Adobe Exchange packets my extension already packed

I'm trying to present a panel of first Pro CC 2015 I created, but the uploader keeps placing my package in another package.

DETAILS:

-Extension is intended for first Pro CC 2015, Mac/Windows

-Development and test everything is done on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5

Here are my exact measurements (with photos!):

1 packed my extension using ZxpSignCmd:

02_signing.png

03_package.png

2. test the installation using ExManRoot:

05_exman1.png

06_installed.png

3 downloaded the package on Adobe Exchange:

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.39.51 AM.pngScreen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.40.31 AM.png

4. the file downloaded FROM the Adobe Exchange website:

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.42.10 AM.png

5. test the installation of the package shipped with ExManRoot:

Screen Shot 2016-07-28 at 10.45.02 AM.png

As you can see on the last screenshot, it simply puts the package in the extensions folder. No wonder he gets rejected! It seems that, despite the fact that I chose 'file ZXP"as the type of file to upload, it is always re-packaging packaging and causing the installation fails.

I doing something wrong or the uploader is wrong. I tried to contact [email protected] directly, but they do not handle individual cases and only suggested that I double check how I'm sending package. Well, not sure I can do that more clearly than above. Please help!

Hello

you have just packaged your extension as zxp. So you can download it in a single file and not use "create a new package:

  • Nobody distributes addons via the adobe exchange site?

    Hi all

Sought to Adobe Exchange because the extensions Manager is amortized.

but the research itself, it seems to be a complete scam!

    https://www.adobeexchange.com/upgrade

It has a button apply to become a commercial producer, the link is broken however.

so I don't know what they would charge me.

    Adobe Exchange

This document specifies: (even in low, last paragraph)

    ADOBE EXCHANGE RECIPES SHARE

Applicable account fees will be deducted developer returned by the Adobe payment processor. For more information on Adobe payment processor fees, contact the payment processor Adobe.

then, it is the only option for payment online being FastSpring.

Fresh FastSpring of 8.9% and transfer.

all of this, unless I have to sell hundreds of addons every month, you lose 50% + directly at the exit of the top.

and it's their replacement for the extensions Manager.

The application Extension Manager doesn't support CC 2015, but the new command line tools do:

    Adobe Exchange

    No, we use Adobe Exchange.

I would say that most of our work to support themselves plugins to install in the first place. As well as the issue of fees, using Adobe Exchange just adds another layer of complexity to the installation process.

If you look at the Adobe Exchange troubleshooting guide, add ons:

    Adobe Exchange

Step 7 is "try installing with the extensions Manager! There is a note on it does not not with CC 2015, but this means that you must support all issues that may arise in steps 1 through 6 as well as all installation issues, you are already dealing with.

The link you posted to become a producer of Commercial States "By Invitation only" which may explain why does not the button apply.

    Hello!

I develop a panel of Flex for Photoshop CS5.* and 6 using Creative Suite Extension Builder 2. This version has a new feature called Adobe Exchange that allows extensions to be marketed and sold. If I understand correctly, this feature is only supported on CS6.

I have a few questions about a zxp approval recommendations.

[Instructions 1] Content shall not contain any URL or redirect anywhere other than producers identity box links in the extensions Manager.

[Issue] Means that we cannot have a url to our panel that directs the user to any other than producers identity box in the extension manager?

[Directives 2] Content does not have encryption technology.

[Issue] This means that our group cannot in any way have a code for encryption, whether to store values as identifiers, etc.. ?

[Line 3] The product must support the versions of the Creative Suite CS6 applications. Products that are supported on earlier versions are not accepted.

[Issue] Does this mean that a panel with the support of CS5.* and CS6 will not be downloaded on Adobe Exchange?

Please shed some light on the above.

    Thank you!

    Hello

    I answered your questions below.

I develop a panel of Flex for Photoshop CS5.* and 6 using Creative Suite Extension Builder 2. This version has a new feature called Adobe Exchange that allows extensions to be marketed and sold. If I understand correctly, this feature is only supported on CS6.

[Answer]: Yes CS6 is necessary, but you can have a product that is backward compatible with products earlier than as CS5 CS6. In other words if you already own a product that supports say CS4/CS5 and CS6, you do not have to do anything outside Strip we just need to have the CS6 compatibility to be supported on the new Adobe Exchange website.

[Answer]: what you can't do is to point to another bank or purchase page. For example, if you could link to additional information about your product, but you could not provide a direct link to another store and purchase option. As long as you do not have a direct link to another URL store we are OK with it.

[Directives 2] Content does not have encryption technology.

