what DxO used to (and still does) when correction lens RAWs to other converters.

  • In what color space is LR mobile make the raw images share?

The title says pretty much all this.  I installed LR on my iPad, import raw images captured with the Camera Connection Kit, previously made some changes and exported jpg by email to myself.  The files come into Photoshop as "mystery meat", i.e. without embedded profile, or even an exif tag.  I'm probably leaving sRGB, but it would be useful that Adobe would include at least the color space tag in the exported file.

    Hey Richard Southworth,.

Your assumption is correct. They are sRGB.

  • Change how ACR interprets color space for raw images

When you browse the raw (CR2) photos with the OS X finder, I love the way color is represented, it corresponds very closely to the camera in preview. However, Bridge/ACR/Lr all interpret the color space of files differently good raw, and I wonder if there is a way to put these programs according how OS X finder restores raw images.

Color space isn't the issue.  I think what you see with OS X finder is the embedded jpg file has been generated by the camera and saved in the RAW file for viewing, and it should look identical to the jpg of the camera.  The adobes in Camera RAW and Lightroom RAW converter uses the Adobe Standard profile of the camera as the default profile to the camera to generate an RGB from the RAW data image and you can save the image as a jpg, tif, etc. with any colorspace you select (sRGB, ProPhoto RGB, etc.).

Adobe has generated camera profiles for Canon, Nikon and a few other cameras that are a good match for the profiles used by the camera to generate an RGB image.  You will find them on the camera Calibration tab (as suggested in the post above) and they have names like camera XXXXX, XXXXX is the same name as that used in the camera.  Select one with the same name XXXXX that you selected in the camera and you should get a much better game.  You can also change the default profile to the camera at one of them, as suggested in the post above, and then the RAW image will open the first time using this profile instead of the Adobe Standard profile.  If you always use the same profile in the camera, this will solve your problem.  If you use different profiles of the camera in the camera photo then you will need to manually change in Camera RAW and Lightroom to one corresponding used in the camera because the RAW converter does not read what profile you selected in the camera.

  • I need to replace a color on my image with a specific part of the image color.  How do I?

I spent over 2 hours trying to figure out how to replace a color on a part of my image with a specific color indicated on another part of the image.  So far, I was able to go to "Replace color" on my version of Adobe Photoshop, but it seems that I can only change the hue and brightness of the color that it is currently.  I need to use a specific color, so this didn't help me.  Does anyone know how to complete the task that I refer to?

In addition, please keep in mind that I use Adobe Photoshop 6.0, not a fancy cs version or whatever it is.  So it's fairly old school...

Any help/comments are greatly appreciated!  Thank you.

    Hello

In fact, you can choose a specific color using the replace color function!

Go to Image > adjustments >, replace color

Select the color you want to replace. Then, click on the 'Result' box in the section of replacement (see below)

A color picker dialog box opens, where you can use the eyedropper tool to select a specific color in your image, or you can enter the specific RGB/CMYK values.

Please post again if you have any other questions - I use CS6, but as far as I know, this process works the same for PS 6.0.

    Good luck!

  • quarter of colors in the images uploaded to Adobe Prosite and Behance Prosite

When I recently downloaded Adobe Prosite and Bechance images.  The images looked darker and with/without facts highlights or brightness than images

being viewed in LR or PS.  What should be the parameters of colors for the web / online ad and for printing?   Also on export from LR, I followed the recommendations of tutorials Adobe also without success.   My screen is a monitor of the ISP of lower level and wonder if this is the problem.  What should I know to solve this problem?

    Thank you

When you publish to any site Web of the image must be converted to sRGB in Photoshop. (Edit-convert to profile and select sRGB) in addition, make sure the box to embed the profile is checked in the Save dialog box that you save the file.

For printing, most people will use Adobe RGB 1998

  • I'm trying to print using my own profile and no color management.   I have found a lead to the Adobe Color Print Utility but reached a point where he declared that she would not work with future versions of the Mac operating system.   I have Mac OS 10,11,

I have been printing PSD images with my own profiles and color management using an Epson R2880.

I've now changed to a Mac with OO 10.11.3 and unable to replace the color management.   I found a lead on the Adobe Color printer utility but failed and got a message saying that the utility has only worked with an earlier version of the OS 10.   Is there a way to turn this problem?

    GHK

You don't want or need to use the old setting 'No Color Management'. Is no longer the right way to print with a custom printer profile, in the current versions of Photoshop and OS X.

To use a custom profile to print, use the attached picture settings:

    • In the print dialog box, set the Photoshop color management menu manages colors.
    • Select your profile to the printer in the printer profile menu.
    • In the settings of printer driver Epson (under Printer Setup button) make sure that the Epson printer driver is set to the color - off management.

I don't know why Adobe Color Printer Utility works in 10.11.3, because I can throw on OS X 10.10 and 10.11. But in the end, it doesn't matter, because you don't want to use it for this purpose Adobe Color Printer Utility is only to print a profiling target, no images. And it won't let you print using your custom printer profile, because the whole point of the utility is to print with no discoloration whatsoever.

  • I just switched to a Nikon D80 with a Nikon D90 and I use Photoshop 4 and bridge. I can't open the NEF (raw) images off bridge. How can I get the camera raw dialog screen which came to my D-80?

I just switched to a Nikon D80 with a Nikon D90 and I use Photoshop 4 and bridge. I can't open the NEF (raw) images off bridge. How can I get the camera raw dialog screen which came to my D-80?

Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

First of all, the D90 was supported in Camera Raw 5.1.

Open Photoshop and click on Photoshop (Mac) or help (Win) > Plug-ins > Camera Raw to see what version you use.

Photoshop CS4 comes with Camera Raw 5.0.

Try to update Camera Raw in Photoshop to 5.7 via help > updates.

If this does not work, try to manually edit Camera Raw
