  See the help of Activation & deactivation and follow the links, so you can disable your CS3 (via chat). Be sure to have your serial number available. Then you should be able to activate on the new drive.

  A month ago, I had one of these new chip from my bank cards. Same number, different exp date and security code. But the update to this new information through with adobe for a reason even if my smart card works very well literally everywhere else I use online. I called my bank on it twice and they said the payment is displayed that has tried repeatedly, but Adobe is one of the few companies that is not updated with the new EMV technology which use of smart cards, and how they enter my card information (I tried with the service to the customer and that they continue to send me the link sure adobe) is not viable. I talked to 6 Adobe customer service representatives, and they all took my CC me info and reconfirmed my card does not work indeed and told me to call my bank on it.

  I tried to cancel my subscription and sign upward to a new plan using paypal, because it is perhaps my only payment option until Adobe is up-to-date with smart cards. But in order to sign up for a new plan that I have to pay my subscription behind my other plan. I'm completely stuck in a loop here and I have no way to pay.

  I just finished going in circles with Adobe on trying to get a download link for Adobe CS3 Web Premium.  My shop bought 5 licenses and now Adobe tells me that we are out of luck, and they cannot provide a download link.

  There is no way that I will propose to my employer that we buy new licenses for Adobe products if that's the way they reward the loyalty of the customers.

The serial number in the physical box that you buy in the store wasn't the number for the software.  It was the serial number in the cloud, very difficult to know when you see a serial number in the box with the Cd online.  But thanks for the reply to my post.
