first try to connect and then back to your desktop cc application. If you are unable to install your programs after doing this, stilll follow solution 2 here, CC Office lists the applications as "up to date" when it is not installed.

After effects error: layer does not have a source.
Hi all
I add a text layer and then add my custom fill effect. Then I call AdvItemSuite1()-> PF_ForceRerender (in_data, & (params [0]-> u.ld)) of the CEAP for all layers. But only for the text layer, AE will appear a dialog box displays the following error message:

Why is this happening? What other call can I use to render all the layers?

text layers is really a source (as opposed to solids which do).
any source operation you will do an a text layer will give an error.
It goes the same for shape layers.

Problems trying to update after effects 2014 as mentioned in the title.

Can I use the test After Effect create Cloulds?
Hey everyone, can you help me with this thing. I installed after effect CS6 on my lap and chose the trial. Then, I bought Illustrator CC and installed create clouds too. My After Effect always in 27 days of trial. Does it cost any money if I always leave after effect on my lap after the expiry of his trial? The last time I used After Effect (when I installed Creative clouds), he did not notice "to continue in the trial. This is the first time I use creative cloud, so I don't know how it works. Please help me with this.
It cost you money if leave you it installed. But once the trial is expired you will not be able to use the product.

after effects closes on startup, not removable video card
Hi all
Lately, I get this message:
The Nvidia Geforce GT 650 M device is not removable and cannot be ejected or unplugged.
First of all, I got this message from random and every time I got it I had to force my laptop. At present it shows only upward when you start after effects cc 2015.3.
The after effects and my drivers are up to date. I run windows 7 64 bit on my laptop.
Someone know a solution for this or do you think that it's hardware related?

I asked the support of asus and they send me updates good driver for intel and nvidia.
Looks like the update via config nvidia didn't so I did a clean install for the Asus support update send me.

You can do several things:
1. add more memory ram
2. low resolution preview
3. play and work on your video into parts4. use disk cache - how the RAM and disk caches are used to save time in Adobe After Effects.

Looks like your mask has too many paths of access or summits. Try to turn on caps lock shift before you open the ASP (project file) or before you launch AE. If this does not clear your Cache and preferences. If this does not resolve the problem, we need workflow details that let you to this error.

I was interested to get a subscription to the cloud, but I just found out that my GPU is not compatible with After Effects. It's a deal breaker. Can't believe that there isn't a patch or something for this graphics card excellent!
The only feature in After Effects for which this card cannot be used is acceleration GPU of the obsolete plotted in 3D rendering engine Department. All the other features of After Effects GPU must serve very well as this card. Keep in mind that After Effects uses the GPU for very little, so the GPU doesn't matter much for After Effects, anyway.

after effects 5.5 will not install not
Master collection CS5.5 installs fine except for after effects, which did not finish install. I tried to wind 8.1 compatibility settings but does not help not. Any ideas? I know after effects 6 will be installed. It seems that my system is not the minimum requirements for meeting with a memory of 8 gb NVIDIA gt 760. How to make it work?
Yes Jeff, the system exceeds the requirements. It will install cs6 trial, but not the cs5.5 licensed version (which I own).
