after export to the web color problems

Hiya

I'm faced with a problem of color on a website, I recently designed.

The original drawing was done in Photoshop CS3 and includes a purple Strip think at the top of the page (http://www.deliciouscafe.co.uk/index.html). After slicing up design and then "save for web and devices", changes to purple-, it appears less dense and really should be a much deeper shade.

Not sure if I use the wrong export method. I tried the format jpeg, png and gif, but nothing seems to make a difference, but I have not tried to change the other settings in the save for web and devices dialog box so I was wondering if something could help?

Any help would be appreciated!

Convert (don't assign it) the color of your images to sRGB profile.

When registering for the web, don't forget to include the for sRGB ICC color profile.

Do not mix the GIF and JPG when you try to maintain the uniform color. Use the same format.  (background.gif has a purple which may not correspond to quote.jpg)

Web color is a mess, especially on Mac. The steps above are the best you can do.

  • What is the best export for the web?

    What is considered the best export from Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 for the web these days? I know that PNG has the color a bit better than JPEG files. How about SVG?

    What is your recommendation?

    Thank you

    For modern websites of today, vectors are now better saved in SVG. As long as you use the last CC 2015, use file > export to create the SVG (which is newer than the file > save under). It will yield a smaller SVG files.

    Better, photos are saved in JPEG format.

    PNG are not "keep color" better. The JPEG and PNG24 support millions of colors, but a JPEG will be able to compress photographic details better, if you end up with a file of faster loading.

    For HTML Email SVG is not appropriate, so I use PNG or GIF instead (whichever is smaller) to the line drawings in general I want to save it as SVG.

  • Office loses datebook categories after export & import the file dba.

    Hello

    After reading a lot of posts, I can't find any that have reported a similar problem, so here it is.  Office loses datebook categories after export & import of a file of dba.  I use Palm Desktop by Access v6.2.2 and a Verizon Centro.  This problem has nothing to do with the synchronization.  I just exported my calendar of events in a DBA file, import the same file and all event categories have been set to "unclassified".  Is this a known bug, or perhaps, the s/n file includes no category information?

    I'm really curious to know if the dba file (archive date?) contains information catergory.

    Thanks in advance,

    CentroIllinois.

    Hello!

    A bit of a limitation of Palm Desktop.  Before you import the file s/n, manually add the category nanes via change categories and then try again to import the file dba.  Due the category names must be exactly the same spelling and spacing as before when they were exported.

  • Export for the Web

    I use Pr CS4 and I'm having a problem exporting a video via the SOUL to download on vimeo. It's the first time I tried with CS4 and it's not well. After export, I opened my video to QuickTime to check, and the video was bit choppy and does not match the audio at all. I tried three different times, and the result is the same. I thought that it would be a piece of cake using the YouTube HD preset and it controls against the suggestions of settings of export on vimeo. But I was wrong. I am at a loss. I hope someone can help. All is well in my PR. sequence and export of settings are the following:

    Trailer 2 Specs 2.JPGTrailer 2 Specs.JPG

    I opened my video to QuickTime to check

    For starters, don't.  In fact, simply get rid of Quicktime altogether.

    Try using VLC, GOM, or the KM player instead.

  • Web module is required for the export to the web server?

    Web site module can do anything more that export dialog box, for just send pictures on a web server. If we do not want a gallery, export provides all the same options to exit a 72 dpi, sRGB jpeg dialog box?

    Thank you, Tim

    If you're just uploading images to a Web server you should not use the web module at all. Just use the export module. It offers many more options whereas scaling, sharpening, color space, etc...

  • WRT 54 G configuration based on the web page problem

    Hello.

    When I enter the Setup page for my WRT 54 G web-based, it looks like this.

    I want to update my firmware, but it's a little difficult with the configuration page that looks like this.

    Any ideas anyone?

    Try to delete the browser cookies, files and see if it works.

    You want to update the firmware of the router.

    Download the latest firmware from the site Web of Linksys and save it to your computer.

    Press and hold the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. Release the reset button and wait 30 seconds. Cycle of the router and see if you can open the page complete the installation of the router.

    If you are still not able to open the page in correct configuration of the router then you can try to upgrade the firmware using the tftp.exe file.

    Go to the Web from Linksys website. Select the model of router BEFW11S4 and version 3.2. You will find the file of the installation wizard to download. Download the Wizard installation file and save it to your computer.

    Now you have 2 files on your computer. one is the last file of the firmware on your router and the other is the Setup Wizard.

    Run the file from the Setup Computer Wizard. In the server box, type the IP address of your router 192.168.1.1. Type the password of your router. You will find the Browse button. Click the Browse button and locate the firmware file and click upgrade.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones emails appear only after I open the web browser...

