You need not HPConnection Manager to make these connections. You can uninstall it without having to reinstall.

The function of HPConnection Manager is to make it easier to establish links for people who have trouble getting wireless or bluetoothconnections.

If you know how to pair with bluetooth, perform file transfers and have no problem with establishing a wireless connection on your own, then you can uninstall it.

  • hpConnectionManager.exe could not load the Assembly

Hello. Before I'm begins, here are some of my features.

Product name: HP ProBook 450 G1

    Product number: G4T52UT #ABA

    Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Service Pack 1

Don't know what else you need, but I'm willing to give it.

Also, whenever I boot from a complete stop, I get this lovely error after a minute or two:

So little, can I tell yoou departure:

1: I customized the appearance of my Windows 7 environment.

I used this site to get my theme and here for icons. I made sure that I have Windows 7 and not 8, so it should be good.

(Login screen and the start screen have been changed also, but that was after the problem started occurring.)

2: I remember trying to install the theme differently at first and then having to return because of a few cosmetic errors system restore, but I forgot my original method (which is what I think has created this problem, but I don't know).

3: when I press fn + esc to attempt to access information from the HP System I get a similar error (see below) which, at the end, also closes the sys info box.

4: I fixed the .NET framework and software framework HP twice, without success.

    Everything else works great.

Even if it is not a problem of high priority (and is probably my fault for messing around) I appreciate any help you have to offer.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for the information. Recently, I had to completely re - install windows and lost all my data (completely different pattern but it's nothing - could someone helped me with), but got things very well again, no more than troubled market. I appreciate your time. Go ahead and lock or delete this thread.

  • HP connection manager: Fatal Error, HP Connection Manager Service has stopped responding.

    Hey there,

I have a very big problem with HP Connection Manager 4 on several Windows 7 laptops. The program is installed on about 250 laptop computers and some of them drive me crazy. Everything was fine until some point (I'm not quite sure, that could be after the installation of SP1, Win7), the connection manager has decided to stop working on some machines. Whenever I try to start it, it takes a long time to load until the following message is displayed:

    "HPConnectionManager.exe - fatal error '.

HP Connection Manager service has stopped responding. Quit and restart the application.

A fatal error occurred, check the HP connection manager in the event viewer for more details.

I tried the following on one of these books:

-Start the service manually: "Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly."

-Msconfig: Removed any connection associated with Autostart Manager

    -Reinstall the HP connection manager

    -Repair HP Connection Manager

    -Reinstall .NET 3.5

    -Changed some regkeys

-Install Microsoft Hotfix KB2519740 which is part of the system essential updates for Microsoft Windows 7 (that I can't download because there is a server error)

-Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, SP1 (English and German MUI)

The only thing that really works is to reinstall the laptop with the image with which we install all of them. HP connection manager is installed as a software later so I don't understand why a reinstall is successful.

I'm really tired of this problem, and I have a few unhappy customers on my back, so if you have any suggestions for me, please help.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Help conflict error ProBook 4730 s

I have a Probook 4730 of s with Windows 7. I keep getting the following error after the computer starts-

    Could not load the Assembly:

It does not have a negative impact, but it is annoying getting this every time you start. Thanks for any advice on how to solve this problem.

Click programs and features, and find and uninstall the HP Connection Manager software.

This should stop the message from happening. If you need the software to make your wireless internet connection, you can download the latest version of your laptop support portal and reinstall.

  • Use high CPU (35% average) while System Idle process CPU about 98% but frustrated by "[name of the prog] has stopped working".

    Hello

I am trying to help someone with a laptop HP model g6-1202sa (Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit, another record at the end of the post).

I think that Windows is now updated and drivers, but the problem remains also.

The laptop has the symptoms mentioned in the title I found the Manager tasks.  Laptop fan is on a large part of the time, and the owner says that, during the execution of something more intensive than Skype for example of internet browsing, they get a warning from Norton on high CPU. Resource monitor shows that system interrupts are on average about 31% CPU.

The results, I found the task manager has led to some research on Google, which in turn led me to want to run adksetup.exe (Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit) in the hope of discovering if a particular driver is causing the problem. (Various threads on the internet point to what is the way to go).

However, after downloading adksetup.exe, when I try to launch it I get the initial screen of Toolbox and then 'assessment of Windows and the deployment for Windows 8.1 Kit has stopped working ". (Verification of the solution finally gives the only option to "Close the program").  Similarly, I have now discovered that if I try to look at the properties of the computer, i.e. start > right click on computer > left click on properties, I get "Windows Explorer has stopped working". Do more research on Google I find sometimes I get "Internet Explorer has stopped working" sometimes (Chrome is ok).  More out of curiosity than anything specific I ran AMD VISION Engine Control Center after right click on the desktop and ended with 'Catalyst Control Center; The host Application has stopped working".

So before going any further, does anyone have any ideas what's happening?   I do not understand the problems 'has stopped working"in safe mode, but the high utilization of the processor with System Idle Process around 98% is still there.  It appears so that I can run adksetup.exe in safe mode while this would be the way to proceed and continue to try to tackle the problem of CPU?

For the record, some of the things I've done along the way include update of Windows, updating drivers, running the file system (no violation of integrity) checker, a regular chkdsk ("CHKDSK discovered free space marked allocated in the master file table (MFT) bitmap. Correcting errors in the volume bitmap. Windows has made corrections to the file system").  Swapped the only module memory 4GB 2 x 1 GB modules I had to hang out, all the symptoms remained 4 GB then reinstalled.

    Thanks for the tips

As you can see there are at least a dozen of them which are probably related to the high utilization of the processor.

The drivers are not updated (Bet you checked in the Manager device or with a sweeper driver as app)

To be honest I don't see how SFC returned no breach of integrity account required to this type of problems.

It might just be easier to re - install win 7, but I'm happy to help anyway
