The sad news for you is that you have made a good choice with BitLocker: unless you have the certificate, your data remains inaccessible. There is no backdoor.   Please open the monitory of activity by going to Applications > utilities on your Mac. You can search any processes with the name of SAFARI COULD HISTO and close it. More detailed instructions can be found here: error with Adobe products: close the following applications.

  Also, make sure you reinstall your CS5.5 disc or direct download. If you use Time Machine or similar backup to restore your programs on your computer reformatted, you may encounter issues. Adobe programs do not correctly migrate due to hidden files permissions.

  2. what type of connection you are using? Is it wireless or wired?

  3. are you able to access the internet?

  In order to diagnose the problem, please provide us with the ipconfig log file.

  To do this, type the command in the command prompt:

  Make sure that the system restore does not monitor the external drive.  SR does need to control the system drive and to the system drive, SR has only about 1 GB of space max.  Make a right click my computer and select properties then the System Restore tab to configure SR.

  Make sure that the Indexing Service is turned off (at least for the external drive).  To disable disk indexing completely, which will also speed up your computer a bit, see http://lifehacker.com/031440/turn-off-indexing-and-speed-up-windows-xp.  For the external drive, right-click on the drive icon in my computer, select properties and uncheck the indexing disc