    Hi all

    I have a problem with the reception of emails on my 8330.  It is a relatively new problem for me.  Everything worked fine until a few days ago.  My camera will display only new emails when I open the web browser.  I have not changed anything in the settings.  I can send emails fine.  I have read similar problems, but have not been able to find a solution to this problem.

    If anyone can help me please let me know.

    Thank you!!!

    Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact probably your carrier for formal support.

  • CMYK mode to PRINT and use the Web colors?

    I'm sorry for my for my bad English but I'm French.

    Is this "good" (interesting?)  using colors of paintings in a CMYK with Illustrator document?

    I like the color of my photos and I want to use them for PRINT and the WEB too.

    For now, my photos are in black and white (the contours) in CMYK (for printing mode) mode. What do you think I have

    Duty?

    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello-Hello

    BB,

    In CMYK color Mode, all colors will be within the CMYK range, regardless of how you create them.

    Normally, when the work is used for both print and web / whether, it is created in the CMYK and then converted for the web / whatever the use.

    You can get a first glimpse of the question of the range here:

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/gamut

    http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_space

    In general, the CMYK colors are limited/more duller; You can add a spot color or use special printing, such as 6/8 color.

  • Picture POST on the web server problem

    Hi gurus

    I am trying to display a picture jpg on a web server. I tested my PHP script on the server and I am able to upload an image using a form. Now I am making an application Blackberry POST the image on the server by using the same script however when I test the code in Java, PHP tells me that nothing has been published, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I am doing something like this:

    String mBoundary = "SUPSUPSUPSUP";

    /* Preparar objeto a enviar */

    InputStream mImagen = this.getClass().getResourceAsStream("sample.jpg");
    byte[] mBytesPostear = IOUtilities.streamToBytes(mImagen);

    mConexion.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.POST);

    mConexion.setRequestProperty(HttpProtocolConstants.HEADER_CONTENT_LENGTH, String.valueOf(mBytesPostear.length));

    I just tried to clone the header sent by Chrome when I use the form, I think that they have the same information.

    My PHP script first checks to see if something has been posted, if nothing has been validated, it returns a message so I'm able to "consume" the script on the web server and I see that the BlackBerry is the download of the data, but the answer is that nothing has been reported.

    I think I sent you the info about the server in the wrong format.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Thank you all, it works fine now, I send you the length of the full header now, it works now, I'm sharking my code. Just create and instance of this object, passing the URL of web script and the bytes of the image to the constructor, then call the getRespuesta() method

            mURL = URLServicio;

  • How to make a dvd with an audio track after export using the media encoder? I have 2 separate files?

    Hello

    I just burn a video that I have completed. It's a m2v file and so I have a point of view audio AC3 and a video track. I thought I was ready to go, but I can't understand how to burn audio and video on the same disk. It's very embarrassing because the settings I should use for export to keep video quality will give me 2 separate files.

    So, what programs you use or recommend I would like to add an audio track? I don't want people to have the ability to switch between tracks, I just want a normal life trace that you have when you watch a movie, I mean he's playing just by default.

    Thanks to the adv.

    Mark

    Again is Adobe for DVD software, although there are others.  In General, the export of the elementary streams for use in an authoring application is the preferred method, then you are doing things.

    Specific help again, I would do you for the help file again.  If you decide to use another application, its own set of instructions will guide you.

  • video doesn't play no not after uploading to the Web site

    I've created an animation flash w / transparency.
    I created my web page.
    When I open my web page locally, it loads well, and the film plays a man walking through the web page.

    However, when I upload the files (.swf file and web page) on a web server (transferred both an IIS server and an Apache Server), I can't get the Flash movie to play. The web page loads fine, and when I right click on the area where my Flash movie should be, it gives me the menu Animation Flash too. So, I know that the film is there, but nothing is done. It is like a placeholder empty for the film.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you
    VIC

    You need the flv file to be in the same folder as well.

  • Problems of stuttering and sync after export to the H.264 format

    I edited some AVCHD videos in Premiere Pro 5.5.0, made of a sequence of 5 minutes and exported to H.264 to Vimeo format, using the guidelines of Vimeo:

    NSTC

    1280 X 720

    29.97 FPS (like the shot)

    Progressive

    Square pixels

    CBR 5 Mbps (tried pass VBR 1 and 2 pass, without any difference)

    AAC audio

    44.1 khz (from original 48 kHz)

    320 b/s

    Bitrate priority (tried these frequencies, first of all, no help)

    Export plays well in VLC player 2.0.1 into Quicktime and after download from Vimeo, audio plays, but the video stutters and is often out of sync.

    If it makes a difference, MacBook Pro, 9 GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.7.3

    Any ideas?

    I actually thought it might be your system.  That's why I asked for the Vimeo link.  It only would be not the first time he stammered for the poster, but not for people who have test.

    Restarting seems to confirm this.
