LOG file.  I did a search as an administrator to INSTALL fond. Not and the LOG file to get anything.  How can I find this file so that I can uninstall Earthlink accelerator.  I'm very technically inclined but still can't find the problem.

  You could try to go to the MICROSOFT website, go to KNOWLAGE database and in the search bar, try the search for WINDOWS INSTALLER. Look for any version that is newer than the one you have. If this fails, try searching on GOOGLE. You can also try to do an update to WINDOWS VISTA.
