• First reboot 13 elements during installation

  I tried to install the first instance first elements 13.  I tried 5 or 6 times, and each time the installer requires a reboot while trying to install the redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2012.  After the reboot, the installation does not complete, there is no icon, and if I try to run the installer I get an error message "Installer failed to initialize".

  First 13 items appear in the list "Uninstall a program" of the control panel.  But must I install the Application Manager to tell me that it can not uninstall the program.  If I run Adobe Creative cloud cleanser he sees first elements 13 and I can clean 13 elements successfullly, but anything that allows me to do is re run the installer, which still restarts at the same point.

  I even tried running system restore to reset the system from before I tried to install the first time.  I turn in circles here, and any help is appreciated.  As a user of Lightroom, I was hoping to try 13 items to see if I want to buy.

  Also note that I'm running on a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro (core i7) running Windows 8.1.  Thank you.

  have 89kraus you tried to reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ package that is reported as damaged?  You can find the correct download to latest supported Visual C++ downloads. If you continue to experience difficulties, please be aware that this one component of your operating system.  It should be installed appropriate before Photoshop elements 13 being installed successfully.

• Adobe Muse CC hangs @ 84% during installation

  I installed a few programs tonight, Premier Pro & Acrobat.  I tried to install Photoshop and Muse tonight and continues to run into problems during problems.  Muse continues to crash to 84% in the installation.  The last log entries are as follows:

  As Akuma writes it of not possible to create or modify partitions of HARD drive during the installation of recovery Toshiba.
  The Toshiba Recovery disk contains an image of the factory settings, and after that you can change the size of the partition yourself.

  I also use Partition Magic and it works really well. If you n t have this tool, you can Google for a freeware tool. ;)
