Re-installing windows XP (No ethernet drivers)
So I've been through many other positions and even tried a few downloads and none of them worked. I guess it's because my PC is a different version. I have a HP Compaq dc5100mt. I had to re-install XP Pro SP2 and after reinstall I have save product key, so I plugged in an ethernet cable and the light comes on but I went in networking and has no internet connection. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello
Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.
You must download and install * all * the drivers of your computer. They can be found here:
Choose Windows XP Home or Pro and download all the drivers. Burn it to a CD/DVD, or copy them to a USB key. Transfer to computer XP (HP Compaq dc5100mt) and install. When you're ready, reboot/restart.
Finally, network should work fine and you may need to configure your network settings based on your ISP or your network administrator.
Several notes - Windows XP is very old operating system which is is more officially supported which means no official support, not more of updates and fixes for XP. We recommend that you buy a new computer and upgrade to the new OS.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/end-support-help
If you choose to stay with Windows XP, make sure that you:
-upgrade to Service Pack 3 (XP SP2 is since 2004, SP3 is since 2008)
-install all the updates of Microsoft and Windows for your computer to start-> Windows updates or http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
s ' ensure you're well protected with the program of good antivirus/antimalware, firewall, etc. such as Norton Internet Security or Kaspersky Internet Security, etc...
If it please let me know if something is not clear and do not hesitate to ask for assistance if you have problems.

Lenovo Y50 cannot install Windows 7 - no device drivers were found
Hi I just bought the laptop Lenovo Y50 and wanted to install windows 7 Home premium 64-bit instead of preinstalled windows 8. I use the external dvd drive because there is not an intern. I had to change the start of the legacy settings to boot from usb. However when I get to the part where I press "install windows" error comes up saying that no device drivers were found. I am able to navigate and see my sheets but not able to select one. Help, please! Thank you in advance.

You should consider dual-boot instead:
You will first need to go to the website of manufacturers for your model computer and first find out if there are native drivers in Windows 7. A large number of computers that are preloaded with Windows 8 have no native driver support for Windows 7 by the manufacturer. If there is no native driver, you will need to consider returning the machine and buying a machine preloaded with Windows 8 Pro with downgrade rights to Windows 7 Professional. Or look through the catalogue of manufacturers for systems already preloaded with Windows 7, usually the business sector will have these options.
Return the laptop if it came preloaded with Windows 8 and purchase one already preloaded with Windows 7, they are always available:

Game Pavilion notebook: new laptop install windows 7 but no drivers to install
Hello
I bought this product HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook MOU20AV (from bios) number.

After installation, there is no installed drviers. No network, no USB.

Same problem, no drivers.
What I need is the network drivers that I guess I can get while downloading.

Bootcamp installed Windows but not the drivers software.
I use BCA 6.0 on my new MBP (early 2015), that's why I decided to post a new question. I've seen this problem with other people, but if it's 5 BCA it is a simple support, download and install via USB. Windows installs correctly and I can use a select statement to be little (without gestures trackpad, bluetooth keyboard) but I have no internet to fetch updates. I downloaded a software support called Brigadier recovery tool, but it requires an internet connection that I have not the driver for. I also tried to use the BCA 5 drivers but it says "this version of Boot Camp is not designed for this model". Is there anyway that I can get around this problem?
Brigadier general can be run on the side OSX or Windows. You can also download the drivers from BC using BCA on OSX.

Installed Windows 8 and all drivers; unknown device
I always have an unknown device in Device Manager:
ACPI\VEN_LEN & DEV_0078
I have the latest version of the bios 2.02.
Does anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks for your suggestion. I initially thought the same thing and reinstalled the driver for power management, but the unknown device is still there. It's actually the Intel Management Engine Interface 8.1 and Serial Over LAN (SOL) Driver for Windows 8 (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPad I forgot to install.

