  To be precise, you put the 'library' (your image files) on your external hard drive. The 'software' is the program components itself. And Yes, your library is not affected by a failure of your main internal drive.

  Sorry, another definition of the word: a backup is necessarily a copy (in various forms, but a copy; for example, instead of a pure copy, you can have a zipped copy). This means that if your original disappears, your copy (backup) is available to restore the original. In both cases, an entry is recorded and listed in the catalogue with the location (path) of the file and a very small "thumbnail" is created and included in the vignette "cache" of your catalog folder.

  When you browse your pictures, you always have the opportunity to see the "details", "information" for a given file, you know the location, the drive and the path where it is stored.

  Just a comparison: a catalog in the Organizer, it's like the brochure catalog used for a Museum of painting. It tells you where to find a painting and shows a small image. If some tables is 'missing' at the Museum because they were absent during the restoration, you will continue to see the small images in the booklet. Ditto for the Organizer: moved the photo from the Explorer files will still show in the catalogue, but with a? sign.

  If you can find a version of the graphic converter that runs on your computer, which should be able to change the format of the batch.

  My images (more often. TIFF - but .jpg and .png) 'fade' through the pages of old that I print on. I pull the image in Photoshop and have tried all kinds of variations (compared to my help of Photoshop and Photoshop books) and then I print the images on the pages of old books. He has also done this with color images that I scanned in. How I do my non-transparent image on the page of the book? I have attached a sample of what's going on.   If you use a standard inkjet or LaserJet printer this problem still occurs.  You have to look in screen printing, if you want your image of the clown to appear as if he's sitting on top the text rather than the text of bleeding through it.  Silkscreen, although not in all cases, can use ink opaque (it's like paint, but it's called ink).

  I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) to do my job.

  At the present time, I have a task to create a banner with dimension 800 x 900 cm with resolution 300 DPI and color RGB 16-bit Mode.

  The size of the file when the vacuum is about 56.1 GB.

  The problem is, when I add a text with the Horizontal type tool, click the tool move, appear the Type of rendering screen, and take a time very very long to finish.

  I made some configurations to my Photoshop I found on the Forum from Adobe, but the problem still persists.

  Some configurations I've done is:

  -Turn off automatically save it recovery information

  -Set maximize PSD and PSB files for compatibility

  -Set the memory to 95% usage

  -Set the level of Cache to 8 and 1024K Cache tile size

  -Set the Advanced Graphics Drawing Mode advanced settings, check the option use graphics processor to speed up the calculation and uncheck the anti-alias and 30-bit display

  -Set the disc scratch on another partition (C:System D:PageFile E: Data F: Scratch disk)

  And after all of this Setup, my Photoshop still slow when rendering Type.

  300 dpi for a banner size is categorically not normal.  Guaranteed.

  Get specific instructions of the shop that will print it.

  You keep confusing ppi with dpi.  The resolution of an image file really is expressed in DPI, pixels per inch, not ""dpi ' i.e. points per inch. "  The exact terminology is:

  • DPI = dots per inch = units used to measure the resolution of a printer
  • LPI = lines per inch = offset printing 'lines' or dots per inch in a halftone or line screen.
  • PPI = Pixels per inch = the number of pixels per inch in terms of file screen/scanner.

  Talk to your printer.  I suspect they'll want a card at the address under 75 dpi, or even much less.  Follow the advice/request to the printer.

  This happens because your screen resolution is less than the required minimum of 1024 x 768.

  You can try to change the resolution of the monitor and check.

  Mix/Fix can open images at full resolution instead of images of downsizing to 2048px when opening an image compared to the Creative clouds > Lightroom. Please update your application and let me know if you are facing this problem of pixelation always. Also, remember that if you use images downloaded from the internet or other places, they are smaller and so pixelated.

  This will depend on how the tags were saved. If you see the tags in your browser (windows Explorer or mac finder) files, then you should be fine.

  If this version of photoshop is located on your computer and works fine, I want to leave until you know how the tags behave when you upgrade. There is nothing that says that you need to uninstall an earlier version. Or at least until you think necessary.

  I noticed that the small type psd file icon displays more on my PSD thumbnails in Explorer. I tried everything to get that back, but nothing helped. While trying to figure it out, I discovered that all my PSD files now say they are ".. image16'." I guess that means that they are 16-bit, but they are not. They are only 8 bits, so why Photoshop says they are 16? And how do I get the icon back?

  I'm more on Windows 7 I have not installed Windows 10.  However for that loon that I can remember. PSD files have been Adobe Photoshop, image 15.  I see in windows 10 that has not changed in my Explorer of Windows Windows file association abd files. However it looks like .psd in the register a .psd as Photoshop.Image.16. Photoshop.Image.16 open with CC 2015 on my system.  I don't use CC 2015, there are too many bugs so I put the file types that I edit with associations of default file from Photoshop to CC, 2014.  I still CC 2015 installed so I can test the updates to the release of Adobe.  I have CS2, CS6, CC, CC 2014 install as well as CC 2015.  There are differences in all versions.
