  You should always uninstall programs.  Before that, however, you must disable by opening one of the applications in each different Suite and by selecting help-> Deactivate.

• Upgrade of Creative Suite 2 serials

  I have 3 copies of Adobe Creative Suite 2.  A copy is award-winning and two copies of the standard.  It was updated since the previous copies of the software and whenever I try to install, serial numbers show that the previous version required.  I could not locate previous versions of the software that have been purchased since it was a while, but have a Photoshop 6 installation available.  When you try this, it is still not able to locate installation and continue installing CS2.  Since then, we have bought CS4 full version of continue, but the use of at least one of these CS2 licenses is necessary for the work here.  Is there a way to complete this installation?

  Any help in this process is appreciated.

  I wasn't getting any error, just a box indicating that the installation did not find the previous ps install to verify proof of previous versions.  I have advanced and performed a complete installation of the previous photoshop and still he did not continue past this check.  After the computer restarts, I started the installation again and he was able to continue and found the previous installation very well.  Since I have a 64-bit win 7 PC, it was also a bit of trouble with the path for the installation but I used the BACK of C:\Progra~2\Adobe format for installation and now everything is fine.  Thanks for the reply!

  Abobe CS5 works very well for me in El Capitan. All fonts work ok it stable and fast.

  I have Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium of "" for Mac.  It was bought and downloaded ~ Nov 2010.  However, it seems that I never downloaded Adobe Acrobat, which looks like it is on a separate disk.  Long story... but am only to start using this software now after 2 years!  In any case, I wonder if I can download this drive safely at this point?  Also, I see that there are a number of updates that I should install, so I was wondering if I should hold off on those until after you download Acrobat?  I got a serial number for installation of other Adobe included in Creative Suite 5 software.

  I bought the Adobe Standard back Creative Suite edition when I started my studies in 2011 and recently had to do a reinstall of my PC Suite to an upgrade.

  Like many people, I was pretty unhappy when creative cloud came out in view of investment in software, that I had just done, so have never bothered by creative cloud, I don't actually I am happy with what I had already purchased.
  I managed to lose the drive and the box for the Creative Suite, if I do not have the Lightroom accompanying as part of an agreement, I don't think at the time, it would be a problem because I was able to download the software from the Adobe website to log on to my account, but now when I connect not only is based on the history of my purchase but if have products I had already recorded...

  Any ideas?

  When you start your ps cs4 install, you need to enter your serial number cs4 ps.  We then ask you to choose a product calling.  Select your prem cs2 suite.  you will be then asked prem cs2 serial thereafter.

  Enter the correct number at the right time.

• Creative Suite CS6 installation fails with strange error message

  I've recently updated Creative Suite Design Premium 3 for Mac to Creative Suite Design Premium 5.5 for Mac. I am eligible for a free upgrade to Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 for Mac and is waiting to receive a serial number for this update from Adobe. I have an Intel Core i5 iMac with 8 GB of RAM and OS X 10.7.3 on it.

  I downloaded today (May 8) Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 and tried to install it as a trial version (to fill the time until I get the serial number). However, the installation has failed several times after 30 minutes and after I installed a lot of folders and files with the error message 'failed to install. Genuine Adobe software check failed. The product you want to install is not a genuine Adobe software and appears to be counterfeit. "Before attempting to install this final version that I downloaded today on the Adobe site, I had never a beta version of the Creative Suite 6 or one of its components installed.

  I then uninstalled the Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 with the Adobe uninstaller, restarted my computer and also let the tool cleaner of the Creative Suite from Adobe (which did not find anything more uninstall).

  After that, I rebooted the computer again and tried again to install Creative Suite Web and Design Premium 6 and obtained again - after about 30 minutes of activity of the facility - the same error message.

  When I let the installer again he offered only Acrobat, Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop as programs that may be installed. I chose only Indesign and Photoshop and this installation is completed without error message.  When I let the installation program to run once more again it now offered only Acrobat and Illustrator as programs which could be installed. I chose only Illustrator and this facility is not ended, but ended (at 99% installation) with the same error message again. Although Indesign was allegedly installed successfully I can't launch it. Whenever I try to start it its icon bounces in the dock for a long time and then everything disappears just once again.

  Anyone here have an idea what's going on here and how this might get fixed? Why is the software that I downloaded directly from the site considered Adobe as false?

The new computer, I'll buy a 10 Windows installed because it's OS and I don't want to buy the ~ product Adobe $300 is only a year also (I don't have that kind of money).   You can view applications download Creative Suite 6 and download CS6 Design Standard.

  After you have entered your serial number of the cs6, select an earlier version you have and then enter the serial number of the previous version.

  Your existing installation of the Creative Suite is not affected by installing new applications of CC. For example, you can install and use Photoshop CS6 and Photoshop CC on the same computer.
