    Hi fabler80957302

Please confirm if you get the error message below

If so, it is a special type of PDF form with Adobe LiveCycle Designer. And mobile applications of Acrobat Reader do not support these forms.

I suggest for you please download the PDF document on your Windows or Mac desktop and open the same with the Acrobat reader DC desktop version.

Also please let us know if this is a different issue than that.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I also used the adobe cleaner, but nothing seems to help. Help, please! I have a lot of information in classes that are in pdf files. Thank you!!

    A few things to try...

    • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
    • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
    • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
    • It might even be a malware problem; See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html
  • Several copies of the Adobe Reader software are open by Windows Explorer without any request

Another solution is to uninstall Adobe Reader, to download and install
    Foxit Reader free software
    (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/) instead. Insofar as
I'm worried, Foxit is a better pdf reader.

  • Adobe Reader is causing problems in Windows 7

    Hello all,.

I was doing some research on this one and have so far no joy. We deploy Windows 7 in our office and I am a user and the only person who has problems.

They had installed Adobe Reader X and they started to have problems with it after what they have been upgraded to WINDOWS 7. When they went to print a PDF file, it began to block their PC for 3-5 minutes, after which they were able to continue their work.

This behavior is internmittent because it does not occur with every PDF and usually only happens once a day. Sometimes it's the first PDF of the day, sometimes in the middle of the day, but once he arrives, to happen again in the same day. Sometimes the user knows no problem for several days. We have succumbed in the determination of any motive or any individual in which this machine users is respectful of the different environment of any other machine users.

No other users are facing this problem.

The user has a laptop and he closes down to make the House every evening and opens the fees to the office every day.

Lately, this behavior has expanded when the user has just to open a PDF file. Their laptop will freeze for 3-5 minutes, and then they can continue their work.

Based on a very few articles, we have found on the subject, we have tried a number of things without success:

    • We tried to empty the cache memory of Adobe Reader
    • We have uninstalled Reader X and replaced it with Reader 9 x

We are hoping that someone out there who has seen anything like this before and can suggest some environmental or proceedural thing that missed us. It makes us mad.

Thanks in advance for any help.

How can I fix above question - what do I need to uninstall Adobe Reader?

But if I do that I will never be able to recover/fix previous PDF (now replaced by Word)?

T - Firefox or other parameters affect Adobe - If yes what should I do?

    Hi susans76239434,

As all your PDF documents are now appear as a word file, please right-click on any PDF file icon and choose ' open with... > choose default program > Adobe Acrobat XI "and click OK.

This will open the PDF with Acrobat files only and not Word.

Then, you can try to convert PDF into word via Adobe Reader.

Let me know how it goes.

  • How to make an advanced search when you use adobe reader software in a firefox window?

I used to be able to do an advanced search in a tab in firefox, but when I updated firefox to version 17.x 33.0 version, the interface has changed and I cannot figure out how to do more.

Finally, I realized that a simple search can be made with Ctrl-F, but I would get the Advanced Search Panel.
When I use internet explorer, it has a binoculars icon that will open the advanced search. Firefox doesn't have this.

In addition, Firefox put up their own PDF Viewer with version 19.0; It's no longer using the Adobe Reader plugin.  See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-browser-plugin-configuration.html

  • Windows XP Installation problem with Windows 7 Starter home

I was told that I would have no problem of family Windows XP Setup on a new computer comes pre loaded with Windows 7 Starter.

When I insert the CD with Windows XP, I get the following:

    Run setup.exe

I click on install Windows XP

Program is blocked due to compatibility issues.

Setup cannot continue because the version on the computer is newer than the version on CD.

Anyone know how to solve this problem and install Windows XP?

    Thank you Don

    Hello

I understand that you want to install Windows XP on Windows 7 Starter Edition.

    (1) is the retail Windows XP version or OEM version, you are trying to install?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. As the operating system installed on your computer is newer than the operating system you are trying to install.

To resolve this problem, you need to do a clean install to install Windows XP, and you try to run Windows 7 Setup, it will not work. So, I suggest you to boot from the XP CD (if necessary, first change the boot order in the BIOS) and follow the instructions for a clean install. It will initially format the drive for you, so make sure you back up everything you don't want to lose to external media first.

I hope this helps. Try the above steps and get back to us for assistance. We will be happy to help you.

    Adobe Reader

When I try to open a PDF file I get this message: this application has failed to start because AGM.dll is not found, re-installing the application may fix this problem. "When I click OK, it says"Acrobat failed to load its core DLL.

    (I reinstalled Adobe 9.3)

If you have Adobe 10 complete and install adobe reader 11 you get the same error "agm.dll not found."  Reader adobe 11 delete and you should be good to go.  You may need to do a repair of Adobe 10 so he can make the updates.
