  When I go the Dynadock, I connect the DVI monitor to the Dynadock with the always off mirror adapter and see if Aero still works.

  As to why it happened all of a sudden...

  The laptop should be certainly be able to use the AERO.
  It supports a 256 MB card and 2 GB memory graphics.

  So it seems you only need to activate the Aero on your Vista.
  But which version of Vista is installed on the laptop.
  As I know the basic home edition version does not include the Aero. The Aero is available on the Home Premium edition or newer

  It is clear with the message that it's a mirror driver that is causing the problem

  mirror is normally installed by remote desktop programs and a few other types

  example: readers such as JAWS, Window-Eyes and FreedomBox; the monitoring software LanSchool; and remote desktop like LogMeIn, UltraVNC, TightVNC and Radmin software.

  The display driver that you said something about RDPP string and mirage pilot etc.

  Check if you have in programs and features and uninstall, if not, uninstall the driver from Device Manager display (checkbox to delete files when uninstalling it), then download the original driver from the dell website and install it (I prefer the first pilot who was published and not the last)

• Aero stopped working on HP Envy 14-1000

  Aero worked fine until a couple of days and now it has stopped working.  I don't think I did anything that could have messed up.

  I use Windows 7 64-bit on an HP Envy 14-1000.

  I ran the resolution of problems in the customization of Windows menu, and it came with nothing.  I ran FixIt's online tool that Microsoft provides and he told me that my 'graphics card does not support the required display settings."  It's an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650.  Of course he can't stand because he has worked since I the machine several years ago.

  I've updated the video drivers both using the HP Support Assistant and manually and am currently using the reference AMD 9.2 drivers.

  I ran the last DirectX User runtimes to ensure that my directx is not defective and it is fine.

  Finally, the steam (gaming service) notes my Version of the DirectX driver as 8.5.6.31854.  Don't know if it's relevant, but it seems that maybe why Windows is not a DirectX 9 compatible card.

  Any help is appreciated.

  So, apparently, it's the basic of DisplayLink software.  I tried to start a game of twice as much steam and both times it crashed (so I thought it would look if same Aero does not display properly).  After the second accident, however, Windows popped up an error message saying that the basic of DisplayLink software crashed and that there is an update that fixes this particular bug.  I went to the website, installed the update and it fixed Aero.

  Start button > Search box, type services.msc >enter key > scroll to find
  Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager. Under status, it must bestarted. Under Type of Stratup, it should be Automatic.
  Scroll to THEMES. Under status, it must be started. Under Startup Type, it should beAutomatic.
  If they are not, RIGHT click on them, make changes on the next window.
  Click OK when finished.

• Vista Aero stopped working. I ran the resolution of the problems, it says dwm.exe does not work...

  However, it is (sometimes) appears in the list when I open the Task Manager. I tried to do a "clean boot" to see whether the problem lies with another program, nothing happens. What I've read, it may be a registry problem.

  I have windows 7 ultimate with an overclocked GeForce GTX 550 Ti and the last driver beta. My problem is windows aero does not work. I tried to run the troubleshooter, but it says that the current video card does not support windows aero. The strange thing is that, when I start my PC it works for a few seconds and then goes back to windows 7 Basic. I have all the latest drivers and directx 11, I checked to see if it is enabled in the registry and it is, and I tried to restart with the clock facotry settings.

It is an ad ' Web Cam S *' that I met on a fake Wikipedia who made fun of Youtubers (forget the name of it and never come back to it) which forced me close my Mac because it will turn off and an announcement on YouTube who wanted to use 5 mbs of my data (I stopped my Mac new cause he kept asking when I was denied several times). I can't remember anything for download, but I don't know how to work the virus. This return all happened in August 2015, but since December 2015, my Mac fan started running loudly when he wakes fashion 'sleep' with any of the applications that are running. My Mac also gets is more cool as it allows when it is in "standby". I don't know if it's advertising or there is something wrong with my Mac internally (son, dusty in bulk).
