  I bought the laptop with windows 7 and received two CDs with it, one for install windows 10 and the other to re - install the software that came with the computer.

  I bought a new Toshiba HDD STOR. E PARTNER portable disk HARD drive a week ago. I find that the Setup file of Nero Backitup and Burn the disk is damaged. When you open the file, I get a message "Extraction does not have error: data error. Tried it with my virus scanner turns off, but it makes no difference.

  Is it possible to download the Nero software without having to send in the drive. I prefer this option because I already copied sensitive information on the disk.

  As far as I know possible to upgrade the Nero software.
  You need to download it from the homepage of Nero and then have to use the key to series that are part of the version on the external HARD drive.

  Boyfriend sorry but it is not possible to create a recovery disc with the current configuration of your software. The Toshiba Recovery disk contains the factory settings and t, you can integrate additional software to the image.

  If you want a picture of your laptop with your special software, you need to use another program like Acronis image. So you can make an image of your HARD drive with all your settings and software.

  I have the all-in-one D110.  The printer itself is fine, attatched by wifi.

  The software/driver on the XP PC which works very well for about a year,

  has been damaged.  This could be the result of a virus, or other similar event under Windows.

  I think the XP is recoverable;  I wonder what is the best way to get the HP software

  work again.  Can it be "repaired" - a method where all the existing settings

  is stored?  Or if I download the HP application/driver package can be installed on top

  of itself?  (Once again, hoping to preserve the settings)

  Or should I try uninstall using the XP Control Panel and do a clean install.

  I was hoping to avoid it because of the extra time to set it all once again.

  I used the diagnostic program HP uninstall the old SW and to reinstall the driver package.

  However, it seems to be hung near the end where it says

  product configuration...

  The same error messages can be seen in XP system as before event log, for example

  5 or 6 consecutive message similar to the following:

  Unable to start a DCOM Server: {1DAEDD8A-30ED-4585-9CF1-13BDF7791DDE}.

  The error:
  "" F:\Program HP Imaging\bin\hpqcxs08.dll-incorporation is not a valid Win32 application. ".

  Happened at the start of this command:
  F:\Program Imaging\bin\hpqcxs08.dll-enrobage HP

  I suspect that a system problem is beyond the scope of uninstall/reinstall.

  Anyody have ideas?

  EDIT after the failure of the installation, the installer together a few diagnostic logs and advance them to HP.

  HP sent me a troubleshooting tool that appeared on my desk.  He advised a complete uninstall

  using the uninstall program in the driver/software of 140 MB package.  It took about 20 minutes.

  After that, I was able to reinstall the software correctly.  I still have a few problems with this XP,

  but that's another story.   Thank you HP, some good technology built into your software.

  I recently bought a new Toshiba laptop and created a set of disks for backup use Toshiba Recovery media creator.
  Now, this laptop is proved to be defective and was exchanged by another.
  There was a slight difference in the software, what the faulty version was preloaded Office 2010 starter and the new Office 2007 trial 60 busy days.

  As I have already created backup discs of the defective model (i.e. same spec/model number) can just recover the system using the device backup discs?

  The reason why I want to do is that I prefer the Office 2010 Starter version (as opposed to the trial version). Software recovery disks that you create on this computer in particular connected serial number is or can I use them on the new machine to replace the identical specifications?

  Generally you can use it if the two laptops have the same part number (model number PAxxxx).

  Before that, you create an original DVD for the machine, you now have. If something goes wrong, you can use the original disc.
