Adobe Photoshop Incompatible with Windows 7?

In general, I have no problems to install Microsoft, Corel, product HP software products products AV, dozens of others products of companies on my computer Windows 7 Home Premium. I never had problems installing Adobe products on ME, XP, Vista. However, each recent Adobe product, I bought have failed to install on Windows 7 Home Premium and this usually takes several hours to fix, if it can be fixed at all. It involves the creation of new accounts, disabling services, disable UAC, making restarts partial (I didn't even know those existed) and restarts normal, etc. (I have administrative rights on my purchases.

Today I was working (taken from my desktop computer control) customer service. We failed to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.

During installation, a windows dialog box displayed where it says that the Adobe installation .exe file is incompatible with the Windows UAC.

There is clearly something wrong with the installation program Adobe because Adobe products are the only products that can not be installed.

Why is it so difficult tp install Adobe products on a Windows 7 system?

Anyone know what is happening?

The Adobe installer is really incompatible with Windows 7 as Windows dialog box said?

Thomas,

To add to what has been written, install programs as an administrator

usually results in fewer problems. Regardless if the account has

permissions administrative, should always right click on the installer and run as administrator.

What you're saying, the problem must be something special on your computer.
