After the upgrade to 754035, cannot access the server

In Edit-preferences-shared VMs, workstation server settings is enabled, but I get the error (even when of WS running as root):

Unable to connect to the server of workstation. Please ensure that the server is running and that you are allowed to connect.

-It is true that I have not test this before the upgrade.

WS Server uses the default port 443, nothing else should be listening on it.

# netstat - nalp | grep 443

The host is running a new installation of Linux Mint 13, core 3.2.0 - 23-generic #36 - Ubuntu SMP Linux 64-bit

  • After the Server 5.1.5 upgrade network user cannot connect by most workstations

    Hi all

    Intro

I upgraded one of my client of 10.6.8 Xserve server at El Capitan / app 5.1.5 server.

The server is configured with the network homefolders and mobile homefolders. We also use PCS. The 10.6.8 configuration has worked perfectly and still doesn't work. But now it is time to move on.

The upgrade process from was relatively smooth. I had to configure the interface network again, then check DNS (front / back) and I also had to re - install the SharePoint, including network sharepoint (via AFP) houses.

    Problem:

Then, I started to test the connection as users of the network on client computers. I found that it was not possible to connect from most client computers.

After entering the login credentials was refused immediately. As is the case when entering the incorrect credentials.

On client computers, nothing has changed.

Client computers running Yosemite 10.10.5 and some are running 10.6.8

As soon as I reboot the Xserve 10.6.8 original that's all is back to normal.

    What does not work:

Those who connect has worked well:

    • Mobile sync (on Unassigned Computers)

    • Log is as user network at home (on Unassigned Computers)

    • PCS worked fine. New settings have been made correctly. On all computers.

    • Automatically install some actions has worked well on all computers. It is a local administrator on the client computers. When connecting to the account, the network shares are mounted using PCS.

    • Resolution of the DNS of all client computers

    • DHCP works OK

    • Client computers running 10.6.8 seem to be not affected.

At one point one of the workstations involved that did not work, started working.

What I tried and not solve the problem:

    • Renew DHCP client

    • Removed liaison OD and put in place again

    • Trashed records managed preferences (these have been re-created correctly)

    Ideas on possible causes:

The most logical causes of this behavior might be:

    (1) client computer cannot find the master OD.

    (2) the powers of negotiation fails.

Since the Division of the OPPOSITION binding work, works PCS etc., the client computer is the master of the OD.

The latter seems the cause more lickely. Ticketviewer does not show tickets. Ticketviewer by using the credentials of a user of OD manually requesting a TGT works very well.

    All advice is appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Nico

    Hi Nico,

Maybe the problem is related to the AFP. Have you tried disabling AFP in Systempreferences and delete all shares. After this restart AFP and try to add shares again. Have a look at the access privileges. It is urgent to remove and re-add the userfolders on the server share.

    Good luck

    Peter.

  • CF Apps 'broken' after the server upgrade.

My office has a configuration where we have a server and a live server development.  Everything gets coded and tested on the development server before be copied in the direct.

Last week, the server was replaced by a new machine.  After the upgrade, we get errors on several pages of CF.  The errors are as follows:

Could not find the ColdFusion Component or
    Interface

It's the component is there, and the app works fine on the development server.

I tried to juggle the path within the tag, cfinvoke, with limited success.  If all the files are in a directory, removing the path seems totally to fix.  But if the application.cfm is in /directory the cfc is in/directory/components, then juggle the path is not helped at all.

I think it is maybe a CF Administrator thing, where some mappings on the old server were not duplicated on the new.

It is very difficult to solve because it works very well in my development environment.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    I think you're probably right.

There was probably a mapping defined in the Aministrator CF under "Mappings" to find out where the live components.

  • After the Server 5.1 update, no service will start or even report status

I got this server remotely, via the command line.  On-site, the customer applies all recent Apple server improvements and the OS in an attempt to solve some problems of slowness that turned out be connected to the router.  There is no upgrade remains to apply.  After these improvements, I can't even the status of all services.  Here is an example:

    Calendar: errorCode = 1

If I try to start, stop or fullstatus for the calendar or any other service, I get the exact same message.  I rebooted the machine, which doesn't change anything.  The server logs are completely empty after the date of the upgrade from.  If I ask him just to list the services via the 'serveradmin' list, it returns a list, so serveradmin itself is not fully watered.

Where should I go from here?

I had to go on site to this server.  It turns out that the part of the upgrade process should be to the GUI - it can not be opened from the CLI.  I therefore started by server, let him finish the upgrade, because this worked and went home.  Is not ideal, but at least it works now.

  • Restart ColdFusion 11 Instances starts does not correctly after the server

Hello, we have after the situation and can't seem to find a fix or a workaround for it. Could you help her?

