Adobe Photoshop CS6 change Save Preferences file

I've been using Photoshop since version 5.0

I've recently updated to CS6 and whenever I try to save a file it records in TIFF format. Even a file with multiple layers. I guess it could be changed in the preferences under edit/preferences/file manipulation, or something else.

Cannot do. I'm a little annoyed that I change the format in the Save as dialog box whenever I'm working on a new file.

No matter which help out me?

I just thought of it. It was Lightroom, not PS. Lightroom was created to open as TIFF files.

Computer: Intel (r) Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM and 600 GB free on my C: drive, you use Windows 10 and extended CS6.
I have a complex shape file (made primarily of a pen tool) which is a solid color, with the text of the string in a headband which have been converted to shapefiles. I merged the individual forms into one, and it won't save. I tried to save it with them separated, and it won't save as EPS or PDF. It will save as PNG, JPEG and PSD.
I need to save as EPS or PDF so that I can have sent to the printer.
Both get a message "will not save due to program error".
She will record her earnings per share if I remove "include vector data", but I need that checked. So, what could be the problem? All the paths look accurate.
Help?

You helped me to realize that the original forms have been disturbing Photoshop. Either he had too many vector points or... a link curve that he did not like... so since they are all form files, I merged them all together. Then, with the tool pen is selected, click right and choose 'set Custom Shape'... After about 10 minutes of waiting, Photoshop has accepted this and allowed me to save.

Then, I created the new document and put the image there via the custom shape file. And he saved.

Adobe Photoshop CS6... How to store files?

My son installed the trial version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 on his computer. He had any other problems with it and I was instructed by a computer technology to uninstall the program; He was corrupting other files. Is it possible that I can keep its files/images, where it can access?

How to restore the display correct mode interface color in adobe photoshop CS6?

I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden (I do not know because he started to do) he changed the appearance of the colors in the interface of my Adobe Photoshop CS6 (Windows 7, office).

Corrupt photoshop CS6 when opening any file

Hello, I have a strange problem. My photoshop CS6 look at any file I open as corrupt (see examples below) but when I save them, they are ok in the preview windows / bridge etc... its only showing really weird in photoshop! I don't know what changed all of a sudden! I have not changed the settings!
Does anyone know why photoshop is being weird? I'm on a windows 7, 64 - bit PC and this problem is not only limited to my PC, my colleagues have also today the same question on their PC too!

This could be the problem now familiar ATI driver where it will be black on any color where the red channel is 0. Do you have all the video cards ATI?

There are several workaround solutions... One of them, you should get working again:

1. install the driver beta ATI Catalyst 13.2 from the ATI web site (that's my recommendation).

2. back to the driver ATI Catalyst 12.8, specifically. Do not install any version later 12.8 or earlier to 13.2.

3. change your preferences of Performance, advanced GPU settings in basic mode and restart Photoshop.

I have personally tested the pilot 13.2 beta 5 for a week now, and it works perfectly stable. I have not yet tested beta 6. ATI seems to have finally listened to Adobe and fixed the issue in article 13.2.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 (x 64) crashes on print

After that we have changed the default printer, Adobe Photoshop CS6 (x 64) crashes when you click the button print. The x 86 cs6 works very well.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 very slow on the Type of rendering

I have a laptop with specification as mentioned below:
Lenovo Ideapad Y470P
- 2nd generation processor Intel Core i7-2670QM (2.2 GHz 1333 MHz 6 MB)
- Windows 7 Ultimate x 64
- AMD Radeon HD 7690 2 GB
- 8. 0 GB PC3 - 10600 DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz
- 750 GB 5400
I use Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) to do my job.
At the present time, I have a task to create a banner with dimension 800 x 900 cm with resolution 300 DPI and color RGB 16-bit Mode.
The size of the file when the vacuum is about 56.1 GB.
The problem is, when I add a text with the Horizontal type tool, click the tool move, appear the Type of rendering screen, and take a time very very long to finish.
I made some configurations to my Photoshop I found on the Forum from Adobe, but the problem still persists.
Some configurations I've done is:
-Turn off automatically save it recovery information
-Set maximize PSD and PSB files for compatibility
-Set the memory to 95% usage
-Set the level of Cache to 8 and 1024K Cache tile size
-Set the Advanced Graphics Drawing Mode advanced settings, check the option use graphics processor to speed up the calculation and uncheck the anti-alias and 30-bit display
-Set the disc scratch on another partition (C:System D:PageFile E: Data F: Scratch disk)
And after all of this Setup, my Photoshop still slow when rendering Type.

300 dpi for a banner size is categorically not normal. Guaranteed.

Get specific instructions of the shop that will print it.

You keep confusing ppi with dpi. The resolution of an image file really is expressed in DPI, pixels per inch, not ""dpi ' i.e. points per inch. " The exact terminology is:
- DPI = dots per inch = units used to measure the resolution of a printer
- LPI = lines per inch = offset printing 'lines' or dots per inch in a halftone or line screen.
- PPI = Pixels per inch = the number of pixels per inch in terms of file screen/scanner.

Talk to your printer. I suspect they'll want a card at the address under 75 dpi, or even much less. Follow the advice/request to the printer.

Hi Bruno.

Yes, it seems that your activation is not is defined as Ps Extended CS6, that is why all the 3D features are not present.

You can try to go to help > deactivate... and then clicking "deactivate permanently". Now quit Ps and revival; You should get the page of the contract of mandate. Re-enter serial number when it asks you if you want to license, and then make sure the 3D menu is displayed. (I have abbrieviated steps)

If it isn't, you need track your original order and check the details to make sure that you ordered and were charged for Ps CS6 Extended. If you need help with this, let me know and I can point you in the right direction.
