• Configuration of FlexSync for the Agile plm for process 6.1.1.1.11

  Here are the two queries that we have:

  1. create a new report on the environment:

  We followed the procedure to create a new flexsync report below:

  1. Open the configuration of FlexSync on the application server.
  2. Copy an existing out of integrated report "SingleFormulaPER".
  3. Change the new copied the report in step 2 and provided a name and traveled to the model file that had to be added.
  4. Committed change.

  To approve the changes, we observed that the database entry is made in the table FlexReportFields and FlexReports for the new report that we created.

  After doing this, we've made an entry for the plan of the site - Extensions.xml for the menu item. We are not able to see the name of the new report created in the user interface on the specification of Formulation. It says "no translation is lblbatchsheet. How to build a PKID for the entry in the CommonXLAExtensionCacheItem table and add the question of translation for this new report?

  What are the steps to follow to get this entry available for the user to be able to generate reports?

  2. adding a field to the report:

  We have modified an existing template to add a new column of the effective Date of the Summary tab. We used the name as "Summary.Effective" in the name Manager in excel for this new attribute template.

  After the update the model, we will open the FlexsyncConfig to edit the report, look for the updated model and then commit the changes.

  After that make us this change to the model, when we run the report specification formulation, we are able to see this column added to the report but the value is not getting from the report.

  We found that there is no entry in the FlexReportFields for this new attribute changes. When that we export this report to the FlexSyncConfig SQL code to run the script on database, as we are unable to find this entry in the script.

A custom validator is a class written in c# that can run a validation routine and return the display errors.

  PLM4P offers DRL (Document Reference Library) and collections of documents on individual objects as specifications.

  You can learn more about these features in the GSM guides and DAY lights.

  PLM4P also offers an extension of URL that allows punching your own document management system.   This feature allows you to activate a button 'Browse' next to the URL field.  You can use this button to open a document management system and fill in the URL with a link to the item in document management.

  Is there a forum for the Agile PLM?

  I think that if OTN is not a forum for a product belonging to Oracle Corp., it is because there is still a person in this "Department" who can administer this area of OTN. Often the acquired products take some time before they appear with their own forum on OTN, and although there are other means of support for the product, the urgency, I guess that is not so big.

• Report CSV truncating 0

  Does anyone else has had a problem with Agile PLM truncate the part numbers that start with 0? For example, when exporting to CSV: part #00001 becomes #1.

  I spoke with PLM R & D resource, this problem could be solved in the latest version. However, you can confirm with support.

• problem with ProdikaContracts/Nutrition v3.0 save web service analysis nutrients

  Hi, so we are in the process of upgrading our system of PLM4P to 6.1.1.4 and encounter a problem using nutrient analysis web service record.  We get an unhandled exception fault it's say "could not authenticate by using"DoLoginByPass() ".   Any ideas on what is the cause?

  P.S. the .svc and wsdl look good when I go to them, the error happens when I we try to run our client interface or if we test all services nutrition v30 in soapUI

  This assumes that you use the web services with a user of type single Director, as opposed to another user by web service call. If you do the latter, read to determine the approach to authentication - Option 2.

  Yes still. The company was called Prodika. It was then acquired by Agile and Agile was acquired by Oracle. So we are in the Agile family of products where the name of Agile PLM, but are part of Oracle where the name Oracle PLM4P.

  P4P is just a nice TLA - acronym of three letters - that people love to use.

• How to configure the provider Portal

  Hi all

  I use Agile PLM 4 process 6.1.0.2.

  I am configuring the provider portal.

  I connected a new provider and subject to registration in the Administration of the supplier portal.

  But when I try to approve this registration on the Supplier Portal Administration module I can not find the new registration.

  Is there something I need to set up before using the Supplier Portal Administration module?

  There is a widget in data Admin Toolkit, available in the Pack of extensibility, Admins of provider portal which will establish your country or associations so that you can display the records.

  We use PLM 6.2 and you need to disable the function of the business segment.

• Why no sign Out or Logout in PLM?

  Not having is not a web application "Logout" or "Logout", bothered me in PLM. Configuration manual indicates the LogoutEnabled = 'False' by default and talk to Agile forward to change.
  1. is anyone on PLM knows if there is a particular reason, why demand has no ability to disconnect to close a browser session?
  2. is there an acceptable method to enable this feature in 6.0 or 6.1?

  Hi Beckie.
  The only way to add a logout button would be through customization, so nothing out of the box. I know of one client who does. They had to sign a solution with all applications, so not a simple activity of their unique signature.
  Because our clients generally use a third-party authentication tool, it is not something we can do out of the box.

  If it's important then I would recommend creating an ER and maybe it could be a solution to facilitate customization.