On all 4 of our Windows Server 2012 R2 servers running on machines with 8 vcpu hearts vitrual each, we have 10 instances running ColdFusion 11 update 6, instances are the same on all servers of 4, 2 servers are used for testing/qa and 2 for production. On all these servers, after restart servers sometimes starts correctly and need to be restarted manually to start working. It seems that, on average, at any time, instances of 2 to 4 starts not and those who are not the same bodies every time. We look at the log files and we believe that we found that the issue is, but not sure how to get around it, or fix it. When proceedings begin, the following error appears in the log files of the bodies that will not start correctly (see the bottom of this post for the actual journal entries):

    13 October 2015 07:52:25 warn org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog

    {WARNING: ServerConnector@69f41e78{HTTP/1.1 FAILED} {0.0.0.0:5500}: exception java.net.BindException: address already in use: bind

As you can see in the logs below, actually startinstances, but when someone goes to CF Admin or try to do something with ColdFusion on these instances, all they see is error 500. Manually restart the instances starts correctly. I think the problem is that the ServerConnector of org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog will be started with the port 5500 instead of a random port (in the log files are you see an AVAILABLE argument is used by ColdFusion, when he calls the constructor). I suspect what happens is that when rebooting the server, all services trying to start at the same time and all try the port 5500 first to see if it is available for use. Since there are 8 processor cores, I think some cases on different cores to processors 'meaning' port 5500 is available and try to use it, but pending different instances on core cpu nested calls for actually the port and then others get an exception and cannot recover it. Those manually, restart gives them a new random number as the port 5500 is already used by a single instance.

The question we have is: can force us ColdFusion instance use different port for this org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog of ServerConnector and if not, is there another workaround solution? We tried the underside of things so far, but not of them semm to help. Our tests included stop all instances and try to change settings on a single instance to see if it will use different port for ServerConnectorm of the org.eclipse.jetty.util.log.JavaUtilLog after starting, but he always tries to claim the first 5500 port:

    • Tried to change the jvm for the below arguments. We tried all those who, because we don't know yet which is correct, various documents we found online did not say specifically, this can be done with ColdFusion servers and we are not very familiar with works of the pier or what work is in ColdFusion server. Any of these help to our question:
      -Djetty.http.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.http.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.server.server.port = 20003
      -Dorg.eclipse.jetty.Server.port = 20003
    • In addition, tried to change the jetty.xml file in the D:\CF11\cfusion\jetty\etc folder (it exists only in the instance main cfusion but other instances), port of the line 139, changed it to 0. There is either no make the difference:
      < name = 'port' > < property name = "jetty.port" default = "0" / > < / Set > "

    Hello

Why we must bounce server after the deployment of our pages and controllers?

Is there another way to do this?

    Kind regards
    Ajay

    Hi Ajay,

Controller of refactoring should not be a problem to enforce coding standards, more if you have joined renamed the controller file
(CO1, CO2,... etc) it is always visible to all developers using 'about this page'. And you'll even talk
the same document MD70 or tech.

To my knowledge, Refactoring is the best way to avoid the rebound of server.

    Hi all

We meet a few serious problems during the performance tests.
Its does not occur with WebLogic 10.3 and does not occur with connections of type oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleConnection.

After the test, the server fills up with the following exceptions...

The DBMS does not give new WebLogic connections when running. Try to set
the initial capacity of the pool to 35 and the login delay to 1, so the pool

  • After the server move, no record showing that Inbox of IMAP folder?

Have IMAP account with a lot of records during the performance of our email

Just past mail server one IP address to another, all the files have been moved/transferred via Plesk on the server using MailEnable. Problem we have now is that thunderbird does not download the IMAP folders from the new server just the Inbox.

Have you tried deleting the configuration of remote server and C:\Users\MAILACC\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\w5q4q5qf.default\ImapMail\MAILACC etc files and still nothing just inbox shows

    Any help would be great

Solved the problem myself its nothing to do with the synchronization of files, you must do the following:

Click the tab account left it then tells summary page to the right and click the "Manage folder subscriptions" button so you can show the files you need from the IMAP server.

God knows why thunderbird them hides all automatically

    Hope this helps someone else

  • remote VPN cannot access mail server of asa

    Hi dear.

I have the router that connect to the asa.

Internet line to connect to the router so all the nat translation is made to the router.

    router outside the ip:x.x.xx

router inside the ip:10.0.0.1 interface that is connect to asa outside interface (asa outside ip address: 10.0.0.2)

my mail server to connect to the DMZ asa.

    DMZ interface ip address:172.16.10.0./24

    mail server IP:172.16.10.10

I'm twice nat for the ip address of the mail server.

    1.i do to asa.

    static (DMZ, Outside) 10.0.0.10 172.16.10.10

in this mail server ip 172.16.10.10 translation translating 10.0.0.10(10.0.0.10 ip est un sous-réseau de la plage de connexion routeur et asa).

    second nat to router.

IP nat inside source static tcp 10.0.0.10 25 25 ext x.x.x.x public ip x.x.x.x

I have no problem with my nat translation to my e-mail server.

I have set up remote client vpn to asa and apply crypto map ASA outside interface which is 10.0.0.2

I do THE static nat router for asa outside ip address.

