Advice re. redirect 301 / htmaccess file

I hope this is the right place to post this question, bearing on http://www.Cumbria-dog-training.com/index.htm

Initially, I had an intro - with a http://www.sigling.is/IMO/imofishing/home.htm entry page index.htm page.
End of October / beginning of November, I deleted the intro page and renamed http://www.sigling.is/IMO/imofishing/home.htm index.htm.

However, looking for cumbria-Dog - Training.com gives a result original Homepage - unless I put the index.htm. in the search.

I was advised to create a 301 redirect.

My Web host, Crystaltech, said I have to do that, having then download a .htaccess file.

My Web site design knowledge is limited to say the least. Is that what I need to be careful with or avoid doing.

Available disk options cannot be set during the installation of the pool. If you have an existing pool that has not activated it then I think you need to create a new pool.

This could be an edge case, but basically, I wanted to know if I did the right thing.
I just upgraded to a basic plan to a marketing plan. The new Web site has different URL addresses and when I went to live any Google search returns when leading to a 404 error page. I don't know how long it takes for Google rescan the site and he classify correctly, but the only solution I could think is the creation of new pages, rename the URL with the URL of the previous Web site and redirecting them to new pages. You don't need to do.

You just need to go to the crib of redirection to URL and follow the instructions and the interface it to identify the old URL and where to 301 redirect there too.

Hey people adobe, Im wondering, I know you can configure each preference individually, but I want to redirect all caught space, storage of brushes and etc for all my programs in an another disc as volume change c / e /. Is there a way to do this with a program to make it easier? I don't want to accidentally delete files that are not all adobe programs.
The reason is I don't want anything else then store programs on the SSD, and theoretically, I want the other disk, so it can run faster.

Problem the multifaceted - Security Center does not respond / in IE8 Google searches are redirected / cannot attach files to MSN emails (browser blocks) HELP!

My problem is two (or three) times; Windows Security arrested Esentials closed and not would again be turned on; Windows Security Center is disabled and will not respond to all the methods of the market; IE 8 sends all Google search clicks to redirect pages and makes the back browser arrow almost impossible to use. E-mail MSN will not accept all attachments - blocks the browser window. I uninstalled Security Essentials and reinstalled nothing doesn't. Have gone to Spybot and Adaware and installed these programs and run them to "clean" the everything unwanteds but re-boots of a Security Center right back. No idea at all what to whether on programs related to the re - search on Google. Uninstalled and installed the final license, two of them I had to Norton 360. Note: you should never have more than one security program installed on the PC, providing active protection / scan. This can cause performance problems, system instability and may adversely affect the effectiveness of these two products to provide protection.

Scenario 1:

I suggest you to disable any program of security on your computer and check if the browser redirects.

After reviewing the question you must reactivate the security on your computer program.

Note: run the computer without antivirus software or firewall is a potential threat to the computer; Be sure to activate security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the problem.

Step 2:

Second, the problem may be caused by an add-on corrupted in Internet Explorer. To confirm the same, run Internet Explorer in safe modules mode, and check if the problem persists.

Open Internet Explorer in mode without modules,

a. click the Start button, click all programs.
b. click on accessories.
c. click System Tools.

Hi, I have a single page site that has been created (free Council) with the www.downtoearthlandscaping.caHTML5, CSS and JavaScript. It is Linux hosting with cPanel.
So you understand what my ultimate goal is... here it is in a nut shell. When you arrive at the url above, there is no pages open as there is a cone of background gallery showing pictures. What I'm trying to do is when you click on this url is, you arrive at this place http://www.downtoearthlandscaping.ca/#! / page_Home.
The first thing I tried was the godaddy cPannel redirect tool;

I have three domains, trojans.co.uk, trojansdesign.com and trojansdesign.co.uk.

I decided that I would just use the last of them and have downloaded a .htaccess file with following elements.

Redirect 301 / http://www.trojansdesign.co.UK/

Of 404 error.html

However it does not seem be redirected correctly although the website's address is not fair.

Also do not know if my catalyst for business areas are properly defined which are currently:

Redirection of files that previously were routed on Vista Home Premium

I'll explain that a little more in detail. Before a BSOD that required me to use the image of a Builder to retrieve, I had a few user folders redirected to C: files on the D: drive on drive D: files were left intact i.e. they were not affected by the image recovery. Only C: drive has been restored to the original image.

I need to implement a method that will be the Windows files on the D: drive when normal access Windows for new user on C: files occurs.

I tried a redirect that seems to move files that I don't want to do. Because the files on the D: drive came out of the original redirection, if I use the option "Restore Default" on these files, and then to have the original values for drive c: means that they copied just return, once again something I want mainly because it reduces the space on the C: partition.

Can I create a kind of link to point (and not move) on the D: drive?

301 redirects - how long to keep old site hosting go?

Hello. We have a company that is about to rebrand itself, so it gets a new website and a new as well domain name, both are sites of Business Catalyst. I did some reading on this and think that I know everything that I have to make about 301 redirects, etc. in order to not lose search ranking. One thing I'm unclear on if, after placing the 301 redirects to direct traffic to the new content to the site, how long the old place accommodation had to be kept going? I read 3 months to a year to keep the 301 redirects in place to ensure indexing.

I plan to redirect 301 pages from the old site to the new site and then after 3 months (assuming that any good) drop the former host of site (only for reasons of cost at this point) and add the domain name to the new site and will forward it to the new domain name. Can anyone confirm that this is a healthy approach to please, or let me know of any problems they see in my simple plan.

3 months should be plenty. Make sure you submit the "Change of address" form within the webmaster tools. I think that Katherine Anderson recently made a Sandpile BC on it.