[Issue] This means that our group cannot in any way have a code for encryption, whether to store values as identifiers, etc.. ?

[Answer]: the issue of encryption is really on encryptng or the creation of the possibility to encrypt. He returned to the United States want if ensure that we do not export anything that could affect the United States, so for example a product we will encrypt secret information may cause problems for the U.S. Government. There are very few cases that I can think of where it might be the case, but it begs the question from a legal point of view. We expect a cipher for things like for example a login name and that should be OK but if you have questions please say Yes and we can study. 99% of the time, it is not a problem, but we will work with producers to help you if you have any questions or concerns on this subject.

[Line 3] The product must support the versions of the Creative Suite CS6 applications. Products that are supported on earlier versions are not accepted.

[Issue] Does this mean that a panel with the support of CS5.* and CS6 will not be downloaded on Adobe Exchange?

[Answer]: so you can have backward compatibility in your product, just make sure that your product works with S6, if it works with older versions of

    CS is good.

    I hope the above helps.

  • Cannot create private success InDesign Extension for Adobe Exchange

I tried everything to make it work.

I used the Adobe Exchange Packer, package manager online at the Adobe Exchange website all without luck.

The closest I got it work is add my product to Adobe Exchange and CC picked him up. However, when I will look in 2015 CC IDSN I don't see my extension in "window-> Extensions."

Looking at the file system I can see where my ZXP appears in "Store EM-> virtual product" but I think that it is in "store EM-> InDesign."

I don't know if it's the manifest.xml, Packers or what.

    It makes me crazy.

    Please help me. Thank you.

We've thought of it. We do not have the Bundle ID, the ID of the Extension and the name of Bundle how to navigate. After that we have re-established our ZXPs have been accepted and correctly place.

  • Problem downloading ZXP on Adobe Exchange

I can't load my ZXP for my add on Extension for Photoshop Panel. The ZXP file installs correctly when you use the ExManCmd command line utility, but as soon as I download it from the Adobe Exchange website it seems to wrap it in another ZXP file that causes the installation fails (it throws no error during installation, but it does not appear as an available in Photoshop extended. If I install the ZXP origin it illustrates).

I also tried to download my source directly to trade and which causes the same problem.

Hoping you can give me advice on what I'm doing wrong. This is the command I use to generate the ZXP:

    «. / ZXPSignCmd-sign/path/to/src/folder /path/to/output.zxp /path/to/file.p12 P12CertPassword'

    Two follow-up questions:

-What can I specify as the installation location when I download on the Adobe Exchange website?

Also, should I be worried the TSA/timestamp when packing the ZXP? Because my ZXP is get wrapped up with another in a ZXP may not be a problem, but the fact that it is not installed in the right way is perhaps the question.

-When I use:-tsa https://timestamp.GeoTrust.com/TSA , I get a 404 error and any other authority TSA seems to work. Here is the exact error: "error - the timestamp returned by the elected TSA cannot be verified, the ZXP created is likely to be rejected by other tools. Please recreate your ZXP with a different trust TSA. "I don't really think that it is a question. "

    Hi Max,.

I think the main thing that goes wrong on the side producer Portal is that you select 'Create a new package (ZXP)' rather than ' download a single file (I already have a ZXP...). This causes so the ZXP downloaded itself be copied to the installation location specified, rather than the content of your ZXP copied it. I suggest to remove your patch and try again - if you already have a signed ZXP you can install via ExManCmd, then it should just be a case of upload and should not be asked to specify an installation location.

The command that you use to sign the ZXP seems correct

    . / ZXPSignCmd-sign/path/to/src/folder /path/to/output.zxp /path/to/file.p12 P12CertPassword

You may need to add the path in quotes if they contain spaces or special characters.

The latest version of ZXPSignCmd can be found here:

    https://github.com/Adobe-CEP/CEP-resources/tree/master/ZXPSignCMD/3.0.19

About adding a time stamp with the "-tsa" option - unfortunately the changes in OS X El Capitan have introduced problems with the use of the timestamp of Geotrust. We are working on that, but in the meantime timestamp using Geotrust works only on Windows and older versions of Mac OS X.

In any case, time stamp is not mandatory and you can work around this problem by creating a self-signed certificate and specifying a long validity with the option - validityDays:

    ZXPSignCmd - selfSignedCert [options]

    Options:

    -Community - orgUnit - - validityDays by e-mail

  • I can't download a usable mulib Adobe exchange for Sellfy

OK, I'm on Adobe Exchange for free add ons, but none of them can be found.  Only the file extension manager that will open the file and view the files Flash CS6.  The extension manager doesn't support Muse.  My download folder does no other files.  Synchronization of files is not turned recently, but she now is default.  So, what gives?  Any suggestions?  I tried all methods of installation and troubleshooting topics appear on the site from Exchange without result.