IP nat inside source static udp 10.0.0.2 x.x.x.x extensible 500 500

IP nat inside source static udp 10.0.0.2 4500 4500 extensible x.x.x.x

I have no problem with the vpn connection. I can connect vpn connection. but I can't access mail server. 172.16.10.10

What can I do in this situation?

I should be writing sheep-access list?

If Yes, how can I write this access list?

Yes, you must configure access on your ASA sheep-list as follows:

    IP 172.16.10.0 allow Access-list sheep-dmz 255.255.255.0

    NAT 0 access-list sheep-dmz (dmz)

  • Cannot access hotmail server this morning

I can't access my hotmail account using Thunderbird but I can't use Hotmail/Outlook account directly.

#1 error message: "failed to connect to the server imap - mail.outlook.com .» Another popup window asks for a new password. When I type 'Retry', I get the same error message.

Error message #2: "[email protected] server has disconnected. The server may be down or there may be a network problem. »

I have been using Outlook for awhile until that this new update, which I hate. I moved to Thunderbird. I accepted all the automatic setting parameters when adding to my Thunderbird mail accounts and everything seemed to work OK except the #2 error message popped up sometimes when I tried batch delete e-mails from the Inbox. This error seems to solve quickly and emails have been deleted.

Now, this morning when I try to access my hotmail emails with Thunderbird, nada :( The last email from hotmail, which is in my Thunderbird inbox is dated 11/18/2016 @ 06:02

Yahoo e-mail accounts appear to work correctly, like my att.net email account.

Hello, if this can help, I have posted workaround on the thread of Microsoft that you point and also here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1147439

    Hope this will help you.

Note: I found workaround while waiting for someone to answer me in the chat support. I've been #50... !! So had plenty of time to continue its investigation. Since I had another account on outlook.com that worked, and everything by exploring the menus to find something that could unblock me, I saw the concept of alias, which gave me the idea of trying to create an alias in outlook.com for the account... :-)

  • Cannot access ESXi server via network

    Hello world!

We have a HP C7000 Encolosure with 4 BL460c Gen 8 blades in front size of it. Back size of the C7000, we have 2 SAN Switch, 2 switch HP BLc GbE2c layer 2/3 and 2 Onboard Administrator Module.

Everything is working fine with IP addresses like this:

    OA active:

    IP address: 172.16.0.253

    STANBY OA:

    IP address: 172.16.0.254

    Server Blade BL460c Bay 1:

The IP address of the ILO: 172.16.0.10

    Server Blade BL460c Bay 2:

    The ILO IP address: 172.16.0.11

    BL460c blade Bay 9:

    The ILO IP address: 172.16.0.19

    Server Blade BL460c Bay 10:

    The ILO IP address: 172.16.0.20

We can ping pc that connected to the port of ILO on Onboard Administrator (OA) IP addresses above. (I can it call PC MANAGE?)

Continue, we access OA via Web https://172.16.0.253 use of , then Console integrated to control 4 Server blades. We have mounted image ESXi 5.1 U1 and successfully installed on 4 servers blade.

We manually config IP address on each ESXi Server (like this):

BL460c Server Blade on Bay 1 as server ESXi 1:

    IP address: 10.0.0.11

BL460c Server Blade on Bay 2 as server ESXi 2:

    IP address: 10.0.0.12

BL460c Server Blade on Bay 9 as a server ESXi 9:

    IP address: 10.0.0.19

BL460c Server Blade on 10 Bay as a server ESXi 10:

    IP address: 10.0.0.20

Now we can ping server to another server ESXi ESXi 1. I mean 4 Blade Server can ping together.

    BUT:

-We can not ping servers to blade PC of manage (that PC connect to the port of ILO on OSTEOARTHRITIS. In this scene, MANAGE PCs has the IP 172.16.0.100/16)

-We unplug the network cable from the port of iLO, then connect it to the port number 24 on HP BLc GbE2c LY 2/3 switch, then address IP of the PC to MANAGE the 10.0.0.100/24 value. Always the same, can only access servers

Can someone explain to me how to access this server (ping, http, etc...). Do we have to config switch HP BLc GbE2c LY 2/3? We read many many guide on the HP website, but they have not mentioned about routing or switch to configure

    Thanks in advance!

    It's my mistake!

My servers have 2 connections FlexLOM. That a connection has been enabled for 'network management' in ESXi. I do not understand, then I activated 2 connections. That cause outside the network can not access them.

I just disabled a single connection and everything works perfectly.

    I thank everyone!

  • Incompatibility of logging postfix in OpenSSL versions after the server upgrade

In my postfix logs, I get:

"WARNING: Library Runtime vs. compile header version mismatch: OpenSSL 2.0.0 is not compatible with OpenSSL 0.9.8.

When smtp or smtpd connections are attempted. It is true that it is only a warning and the connection goes ahead, but someone has an idea where can be found the error?

This has happened only since the update of my Mac Mini (used as home to 10.11.4 Server) and Server 5.1!

I'm seeing this too. So far there is no sequel, and I don't think it will be one question (other than the warning message). I doubt that this can be corrected without re - compile Postfix against the correct library/header. Will examine however.
