  I bought Fable: The Lost Chapters recently.  I tried to install it and got this message:

  "You have not entered a valid product key.

  Please check the number located on your certificate of Authenticity on the back of your CD package. »

  So I did the silly check and found that I have indeed enter it correctly (do not enter any 8 instead of B etc.)

  I checked the solution from Microsoft Support on this subject and deleted my temporary internet files and restart the computer by using a clean upward start as suggested, nothing works... I still get the same message.

  I tried to call the support hotline 1-800-537-8324 and told me that I couldn't be helped by phone... so here I am.

  Online, I read that there was a problem with product keys and get a new one from Microsoft.  How can I do this?

I know there are a lot of guys here are really smart and pro on computer problems, so maybe you can help me with this problem. It's a laptop ASUS K75DE of model with windows 8 preinstalled inside. I just want to know if there is a way for me to get the original product key from windows, which is preinstalled in the laptop.

  With Windows 8, Microsoft changed stickers that have the product key that the user must type in during the installation of the operating system of new embedded BIOS product key. The idea is that by eliminating the tile, you eliminate one of the easiest ways for nefarious users get a legitimate product key.   You use a Dell OEM SLP key on a hp computer. It would never work.

  If your hp COST is for professional, you can change the product key to the one on your COA. If this isn't the case, you can buy professional or return to windows, your computer comes with that.

Don't know why it does, but when I got to do start back when I also got to put in it, it says that Windows needs to be reactivated because of hardware changes, so in PowerShell, I typed in [slmgr-ato]. It worked, and after a reboot the lower right corner of the Office had more "Is not a genuine copy of Windows" on this subject, so I guess it worked. Can someone help me?

  Do not confuse letter B with the number 8, letter O with a Q

  Check the side of your PC case or at the bottom of the laptop for the
  Key OEM code. If there is a sticker with the code, it will probably not
  corresponds to what is displayed by the utilities mentioned above as OEM such as
  Dell use an internal key code when they build your PC.

  The key on the sticker code should be used with your Windows CD
  (who came if everything goes well with your PC) If you need to reinstall Windows.

  I bought Halo 2 for Vista last week. I installed, updated with the latest patch and connected with my Live account. When the program tries to download my Live profile it gave me the error "invalid product key". I contacted the seller on Amazon and told him my problem. He contacted Microsoft and verify that the product key was valid and he told me to reinstall and make sure that all software is up-to-date. I grabbed a spare hard drive and install a new copy of Vista and done all updates to Windows. Then I installed the latest drivers for video card, I installed Halo 2. I downloaded and installed the latest patch for Halo 2 and the last program of Windows Live. After all this (about 3 hours), I still get the same message. Anyone at Microsoft have a solution to this? I get the message after logging in to my live account inside Halo 2. I googled the question and it seems to be quite common, however, I have yet to see a fix. Help, please.