Can satellite A100-003 - I install Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit?
Hello everyone,
I have the Satellite A100-003 and I've been running it with Windows XP since I it (triple). Now I want to install Windows 7 on it, however, I'm confused about what can I install on it.
I have a few places on the Toshiba site, I found that I can install Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit), but I can met some problems with the BIOS, in other places, I tried but could not find the drivers for Windows 7 64 bit.
So what is the case? My first goal is to install windows 7 64 bit, because I have 4 GB of RAM on my laptop, but even the 32 bit would be a better choice than XP right now.
So I can install Windows 7 64 bit on my laptop? Thanks in advance for any answer!
Hello
Important before installing another OS, you check the Toshiba driver download page. Satellite A100-003 belongs to the PSAARE series and is therefore not available for Windows 7 drivers. You can only get the drivers for Windows XP and Vista 32 bit.
This means that you can try to install Windows 7 because Vista drivers most also work on Windows 7.
If this isn't the case you find newer drivers yourself, maybe you can find something. -
Installed Windows &; 32 Bit drivers and USB ports don't DO NOT WORK.
I bugh a laptop HP Pavillion 14 TS who came to preinstall Windows 8.1 64-bit I hate so wiped the drives and installed Windows 7 32 bit and now I have a big problem. None of my network drivers work and 2 uSB ports where I plug in my mouse and other devices of SB to do more work.
I did a back up of the established SW leader who has all the HP dvers for my laptop but will not install the network and video of divers. And when I try to install the drives, I get the error message saying that they are not compatible with this version of Windows.
I loked on the HP site under my model of laptop that s as above, but HP don't do my notebook drivers for Windows 7 32. And I looked on both the Realteck site for network wireless Realteck and Ethernet Realteck drivers but none of them work or install on my OS. Intel video drivers do not work either. So I'm really stuck one I can not return to 8.1 Windows as if that 32-bit Windows 7 works on my laptop but most of my drivers is not compatible with the operating system and I don't want not to install 64-bit Windows, I like 32-bit.
Drivers that do not work on Windows 7 32-bit are:
Realteck RTL8188EE 802 - 11 b/gn witeless lan
Die Ethernet Realteck and
Intel High definition graphics driver
That don't work at all under Windows 7 32 bit because they are the only 64-bit drivers.
So can you please post me a link network bth and drvers of graphics from Intel that works with my laptop. I tried many different drivers Realteck and raphics for Windows 7, but none of them DOES not work on my system. And none of my USB ports are no longer works. So, how can I fix this?
Hello:
Should be no problem to get W7 32 bit to work on this model.
Just use all the drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G0 on your model, except the Audio, BIOS and firmware files.
Your model uses only the Intel HD graphics driver.
The first pilot, you need to install the Intel chipset installation utility and reboot.
Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the driver first on the list.
If for some reason, this model Intel HD graphics driver does not work, use this one...

System crashed, re-installed Windows XP, No - do Internet access drivers
System has started meeting with random outages and bottlenecks a week ago. Frequency has increased and I decided to re - install WinXP last Saturday. Re-installed Windows XP CD from Dell system software. RELOADED MS Office without problems. Unable to connect to the Internet, however. For controller driver Ethernet (as well as several other devices) has not been installed. Tried to re - install the driver using Dell driver and Utilities CD, but the software could not find the drivers. What are my options? BTW - I also received the call from Microsoft (Indian) "customer/technical support saying that my machine was broadcasting it had a virus and they would help me to repair my system - I wonder if they have introduced a virus/trojan and started this mess first... and take care of it."
Visit the Dell web site, click on the Technical Support link, then the support for the link to the homepage of the users. Click on drivers and downloads, enter the serial number or Express Service Code of your Dell. All the drivers you need are here.

Hey guys,.
I just installed Windows 7 64 bit on Windows 7 - laptop OS, but did not not any possibility of installing drivers. USB 2.0 does not respond, ethernet cable - no drivers. How can I possibly have to load drivers for the laptop computer?
I'll try to find a solution, but nothing, only the similar problem was to change in the BIOS USB 3.0 2.0, but I have no idea how do in Insydeh20 bios.
Hello
If I understand you correctly, you have installed Windows 7 on your computer, but can not load the drivers that you don't have drivers CD. In addition to this, you can not connect to the internet through an Ethernet cable. In this scenario, we can only do two things to solve the problem.
1. try to contact your computer manufacturer and ask the driver CD after mentioning your model number. You can also visit one of the shop of the manufacturer of your computer and ask the drivers CD and see if they can help.
2. you can download the .exe file from the site of the constructor on any of the advertising of work computer and then install it on your computer using CD/DVD/USB.
Hope I could answer your query. Feel free to post on the forum, if you have concerns more associated with Windows. We will be happy to help you.
Kind regards

Problem with Ethernet drivers with Windows 10 compatibility
Windows 10 knocks out my earthnet Microsoft says my dell compatible driver so if 10 windows will fix the problem I will download 10 I'm not used to having to do all the gel and re install my7 auto so get with him 10
< original="" title:="" windows="" 10="">
Hi Mitchell,
Thanks for posting on Microsoft Community.
According to the description, I understand the Windows compatibility check indicates that the Ethernet drivers are not compatible with Windows 10 on your Windows 7 computer. I will definitely help you to solve this problem.
I wish to inform you that the drivers are built by the manufacturer. Therefore, if the manufacturer does not have to build compatible with the upgraded version of Windows drivers and the compatibility check indicates that the drivers are not compatible so that you might face difficulties with the drivers on the new operating system.
However, you try to install the drivers in Compatibility Mode after upgrading you computer Windows 7-Windows 10. Please refer to the below mentioned steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode:
First download the driver from your computer manufacturer's website and install it then.
SE refer (make older programs compatible with this version of Windows)
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-Windows
Note: This link also applies to Windows 10.
Hope this information is useful. Please come back to write to us if you need more help, we will be happy to help you.
