  It is possible to put the flight to be mirrored between the devices, but the same does not apply to get off airplane Mode, that needs to be done separately on each.

  Airplane on iOS mode, these wireless features are disabled:

  • Cell phone (voice and data)
  • A Wi - Fi connection
  • Bluetooth

The only way to bypass this screen is to turn on the phone or enter your info to motoblur. IMHO its kind of annoying that you can't easily switch mode plane like you can with other smart phones.
