After not updated 10 Windows in Windows 7...

Hello.

One of my cameras, a laptop computer, was (and still is) running Windows 7 home 32-bit SP1.

The upgrade has failed, it is assumed the reason was, that I cloned the original for one SSD hard disk to improve performance.

I would have had to reinstall everything from scratch.

Well, this laptop that I bought in 2008 and it seems to work smoothly, and when Win 7 will be out of service in 2020 (right?) which will be the date to stop using this device connected to the internet.

So far so good.

Now, there's a really annoying thing:

Each patch day, the machine being online for a while, I see the Windows Update notification, I click on it to enter in the update dialog.

Usually the machine started looking for updates to download and install.

Not until now:

I see only a notification that the upgrade to Windows 10 had not previously.

When I want to continue the process of update, I have to click "Find updates", although this research has already made. It is your time.

Who can get rid of this obsolete notification on "victory 10-set at level - failure", please?

I had already tried the tool "erase all system restore points", but to no avail.

Is there a chance to return to the normal update process, please?

You could try two Option for reset Windows Update-.

If it does not install GWX Panel to remove all traces of Windows 10. Don't automatically turn off updates however.

  • HP EliteBook 850 G3: HP EliteBook 850 G3: its problems after the update of Windows 10 anniversary

    Hi people!

After the update of Windows 10 birthday I have problems with my sound card. There are two sound cards listed by Device Manager. The first is "Conexant Audio of ISST" and the second "Intel High Definition Audio". I know not weather it was the case before the update. I just recognized it after the update when I had sound problems.

In any case, on a sound start works on the other boot it does not work. It seems that Windows chooses the sound card, every time when it starts. Sometimes it takes the bad sound card.

I tried to uninstall maps its and their resettlement. On the HP site, there is a driver for the Conexant map bot no driver for Intel High Definition Audio card. 10 Windows itself is not find a driver for this sound card. I also tried to reinstall the other drivers, chipset drivers for example. But unfortunately it did not help. I also tried to disable the Intel High Definition Audio, but also without success.

What else can I try? I don't want to reinstall Windows. There must be a solution without this. Any ideas? Here's a screenshot of my device manager, perhaps it helps:

If you need more information, please let me know.

    Best regards

    Ty

I just tried this driver and I still have sound after 6 resets.

  • Satellite P200-P100 - black screen after an update of Windows 7

    Hello

    I have a Toshiba Satellite P200-P100 running Windows 7.
A few weeks ago after an update of Windows 7, my monitor would not show any image, that she lit up, but still no picture. Not even the BIOS it will appoint.

I fixed it by using the system restore using a different monitor. The same thing happened again today, I must have ran the same update, but this time a system restore does not, any more than to reinstall Win 7.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you
    Spre3

    Hello

You mean you don't see anything about internal or external monitor, even switching of the output of the screen by pressing the FN + F5 buttons?
Hmm. in my opinion has nothing to do with the Windows 7 update

I mean the update/install of Win 7 OS should not affect the BIOS and you should be able to access the BIOS, even if no operating system is installed on the HARD drive!
So I guess the question could be linked to the question of the motherboard or some parts placed on the motherboard

    Have you tried that?
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter
Then wait a little (1 hour) and then reconnect the two parts.
Then try to turn on the device

If this will not help the RAM modules must be verified.

  • Could not update to Windows 8.1 0xc1900101 - 0 x 20017

I am on Windows 8 on an Acer TravelMate 5730 and decided to take the plunge to upgrade to 8.1 Windows. Reboot, I received the following message: "could not update to Windows 8.1 0xC1900101 - 0 x 20017. What is the 0xC1900101 - 0 x 20017 error?

I lost many times that I tried to install Windows 8.1, always for the same message. I searched the forums and my laptop rebuilt despair, assured all the drivers are up-to-date by downloading the software update driver and all the updates of Windows 8 have been installed. Has anyone in the community of the ideas on the problem or issue?

    Concerning

    Malcolm

    Hi Malcolm,

This error message is displayed when there is a driver problem. Since you've already done so that you have all the updated drivers, I would suggest trying the following steps and check:

I first suggest you remove all the devices connected to the computer with the exception of essential devices such as the keyboard and the mouse, and then start the computer and check.

    Method 1:

If you have installed a third party such as antivirus/firewall program security software, they can interfere with the download. I suggest to temporarily disable and check if you are able to download the update.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

If the problem persists, I you suggest to start the computer in a clean boot state and then try to download and install. Start your computer in a clean boot state, you can reduce conflicts between software and help identify the root cause of the problem. You can read this article for more information:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: after the resolution of the problem, reset the computer to start as usual. Refer to the step How to configure the computer to start as usual after a boot minimum troubleshooting under more information.

Note: We sent you a private Message, asking for log files continue to troubleshoot the issue. Please respond to the private Message with the requested information.

  • Adobe Premiere is freezing and reading lag after 2015 update on Windows 7

Adobe Premiere is freezing and reading lag after 2015 update on Windows 7.

Even if I add a simple title or shorten a clip in a few images, these tiny adjustments can make the software freeze and two windows appear in the preview window.

He will not be reading sometimes 30 seconds every time I do this minor changes.

Photoshop is also very slow when loading.

For the record, I don't use ANY 3rd party plugins.

Overall the new update seems not at all work very well.

How can I reinstall the previous version all CC 2014 please?

I use the software a few hours a day and I can say that previous versions of the products worked well and I never had any real problems in the previous 18 months - the new version is somewhat a mess.

Yes, with a subscription of the cc, you can install and use the cs6, cc, 2014 and 2015 CC cc.

to install cc 2014 open your desktop cc app > apps > find additional applications > previous version > first pro install > cc 2014.

CS5 is not supported by the CC.  You need to manager updates separated from CC.

  • After the updates of Windows 7 computer does not start

I received a notice from the system Windows 7 updates have been downloaded and available for installation. I selected the installation of updates. After the updates when installed I was in charge to restart. The computer will not start at the top. It tries but stops at a blue screen with a cursor. I tried to boot into "safe mode" and get the same. I booted from my original Windows 7 disc and I went back to my restore point before the update. It appeared to restore successfully but I still get a blue screen.
What is my next course of action? I certainly DON'T want to format the drive and start again.

The only thing I can say is that I know that you will not like to hear.

It is to re - install Windows 7 (do not enter the product key and uncheck the 'Activation').

Then immediately turn off automatic updates.

Then, go to the Microsoft Update site and only install one update at a time (make a note of the number KBXXXXXX), restart and check that you do not get the blue screen. Then download the next update and repeat the process until you either find to have installed the offending update or updates without any problem. If all goes well and the problem did not repeat, then you can activate Windows.

If you find yourself always with the blue screen after a given Update call Microsoft and tell them. If they won't listen, then create a new post on this forum, making reference to the question of the blue screen AND the number associated with the update. Also post the number here if I can do some research on the problem.