    Hello

Content extensions Watch Manager of Flash CS6 means you have Extension manager installed CS6.

Please launch your creative cloud desktop app and install Extension manager CC.

Once done, you can observe others who figure in the CC extensions Manager following Muse related modules.

Please try to install the add-on again to the page Add on free (if already purchased, please remove and install again) this time, you will find the mulib file in the download folder.

Double-click the Mulib file and it will install it in the Library tab in Muse.

  • Adobe Exchange does not update/installation

    Hello

I'm writing in the first forum since the problem I face is in first Pro CC 2015.2. But will also post in the Forum of modules as well. Cannot find exactly the problem in each forum.

When I go to the window > Adobe Exchange, the window shows that I have to perform an update to get the latest improvements and bug fixes. When I click on update, it begins to download the necessary file then starts the installation...

and that's where it crashes. It never installs. I leave almost 12 hours of the day to the next, but never completed. The file that download is only about 134MB. Now, we know all that it does not have more than 12 hours to install this amount of information. I am attaching a video that shows what is happening.

What could be the problem here? Why this hangs like this?

I want to be able to search and install modules directly when working in first and I do not do through the browser.

Adobe Extension Manager and all the other Adobe programs are up to date and works very well.

Please let me know if there is any other forum post in.

    Thanks in advance,

    Andy

    Hi all

I was faced with this problem for a long time.

When I'm uploading my Extension for first pro CC Panel, I get this message from Adobe Exchange.

    < / product >

In my mxi file and the ZXP is install correctly in Premiere pro versions CC, 2014 and 2015.

But when I upload the same ZXP his shows this error.

When I changed the label of products with details of the document Adobe Exchange forum to test different scenarios [https://www.adobeexchange.com/resources/7#packman]

  • Adobe Photoshop 2015 missing extensions 7.3.2.39 Manager.

Adobe Photoshop 2015 does not appear in 7.3.2.39 on OS X 10.9.5 and 10.11 extensions Manager (beta 6), but it displays perfectly on 10.10.4. I rely on the extension manager for Add-ons management and testing. I went through a few forums and it seems to be a common problem for other users, but I can't find a solution.

    Well I just found this...

    Adobe Exchange

Does not resemble 15 CC and the extension manager should work together because it is only supported up to 14 CC.

  • How to install Adobe Exchange Panel

All attempts to download the Adobe Exchange Panel you end up with a Zip file with any executable file in IT.

    Photoshop CS6 13.0.1 64bits

Download 'Adobe Exchange for CS6 Add-ons panel' of these links https://www.adobeexchange.com/download# https://www.adobeexchange.com/panel download the zip without an executable file to install it.

The extension manager is no help because it will install only .zxp or .mxp files.

This discussion https://forums.Adobe.com/message/6397105#6397105 gives the right answers, but all links to a download Adobe Exchange Panel lead to a zip file. The latest entry in the discussion of fgregor May 22, 2014 02:32 (in response to Deepak_artist) gives a link that is supposed to be a file .zxp but it is also a Zip file.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Please rename this file to AdobeExchange_cs6.zxp, then install it with Extension Manager CS6.

  • Updated Adobe Exchange problem

Hello, I can not update my Adobe Exchange Panel in InDesign.

    Hi Julie,.

Adobe InDesign is not to support the Adobe Exchange website as an extension of InDesignCC2014 ownwards.

Most of the Adobe Exchange services, have now been incorporated into browse Add ons that you can find in the submenu of Windows.

Ideally Adobe Exchange does not exist in your windows--> menu Extensions, but you might have another Adobe product that makes it look at this place.

So what has happened to you is somehow expected for further investigation on who caused this, may I ask what other Adobe products you have on your system?

In InDesign, CC 2014 Adobe Exchange has been replaced with the modules that are available by choosing window > Browse Add-ons. Rather than consider the modules in a Panel, you will take the from a creative Cloud browser interface. This is true for other applications of 2014 CC as well.

  • Adobe Exchange does not not in CS6

I'm trying to install Adobe Exchange in Photoshop CS6. I am able to download the Installer "AdobeExchange_cs6.zxp" and use the extensions Manager to "load", and it appears in the list of extensions for Photoshop. But it is not available in the Extensions menu in Photoshop CS6. Yes, I restarted Photoshop.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, still no luck.
