After reinstallation, MS Money has an older version

I've updated my pc to 64-bit and have to re - install all the programs. I've been using MS Money version 14.0.120.1105 but when I re - install the program will not open my files and changed the version 14.0.120.730. I tried to do a right-click on the icon and running as administrator, but that has not helped and I also tried to run Money more sunset which is also not helping. Can anyone help please

Hi ErnieFenwick,

a. find the sample.mny file in your installation folder: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Money.

b. copy the sample.mny file in your Documents folder in Windows.

c. right-click on the icon to start Money and select run as administrator.

d. click the file-> open and navigate to the file sample.mny.

e. money will provide an update. Close Money.

f. restart the computer and check the version of Money.

Make sure your .mny and .mbf files are in your Documents folder

Then you should be able to file-> open or restore your existing files.

If you are always faced with the question, then you must validate your request in the forum of the money for assistance.
